So glad to have a new auto shop in the area as I tend to have cars that are hard to work on…read more Brought my GL550 T Benz in for brakes and found it needed AC compressor/parts all , typical of a Benz and sometimes hard to find good engineers to work on it. This is a new location, JR the manager- great guy, honest, knows how to route customers to technicians. Brakes done last week with help of JR, Num, Jack M , Sean ( Shawn)and got a good value and all MB parts lower than my previous techs nearby. This week, getting new ac compressor and flush/charge- big $$$ but JR hooked me up with best rates on parts and labor to help keep the total bill down. Sean and JR and another tech would do this work - several good techs here would be diving into this as getting into an engine compartment of a twin turbo S 550 is not easy. 3 hours! They did a great job in several hours and my air-conditioning is cold, brakes new- drives beautifully!!!! What a great job. Thanks Sean again. Thanks Jack and Hunter for joining the team and getting me in. Great location, great service. Highly recommend!!!!

I understand this business model thrives off upselling services to its customers but that's only if the customer agrees to pay for the service. I was charged for a $119 Engine Analysis that was not approved by me. Do not recommend.

Moving into a new area, high on the must-do list is finding a family doctor and finding a good car…read morerepair establishment! For the latter, several people directed me to Joey Watkins, first for the required State Safety Inspection and then for a problem with my 2010 G-6 headlight. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. The work was done quickly and finished when they had indicated. The prices were reasonable and they did not press me for any services other than what I came in for. The icing on the cake for me was when two other customers, overhearing that I was new to the area, voluntarily came over to me to tell me how long they had been coming here and what I good decision I had made to bring my car here! Wow!

I brought my Ford F150 to Joey Watkins Tire & Automotive after the truck stalled and had to be…read moretowed on 05/31/26 from the Target parking lot in Flowery Branch. Prior to stalling, the truck had been jerking, sputtering during acceleration, and losing power while driving. After evaluating the truck, I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $509.19. I was then told the truck was fixed. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, the exact same issue happened again. The truck began sputtering and completely died near Friendship Road and I985, creating a dangerous situation in traffic and resulting in another emergency tow that cost me an additional $300. I returned the truck and explained that the issue was still occurring. However, because the truck happened to start for them during testing, I was told they could not replicate the problem and did not know what was wrong. I specifically asked about fuel system concerns because the symptoms felt fuel related, but no diagnosis was made beyond the spark plugs. At that point, I no longer trusted the truck to be safe to drive and took it directly across the street to Christian Brothers Automotive Buford for a second opinion. Shortly after arriving there, the truck stalled again while they were attempting to move it into the service bay. Because the failure occurred while connected to diagnostics, they were able to pull active fault codes indicating issues with the fuel pump and fuel pump control module. I ultimately authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs for the actual problem. In retrospect, the spark plug replacement appears to have been more of a guess at the problem than an actual diagnosis, especially considering the symptoms remained exactly the same immediately afterward and the real issue turned out to be fuel system related. To be fair, intermittent mechanical issues can be difficult to diagnose, and the staff was polite throughout the process. However, I am disappointed that I spent over $500 on repairs that did not address the issue at all, followed by another breakdown and tow immediately after being told the vehicle was fixed. Given the safety risk involved with a vehicle stalling in traffic, I expected a more thorough diagnostic process before being told the truck was repaired.
