My husband and I visited Brannigan's Pub recently. The decor is charming & we had a lovely meal there. He had their fish & planks (chips) and I had the corned beef & cabbage. Both were very tasty & I really appreciated that the corned beef was not too salty. It really hit the spot. Our waitress was very sweet & made sure that we were taken care of. They have a Picnic in the Park across the street on Wednesdays, in the summer. It's fun to enjoy a meal at Brannigan's & take a chair to Depot Park to enjoy a concert later. Slainte! read more

I t was quiet when I went in. After awhile more people started filtering in. I ordered the Steelhead . It was tasty cooked very close to perfection. I like the taste of the rice also. The vegetables were great cooked with just a little crispness left and they tasted yummy. Server was friendly and accommodating. read more

The service was so polite and fast! They greeted me quickly and checked that my to go order was correct before I paid. The food was FANTASTIC. The pasties are SO SO SO GOOD and the gravy that comes with them makes them next level. The onion rings were good, cbblt was very good and the chicken sandwich was very good. 100% recommend!!! This place is amazing! Excellent service and incredible food. The best onion rings ever had in my whole life. Beer is Ice cold on tap and the servers belt out hilarious Irish folk songs!! Update! The salmon salad leaves a lot to be desired. Why crumble the salmon? Just leave it as a single chunk on top. Also, never boil beets as they loose all their flavor. Just steaming them to soften should be enough. The fish and chips on the other hand are fantastic! read more

First time here and I loved it! We ordered shepherd's pie and meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were full of flavor and definitely added to the flavor of the dish. The side of green beans were al dente with onions and some bell peppers and seasoned perfectly. Both dishes had their Guinness gravy and I ordered more because it was also yummy! Awesome spot!! Rolled into town after driving all day and we were looking for some good food for us and our three kids ... We ordered a couple of Guinness and and pot pie for the grown ups. Our two older kids split the Shepherd's Pie. They made a grilled cheese for our picky little guy. The pot pie was good. The Shepherd's Pie was awesome!! The grilled cheese made our dude happy. The service was friendly and good. The bill was super reasonable. Overall, we will come back here every time we visit Kalispell, with or without our kids!! Highly recommend!!! read more

Such a let down! Every time I come here it's like I want to like it but the servers and bar tenders are so rude that it makes it so BAD! Last time I came in was St. Patrick's day so where do you go but the Irish pub?! I called and the answering machine said they closed at 11. We got there at 9:50 sat down waited no one came people walked by didn't acknowledge us so I got up to ask for a drink and the bartender snaps we are DONE serving!!! And rolled her eyes and left.. Tried to go here for the first time. No one that worked there said a word to us. We weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Maybe we came in the wrong door? Saw no signage indicating anything. We sat down to look over the menu. One employee looked at us and never approached us or said a word. I visited recently from CA to enjoy some time away, I came across this Pub looking on yelp for places to hang, and this place fit the bill. Being from CA you get used to every bar having a "casino" but there's was upstairs away from the main bar which is nice. I spoke with a really cool bartender there, she helped me navigate the "Celtic lingo" of the menu and got some steak bites that were delicious and the beer was cold. I may have been looking for a "Montana" style bar setting but this place did me right and I enjoyed it very much. I'll be back to have a beer and say hi soon! read more

Good place for solid pub fare. They also have a full bar which not every venue in Montana has because of liquor license laws. It's rich, heavy, Irish food like bangers and mash and beef pasties. I can't speak to authenticity as I am not Irish, but I do know I leave there feeling loaded with calories. It's "stick to your ribs" food so be prepared. Love drinking a Moscow mule on the deck on a hot summers evening. Good tap selection as well. read more

They would not honor my voucher for a free appetizer. I took a survey online as advertised, which says expires June 30, 2019 and my server checked with his supervisor and said they aren't honoring this promotion anymore. So that's false advertising, and a waste of 20 minutes filling out a survey. I didn't argue or make a scene. Moving on, I ordered a beer from another server who asked what we wanted to drink. Waited about 10 minutes and the first guy came back to ask what food we wanted to order (meanwhile no beer, and wasn't that busy). We ordered Dipping Sticks and he said they didn't have any. There are a few , so called, Irish pubs in town, but just because you name your bar with an Irish name doesn't make it an Irish pub. Brannigan's is an exception to that rule. It may not be in Ireland, but the Irish knot work and Celtic inscriptions on the beams, the communal table, the Irish beer on tap, the bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, Ruben sandwiches, and the beautiful waitresses dressed in those cute Irish maid uniforms make me feel, at least for an hour or 2, that I'm in one. Be warned, this place is über popular and combine that with the fact that it's on the small side, by American standards, it may having you waiting for a place to sit. I said it's on the small side, but it actually the perfect size, I've been in pubs in Europe 1/2 this size and they are great fun. As time goes by, and some of the newness wears off, it will be easier to get into, but for now it's crowded, but I'm getting used to it. Actually, at this point, I've kind of become a regular. Damn it's loud in there though! With the place 1/2 full you can barely hear the person next to you talk. Why? The walls are brick with nothing on them to help absorb sound. Decor much like a traditional Irish Pub with the deep dark wood. Good place to stay up on the game. Food was a bit slow getting to the table but well worth the wait. Top notch bun-less burger which included a some extra sides like cucumbers and tomatoes. Everyone in our group raves about how delicious their food was. Where do I start except at what is my favorite meal, which is the Irish cheese steak sandwich. I can not tell you how many times I have ordered this and never was disappointed. I am a big sandwich fan and it coming in a pretzel roll really ups my interest in this item. I've never felt so uncomfortable. Arrived at about 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. 3 people at the bar and I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience. The Pub itself is great. It's open, inviting, plenty of room, outside seating and a big parking lot. They have a couple of flat screen TVs and a full bar in case you feel like a shot of Jameson. The menu is easy. One page of Irish pubs classics like Bangers and mash, Shepherds pie and Corn beef and cabbage. Though I love that kind of food, it was to heavy for me on a hot summer day. Great Irish Pub here in Kalispell. The steak was incredible. The Guinness pie was unique and flavorful. Beers fresh and tasty. I would avoid the calamari as it was a bit chewy and nothing special. Service outstanding. Great atmosphere. The Irish bar looks straight from the motherland. Just moved back to the valley from Seattle after a couple decades away and I am impressed to find so many well thought out and amazing places to eat. Great authentic Irish here. read more

Nice place, friendly service. The corn beef was good, sort of shredded up, too many potatoes I would have asked for more cabbage and fewer potatoes next time. My wife had shepherds pie and that was good too. The Guiness pie looked really good and my nephew reported that to be very tasty. Good beers on tap and the price was about $100 out the door for lunch for 5 so cannot complain. Overall pretty solid food and if you like Irish type of food this is a good choice read more

Ordered takeout ($97.00) and when attempting to pay with a gift card it was denied. If you have a gift card you got screwed. According to the staff the "server" has been down for close to a month. The owners get your money and you get nothing. The staff was great (apologetic and refunded for sub par food) but it is a problem when the owners won't honor a gift card and don't seem interested in fixing the problem. read more

The best part about this place is the atmosphere. Loved the pub vibe. The food was just ok. Took the family here, and not one person finished their plate and nobody wanted to take food with them. The waitress was so sweet and the man singing and playing guitar was really good. Took forever to order and get food. Once we did it was surprisingly good! My mom in from out of town and she's Irish. She ordered the shepherds pie and not a scrap of it left on plate! I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken had a great flavor. We ordered corned beef and cabbage and pasties with a side if mashed potatoes. Both were fabulous. Hot and perfectly cooked. The flavors were amazing.
