I searched online for a quote to change my front and rear brake pads and found Brake Kingdom, so I decided to stop by. Two other automotive shops, including the Mercedes-Benz dealer, had told me that my brakes were fine. However, they mentioned that if I wanted to change them, it would cost over $2,500. Israel, the owner, offered to inspect my brake pads and confirmed that the rear ones needed to be replaced. He promptly contacted his suppliers to find the best possible price, which I found to be fair. I left my car with him, and he completed the work in 90 minutes. In contrast, the dealer would have had my car for two days without providing a loaner vehicle! After changing the pads, Israel showed me the ones that the previous owner had installed. They looked like they were from Walmart! Overall, Israel did a fantastic job. He is very trustworthy and genuinely cares about doing right by his clients. Thank you again, Israel! read more

Ladies, you know how you're wishing for the man of your dreams? Even though I already found my husband, I did find the mechanic of my prayers, Israel. This is my second review and once again, he's fixed my 2011 VW Touareg of all ailments an older car starts to have like ABS brake sensor, speed sensor, driver lock sensor, rear brake pads, and the like. He even gave me the option of buying a sensor from VW parts directly which would save me money! Who does that? An honest mechanic . Highly recommend Brake Kingdom. You won't be disappointed. read more

It's the best repair shop ever. I love that whatever you need fixing, they will show you the faulty parts that needs replacing. Most places don't do that. Repair prices are also reasonable and service gets done quickly. read more

Decent pricing and quick work. Israel is a pleasure to work with and walked me through the process as a first time customer.

If you want to be disrespected and verbally abused when you have questions about their "work", make sure to speak with Isreal.

Needed a check up before a long travel. Owner took me in last minute, when he didn't have to (don't be like me). Very honest will only tell you what you need, straight shooters. If you need anything done, this is your place. read more

My brakes were grinding and being new to the area, I literally prayed for direction. Then asking for recommendations, divine intervention, BRAKE KINGDOM was rated one of the BEST BRAKE SHOPS in Pembroke Pines. And I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner Mr. ISRAEL prior to the visit. He was a amazing. He didn't try to over sale me anything and informed me of the situation and recommendations. So often Body shops try to take advantage of women but not Israel. If you are in need of any car service, I highly recommend BRAKE KINGDOM and ask for him. You will be glad you did. Many, many thanks again to Israel and his team read more

Brake Kingdom - Auto Repair Near Me - Hallandale, Florida

Although the team he was very nice.. I had to come back several times with issues!!! I got an oil change that was supposed to last 5000 miles. First I had to come back because the oil gasket was not put back properly so my car said there was engine trouble. Now, I haven't even driven 1000 miles and my car needs another oil change. Again the team is very nice which is why I gave them 2 stars. But awful at the actual work required. My husband's car had issues too! Had to take both our cars to tire kingdom after going here several time's for the same issue. Never coming here again. Sorry. Not sorry. read more

Brake Kingdom is small but mighty! Izzy and Carlos, very good and thorough work done! I couldn't be happier to know my Ford Fusion Hybrid will have a much better extended life because of them!! True professionals who know their cars!! I'm a bit upset I didn't find sooner since they are so close but, when I can get authentic, knowledgeable and fair-priced service - priceless!! Thanks Guys you are literally a breath of fresh air, never mind the wonderful wait time with fellow customers and gorgeous fall weather!! I am a Customer for life!! read more

I hardly review automotive services but once in a while I find good ones that are worth mentioning. Brake Kingdom is one of them. My car one day started making this screeching noise and I knew it was coming from the brakes. I consulted the closest Lexus dealer first and the advisor told me that I would need to change the pads and rotors. It was going to cost around $800 for the four. FYI, I also work for a dealer and its common practice to upsell the customer. However, I'm also friends with several mechanics and they always suggest to get quotes from independent mom and pop shops. Glad I listened and found Brake Kingdom on Yelp. It has decent reviews so I decided to go for it. I called and within one ring, the shop owner picked up. He asked me a few questions about what I hear or feel when I press the brakes on my car and gave me quote for a pair of brake pad replacement. I told him that I'll be at his shop at 9:30am the following day. It's not the cleanest or most organized shop so I was a bit worried, to be honest. The owner said that it will probably take about 1 1/2 hours so I just Ubered to the gym to kill time. Around 11am, he called to let me know that my car was ready. My bill was $187 including labor and taxes. Wow! I just saved about $600! He said that I didn't need to change the rotors, just the front brake pads and the back ones will need to be replaced in about 2 months. Needless to say, I was happy with his honesty and for saving me time and money. It's about a month now and my replacement brake pads still perform good as new. I will definitely come back here and get my back pads replaced in about a month. read more

Israel was excellent and took care of us. Extremely professional and honest, would recommend to anyone

Dealer said $900 for rear brakes -rotors and pads... Israel quoted me $450 and fixed it in like 45 minutes... I barely finished my lunch at Mcdonalds next door... and I had a hole in my radiator overflow tank... he fixed that too on the same visit!!! Honest, fast service has a home at Brake Kingdom... Israel Avila...is old school. No games just quality service with a smile. I felt safe leaving my car in his care. Thank you Brake Kingdom for looking after my wallet!!! - (and he speaks Spanish/se habla espanol). read more

Amazing trustworthy place! I was looking for a local news shop and saw the reviews on here. My car had some issues and also needed to be towed and they helped out. I easily had it towed to their shop and they looked at it to help me see what was going on. They didn't take advantage or overcharge. I explained to them that depending on the cost I may just consider selling so they waited until I approved everyone continue the work. Unfortunately I had a bad experience almost 2 years ago with another mechanic in Miami who took out a piece of my car that they never should have. These guys helped out a lot despite what the other shop did. They communicate well and helped me out twice. I meant to leave this review last month (sorry!) but this is the place I will trust with my car. Thank you so much!! read more

I had a problem with my brake lights not turning off. I had a flight to catch and knew the lights would drain my battery. I called Brake Kingdom early on a Saturday morning. Israel, the owner told me to come right over, and they would take care of the problem. Israel and the team had things working correctly in no time and were very honest about the ,problem and didn't try to upsell me on anything else. FAST, HONEST, and RELIABLE service. The cost of the repair was very reasonable too. I sincerely thank Brake Kingdom for helping me out! read more

I had an excellent and professional service done on my front brakes along with an oil change. I felt I was taken care of. I was picked up and dropped off for my car service at home. Everything was done on a timely fashion. Very pleased and strongly recommend. read more

Israel and Carlos are very nice and honest guys. This is an open mechanic place, so you can sit in the little waiting area, or leave and come back to get your car. Does auto and body work. Doesn't do tire alignments or window tints. Cash or card. Got the job done well and fast. I don't think there's a bathroom here, but I've been to a lot of mechanics in my life to pee before. Lots of parking in the front or back. Would highly recommend! Thanks so much! read more

I have gone to this location a few times now. Israel is an amazing owner who is super honest and very reliable. This is the second time where I thought I needed to fix parts on my car but he was honest and told me there wasn't a need. This business is honest and doesn't look to take advantage of their clients. They built their business by being honest. This is my only go to for all my car repairs. read more

My car needed new brakes and Israel was recommended by a friend - so being a savvy consumer I looked up Brake Kingdom online. I couldn't believe all the 5 star reviews! I'm so happy I found them. They were honest, had fast service and I was treated very well. Most importantly, I have peace of mind knowing there is actually an honest mechanic out there. Going forward, I will be calling Israel with all my car needs. Believe the hype - they are the best around. read more

After a visit to my dealer, I was informed that I need new brake pads. After a big sigh, I opted to look around for alternative options. As many of us know, it is difficult - at best - to find a reliable and capable place to complete the task. After a failed attempt at another shop who offered some vague response, I came across Brake Kingdom and opted to give them a try. Spoke to Israel in the morning and stopped by later in the day. Israel and his guys took great care of my car, replaced the pads quickly and had me on my way - before I even had time to walk across to a store for some strawberry sundae. What I like about this place: They do a good and complete job - this is not a "good enough" type place that are a dime a dozen in SoFL. They showed me the new parts being installed and the old parts they removed. Prices are reasonable. What I really like about this place: Israel is a great guy who takes pride in his work. Had a wonderful discussion with him. They provided to me, what I wanted. He did not try to up sell or provide me with anything I did not need or did not want. More so, he is proud of his work, his company, and the services he provides. This place is a gem, the owner and staff are great. Today, I learned that my dealer was a little too aggressive in saying my brakes are in dire need of attention and found a great place for my future needs. read more

In South Florida, you always have to be careful on who works on you car and I can honestly say Israel is a dream. He explains everything to you so you understand everything and he will let you know what you really need. Their price is amazing for rotors and pads and the service is impeccable! They make you feel welcomed and secure ( especially if you are a woman). I would recommend them to everyone! read more

Israel, the owner, is a consummate professional. I had brake screeching after my front brakes were replaced by Brake Kingdom seven months ago. I brought my vehicle back and Israel's team inspected without delay. To our great surprise, the brakes made noise due to a manufacturing flaw, thus Israel promptly replaced them under his warranty policy. I trust brake kingdom for all my braking needs. I know that when I go there, I do not have to worry. Thank you! read more

Took my car in because the brake lights were not shutting down. They helped me very quickly. More importantly, rather than selling me a new part, they repaired the equipment and saved me money. The service was excellent. I wish I would have found this neighborhood shop sooner. read more

First, I want to say how great Israel is. I called him with several questions regarding the car's problem and he worked w my schedule to inspect my car. I'm extremely happy I chose Brake Kingdom. I phoned the owner Israel, and from my description he immediately knew the solution. He quoted me a very reasonable price and told me to bring it in. When I showed up Israel greeted me and so did a Mechanic. They are very courteous and professional and you will DEFINITELY feel confident that you came in. Even better he could do the job with a very short wait. He didn't upsell me he just did EXACTLY what was needed necessary and relevant. I have NEVER felt better or more comfortable about a car repair. In the time he quoted they completed the repair. Price was EXACTLY as quoted and expected. Cash or credit cards so payment is easy. He gave me some great tips for maintenance and he answered all of my questions. Israel Brake Kingdom and his Mechanic deserve praise and recognition, are truly A+ and a class act and everything I wanted. I'm DEFINITELY going back if I ever need ANYTHING ELSE!!!! read more

Great professional service! Just went in for a last minute oil change and he got me in and out. Very nice guy. You might pay a little more than the traditional drive up oils change place but I felt like they did a thorough job. read more

Terrific place, I went by to see when I could make an appointment for my brakes on my German car. The Brake repair light was on in the car and I was worried, Izzy told me, he could do it right then and there. He told me, give me the keys to check if front or back. After a quick test, It turned out to be back brakes. He told me I only needed pads and the sensors but not rotors. The labor would be about an hour and a half to two hours..all said and done, I went to nearby Dunkin Donuts and repair took about 1 hour and 20 minutes. He also showed me the parts which my normal dealer where I purchased the car from, never did. I was very happy with price, time, repair and honesty. It could have been stressful and expensive, but turned out to be quick and painless, and the cost for my car was reasonable. read more

What can I tell you about this shop except that I was in complete shocked for how honest these guys were. I had just left Aamco, with a proposal to fix my manual transmission (Clutch Plate replacement I was told) for almost $1k. I was looking for a second proposal, I thought maybe I could save a few dollars. My brother told me to go see Israel, he will do you right he said, so I did. I called him on a Saturday morning and Israel said, bring it in, I need to look at it before I can give you a true estimate. I took my 2008 G37 and after a few minutes, he said to me, I don't think it's your clutch, perhaps the master cylinder but let me check it. Long story short, he noticed the brake fluid was very dark, contaminated. He said, let me see if we can save it. He emptied the reservoir and filled it with new fluid (a few times) and voila! Problem fixed, saving me money on the clutch and the master cylinder. The most honest mechanic shop I have ever seen. Thank you Israel and team! I will recommend you and your team for life! read more

We took my Chevy Impala here to change the brakes. Israel was super nice and helpful from the moment I called him. They ordered the parts and changed the brakes in less than 40 mins. They didn't try to sell anything on me that wasn't necessary like other shops do. I'm super happy with the work they did and the price was fair too. I'll definitely bring my car here for future repairs! read more
