Great locally-owned company - honest and went above and beyond when replacing our brake pads. Will go back again!

Thanks for fixing my truck and for future repair advice. We will be back soon. Justin was great with our overall service

I have been to Brake Firce a few times for different repairs on my car, including brakes. They have always given me good honest advice and great prices. I haven't had to come back once after a repair which is much more then I can say for my previous mechanic. They always get my repair done fast which is great because I never want to pay for a rental car. They always know what they are talking about and are happy to show me the issue and take the time to explain it to me. I like that kind of transparency in an auto repair shop. read more

This shop is professional and honest. They give all the details of the service you need and do not try to upsell you with scare tactics. They did a thorough brake inspection and I approved the service needed. The brake job was performed and finished efficiently. Excellent price and work. read more

Having worked in the automotive field for the past 17+ years, this place was a pleasure to find. Straightforward, honest information with no pushy up-sells. Friendly owner who truly cares about customer service and quality work. They also have great pricing and strive to keep you coming back in the future rather then try to get every penny they can on your first visit like most the others out there. Highly recommend giving them a shot. read more

Came in to have a squealing noise diagnosed, On a Sunday with no appointment. The manager Brian Nguyen diagnosed the problem and came in under cost. Very nice dude! Highly recommend! read more

Justin was fantastic to work with. It was a great experience from the minute I stepped in the shop and from when I received my car back.

Great and knowledgeable service . I would recommend for anyone who needs work done on their car, even if you are just looking for an estimate or advice. Thank you Justin for taking care of my truck, and my daughters car. read more

After reading reviews I decided on having my breaks done here. Especially because their open on a Sunday. David was way cool and I felt like he was honest in what he was saying. Excellent price, Squeaking is gone, and I'd definitely return. read more

Just got a tune up and my spark plugs were extremely dirty. These guys cleaned them up to avoid new ones and it purrs like a kitten. I always get excellent service and never get up sold. They are honest and do great work. read more

This place took my sister's car in and it was ready within a few hours. They use the best products and the pricing is amazing! I got quoted a price double what they charged me at another mechanic and that place couldn't look at it for another week! Brake force could've charged me for other repairs for the car but did not! They also called me before starting a repair so I wouldn't be surprised with a charge. They are my new mechanic! Daniel was especially helpful and gave me many updates on the process of fixing the car. I am impressed! read more

This is the place! Honest, good work, reasonable pricing and actually passionate about cars! David is a talent! All my cars go here: custom jeep, M3, sequoia. read more

I read all the great reviews and made an appointment for my husband to take our car in to get the brakes inspected and possibly replaced. He arrived and the jerk who had taken our information hadn't bothered to actually write it down anywhere and they told him he could sit and cool his heels for an hour if he wanted the car looked at. Meanwhile, he decided the place was too scuzzy (and then the cops showed up) and left. Stay away! read more

Great experience, very honest. I knew a few things had to be done and was iffy on a few others, they could of easily told me I needed things I didn't, instead they were very honest and only recommended what really was needed. No complaints and would return and recommend read more

David was a real pro service manager. They took their time and did a great job.. Price was a real great deal. Brakes work smooth as glass. I had just had my tooth pulled so was cranky, but David wouldn't get frazzled was courteous and efficient Nice friendly waiting room with big windows over working area so you could watch your car worked getting on. The worst thing was that the Pop corn was stale. But it was worth traveling 75 miles to get it done-- for a dollar go to the dollar tree store and gouge your heart out!. I will go here anytime. read more

I'd mark -0 if that was a choice. Returned my car to me worse. Had to take it to another shop for a correct diagnosis and thorough repair. You will flush your money down the drain with Brake Force. WARNING: GO SOMEWHERE YOU TRUST. Can't trust these unprofessionals. read more

This is the worst place ever. My sister brought her car in to get it fixed and they keep changing the price on her every time she walks in. This place needs to get their facts straight. Don't come here ever! read more

Excellent shop! these guys really go above and beyond. The 1st time I came in I was pretty much stuck and they drove to Clackamas to get the parts needed in rush hour! then I had an issue with my rotors 6 months after the original service and they fixed it under warranty. no charge to me! very much give the impression they care about my business and that is more and more rare these days. read more

Great experience. AJ and his team were honest and did a great job. No frills just the truth.

Great place with Great prices! Glad I made the decision to come here for brake repair services. They don't try to up sell you services you don't need- and that I can appreciate! read more

Juan the owner really helped me out. The customer service is excellent. I recommend it 100%. I will be back for sure! Thank you guys!!

This place is AMAZING! I'm visiting from 6 hours away on a girls trip, and my belt broke on my car. It took out my power steering and would make my car overheat, leaving us no way to get home. I called here and spoke to Bryan, who said he would look at it when the tow truck brought it here. I got here, he got my car in right away, even though they were obviously busy, and took a look. Did I mention it was CLOSING time?! He identified the problem and came in to tell me he could fix it right now, just needed about a half hour. When I asked him if he was sure, since it was closing time, he didn't even hesitate and said of course he could do it now. That is AMAZING customer service, and I am so grateful that he took such good care of us. Thank you, Bryan!!! read more

I have used the Brake Force in Tigard for over two years because of the customer service and quality of work that is consistently delivered. Jim and the team of technicians have helped my car and I every mile of the way. I will continue to use Tigard Brake Force (and avidly recommend their services to anyone and everyone in need of great work at a fair price) for all of my vehicles needs! read more

Today September 14th 2016 on my only 30th birthday did i have to wait 9 hours straight to tell me there's nothing they can do with my car, this is including the white smoke that is coming out of my engine and the brakes giving out! I had to wait 9 hours straight just to hear that there's nothing they can fuckin do yo! It was a shitty birthday! There was a time they went the extra mile but now David the manager promises you nothing worth valuable and won't return your phone calls, and the employees are a bunch of fraud with little to nothing experience! None of them wished me a happy birthday, I'd be happier and better off paying twice as much for better service somewhere else than this shit for free yo! Hope whoever reads this will go somewhere else asap! Don't do the same mistake as i did....... read more

There is no way I am going to be able to say enough great things about this place. They are outstanding!! and this is coming from a girl that HATES car auto body shops because I feel like every time I go into one I am being taken advantage of because I have no idea what is even being said to me or done on my car. but these guys!! they took my car in and after about 20 or 30 min, while it was still in the bay, they had my come in, clearly and easily showed AND explained EVERYTHING that was suggested I do OR what the minimum I could do to get by with if I wanted to only spend as little as possible. Who does that in the auto mechanic world?!?! this is the first time I have ever seen it. They gave me a quote and an ETA for that day that they could have it done. Less that the time estimated it was ready to go . I am just amazed by the honestly and the informative customer service here. I felt completely confident in the work I was having done. Also. not to mention, 20 min later I was just about a mile up the street at MIDAS doing the SAME thing, exact same thing, and they quoted me over 600$ more!!!!!! they were trying to have me get more work done on my car that the thing was even worth. I asked these guys about it, showed them then paper work MIDAS gave me and they said confidently no I didn't need half of that done. So I will recommend this place to everyone. They are fast, friendly ,informative, not pushy at all, give you options and affordable. read more

The guys at Brake Force are great! I trust them with my car and they are very honest and fair prices.

Several months back, I had a brake problem I had been putting off. I called many places and felt comfortable with few and decided on Brake Force because of the great reviews. As I drove in, my brakes made a loud, screeching sound that any shop could have played up as being a serious issue. As I drove up, they recognized my car by description knew who I was and got right to work. I was relieved that they were honest about not needing new shoes on the back, that my rotors were fine in the front and just needed new pads. They kept me appraised of everything along the way and even helped reprogram my dash computer to eliminate annoying routine service messages. Excellent price and work. read more

I want to thank the team of Brake Force . I had outstanding service. Unfortunately my car broke down on the freeway. I called break force to see if they could work on my vehicle. Not only would they work on it they would wait untilthe tow truck came to drop off my car. It was past 8 o'clock , and the owner of brake force was waiting for me with a smile on his face. He told me he would look at my car first thing in the morning and give me a call to let me know what , why and how it could be fixed. My car was fixed at the end of business the next day and it runs beautifully. They waited for me to get off of work and catch a ride to them so that I could pick up my vehicle , again, I didn't get there until eight. read more

These guys are incredible! I happened upon them in a crisis--I drove my car across country on a broken axel. They went above and beyond to squeeze me in and fix my car that day (so I could start work the next day). Not only that, but they are affordable! I have gone here four times, and have interacted with David, Miguel, and Juan. All have impeccable customer service skills (friendly, attentive, patient and direct--they let you what they can and can't do, and how long it will take). Also, they always explain, in detail, all the procedures they took. As a bonus, they always have Red Vines in the lobby! read more

Great service, professional and courteous. David is excellent at thoroughly explaining and updating what services are needed. Amazing value for full brake repair - $100 per axle - and did not charge extra labor when additional parts needed to be installed. Will be back! read more

I recommend this place because they are honest. They don't try to sell you parts that your car does not need and the people who work there are very friendly. They did a great job on my car. read more

Best auto service I've ever had. My brakes were serviced faster than what any other auto shop could have done and at a much cheaper cost compared to other shops. The owner is also really nice and explains everything that you want to know in detail. Thank you Brake Force. read more

Total scammers. Had a clunking noise, said it was the T case and will cost 1,125 to fix. Went up the street to another shop and they said the t case was just fine and all it needed was a u joint which cost 250 parts and labor. Criminals. read more

They did a great job on my brakes, but the clutch replacement was bungled. I could barely shift the car and eventually the linkage gave out and left me stranded. What's more, the check engine light and fuel cap light started coming on immediately after the repair and another shop discovered a vacuum hose had been left unconnected. My brakes are fine - I even had them check by another shop. So I would use these guys for brakes, but not for general auto service, read more

Friendly, quick and don't try to screw you over (especially if your a female). Man who runs the place is very knowledgable and has great advice! Been going here for almost 4 years. They've patched and replaced tires and my brakes and rotors... Without breaking the bank! read more

Wow! I am so impressed with the service I received here! I get really stressed out when I have to deal with car stuff, but the gentleman at the front counter today was so helpful and kind and even offered to do my back breaks included in the price! I am so happy I found this place. The price is fair, the service is honest, and they don't hassle you to get more than you need done. I've officially found my place for tires and breaks! read more

Usually I don't wrote reviews unless the business went above and beyond their normal practices. But brake force went beyond beyond the "normal". Earlier today my brakes lost pressure and I had my car towed. I originally had an appointment with them at 130pm and my car was towed there around 9am. I walked in and David was very gracious and helpful. In fact he made you feel like family. I told him my predicament and right away he accommodated me. Mind you this was a Sunday and I was technically I "walk in", but he took care of me anyways. His staff quickly had my car up and looking into my problem. David and his staff were very polite. He told me and showed the damage I had to my brake system. I thought I was going to pay an arm, a leg, and my first born to get this all fixed. But he cut me a deal and even threw in an oil change. That was very nice of him. I was in and out of there within 3 hours. It took a little longer because he wanted to make sure everything was up to spec and right before I drove off to home. There are no words to describe his customer service. It was almost like going to a family member to fix your car. You knew you weren't going to get ripped off or pay for something you didn't need, that type of feeling. I HIGHLY recommend going to Brake Force in Tigard, Oregon for all your car care needs and maintenance. They will take care of you and then some. In fact, while I was waiting for my car, there was another customer whose parts weren't going to come in till later on the day. David called him and explained this and offered to give him and ride back home and pick him up when his car was done. Now who does this? If you want a car maintenance place that won't rip you off and treat you like family, then come here. I am customer for life. Thanks Brake Force for everything you guys did. read more

These guys redid my breaks and I was extremely happy with the outcome. They did the work quickly and gave me a fair price. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Our 13-year-old truck was badly in need of servicing. David is a great guy who saved us money on the job, and who took the time to show us everything that needed to be done while the truck was up on the hydraulic jack, (he even pointed out a bad bearing-replacement job that was done in the past). His team went above and beyond to clean up the bottom of our truck, and the engine compartment is immaculate! Our smooth-running truck runs smoother than ever (like, noticeably) and we felt good about putting the money into the truck because David told us he felt it was worth it. Great group of guys, will definitely bring my truck back in the future 'cause I know I will get a good deal and the job will be done better than expected! read more

I called 6/19 to get an appointment for 6/20 at 8am. For their $100 per axle brake job and free oil change before we head out on a 3000 mile road trip. When I arrived at 8 they had no record of my appointment. No big deal they took my car back anyways. After an hour of my car being on the lift I asked the man at the front desk for an update and he replied " I don't know yet they are testing stuff." His tone and demeanor were rude when I questioned the "testing stuff." I just wanted my front brakes done and an oil change. I continued to wait another 30 min before getting an update. They told me I needed new pads and calibers on the front. They wanted $530. I told them no and to put my car back together and I'd go some place else. It took them another 30 min to put it back together. I then went down the road to Les Schwab and told them what the brake force had told me and I asked for them to check my brakes and rotate my tires. I was at Les Schwab for a total of 40 min and they told me my brakes, including my pads, were just fine and I didn't need any work done at all. The brake force is a scam. Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable repair shop. read more
