Recently had a service performed by Mike and Chris and the whole team over at AAS. Wasn't completely happy with some issues that arose after the repair and Chris and Mike were able to get things fixed up for me, at no additional cost. I don't have many automotive skills, so it would be easy for someone to say that I needed a new turbo, or a new radiator and I would just have to accept that. That is the exact opposite of what happened, as they took care of me without question! What to say... I came in with transmission problems next door (they're 5/5 also). AAS of Tualatin is the most positive and productive place I've been to! Yeah, it's cluttered with some vehicles, and sure it's only a couple garages - BUT - Chris has always been a straight shooter with diagnostics and pricing, Mike and the technicians have made me feel relieved and I feel like I can really trust them. I go hard on my truck: they don't guilt trip me, or make me feel bad. Always there helpful and their work speaks for themselves. It's a diamond in the rough and it's my favorite place for repairs. My wife and I just happened into this shop as google maps said it was nearby to where she was buying a car private sale, she asked a gentleman in the office if they had time to hook up a code reader before she made her decision to buy the car or not. He got right to it without any delay. He was super helpful, friendly, professional, very informative and very patient with us, as neither my wife nor myself have any car knowledge. He told us what all the codes that showed were and if he'd be concerned if in our shoes. Nope no concerns, then he gave the car a good once over looking for leaks, rust and such. We left feeling confident the car was in great shape. The bummer part about this review.... we didn't get his name!!! If we didn't live in Vancouver, we'd absolutely bring our cars here. So I have been coming to this shop for over 10 years now. I have never had better service fromanyone like what the owner Mike has done for me. Hes completely honest even to the point of telling me that something does not need to be replaced. Most shops will tell you that something is broken when its not just to make money. Several years ago Valvoline tried telling me I had a leak that needed to be repaired and so I went to Mike and he looked at it and told me everything was fine. Their prices are competitive and yes sometimes you might pay a little more then a different shop but its done right with great staff. Reading the one bad review on here about paying for headlight replacement is false. Yes you pay for the headlight but they install all lights free of labor charge. Not many shops will give free labor on light bulb changes. I highly suggest anyone that needs repairs to go see Chris and Mike because they have my business for life. read more

Professional, honest, curteous, reasonable! I have an old Land Rover, sigh, for anyone that knows cars, these beasts are often in the shop and expensive to fix. I avoid the dealership as often as possible, but many auto shops want nothing to do with these vehicles. Then I found Advanced Auto Systems, they have often done free OBD meter readings for me, and if service is needed it is affordable and done in a timely and thorough fashion. Dropped my car off for a really bad screeching sound. They did a once over inspection right away to give us an estimate and found a rock in my brake pad. They removed the rock and fixed the problem, and then didn't even charge us for labor! We walked out paying nothing! Excellent, straight up service. I had taken my car here for the first time a year ago after being told my car required $7000 in repairs at Wilsonville Toyota. Needless to say, that wasn't the case. After a year, I have had no troubles with any of the work I had done. I continue to take my car there for routine oil changes/maintenance and am happy to do so.
