Clark Auto has been helping me out for over two years now and I am continually impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the amount of inventory they carry on the premises. Which is saying a lot because for a long time I was not a fan of the NAPA Auto Parts stores but it seems they have made some improvements over the years. Some good reasons why I like this place: 1. They keep their prices at a reasonable level, unlike Baxter's these days. 2. I have watched them serve women there and they do it with patience and understanding. Some women are intimidated by parts stores and rightly so, they can be. Unlike Schucks, these guys don't make women feel intimidated. 3. They give you at least a 7% discount just for showing your AAA Card, sometimes more. Unlike Mike's or Carquest. 4. They are easy to find** Since I was in the business so long I don't normally Yelp a parts store, I am usually too critical and feel like I can do everyone's job there better than they can. Clark's doesn't make me feel that way. ** Yelp shows them on the wrong side of the street on the map!

Even though I did not purchase my cover from this shop, the store manager Jason was super friendly, listened and validated my concerns and went above and beyond to answer all my questions - also provided solutions as to who I could contact. He took time and diligence to look up details about my product and was VERY knowledgeable about the process and products. I can only imagine the level of customer service and support that you would get if you are a purchasing customer! I would drive to Oregon just to give these folks my business. The women working the desk who I come to find out is a owner told me that I should buy the Bakflip as it is the best on the market. What a LIE that is. She probably just makes better margins on it. The BakFlip cover is complete crap. The weather proofing on both sides do not lay flat and causes a ton of water to run in. The reason to buy the cover to was to keep the water out. The water has ruined many of my items. I figured maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the way I closed it, but after continuous issues I decided in May 2024 to have the issue addressed. The cover moves left to right and when I brought it back in to get into a different brand they told me wow.... everyone likes this and we have never seen that before. You can also lift up a side with it being "latched" and get into the back of the truck. NOT VERY SAFE FOR EXPENSIVE ITEMS BACK THERE! They decided to contact Bakflip via email and told me to wait and see what they say. I was told I would be called a few days after I first came in, instead I called back 2x over 2 weeks to finally get an answer. Come to find out Bakflip told them tough they are not doing a warranty on it. I brought my truck in again because they said they would try and tighten a few things but instead wanted to continue to be resistant to a replacement or a fix. I do not even want my money back I want to be moved into the original one I wanted to buy when I first came to the store. They should have taken pictures and sent them to Bakflip and fought to get a replacement OR get me into a different brand! As a business owner myself if a customer has a VALID issue with a product I sold them I replace it, exchange it, or make it right. NONE of which Tualatin Truck Accessories would do, want to do, or even try to do. They are VERY defensive and unwilling to work with you. We just got into a yelling argument with their lack of care they give to the situation. All they seem to care about is selling the item and never dealing with it again. I will NEVER do business with them again. Do yourself a favor and find a different shop to get your accessories. Now I am stuck with a $1300 cover that does not do what it is intended to do.

    I had a bed liner put into my 2012 F-150 here (10/'13). The installation was of good quality, quick…read moreand their communication was good. Unfortunately i was not able to fully empty my bed before taking my truck in. I had the splash guard for my wife's car in the back, a $110 piece of plastic. When I gave them the keys, they asked what I wanted to do with it, I said to throw it back in when they were done. Long story short, I did not notice the absence of the splash guard when i picked up the truck later that day (distracted by my shiny new liner i guess). I called them the next day and asked if they could locate it and I'd come get it. 2 Days passed and I didn't hear anything, after being transferred to the manager on at the time they informed me it had been thrown away, their mistake, and they would reimburse me. No problem, mistakes happen and gave them my address. I had to get them the receipt, which took a couple days to find and scan to them, but then I expected a check within a week. After 7 phones calls and 3 months, I still did not have my check. I was fairly angry, but later learned the company had gone through some changes and there were new owners, however at the time I did not know that. They seemed very unorganized and untrustworthy. I forgot for a while, but contacted them again (late Jan. '14), the new owners responded quickly and got me a check within a few days. It seems like the new ownership is more organized and was willing to make up for the previous owners mistakes. For this reason I give them 4 stars. I can not speak to the quality of product for the new ownership, but if it is anything like the old owners it is excellent.

This time, looking for a slide in/out cargo bed for my pickup, I had a different experience. It's not that I received bad service or the quality of what I bought was bad, rather how a situation was handled. As stated, I went to their shop and got a price for the cargo bed. I was quoted a bid of $1330 installed and received it in writing. I decided I would purchase it from them and have them install it. We set a time and since they didn't have it in stock I had to return a couple of days later for the installation. No problem. The next day I received a call from them. They couldn't sell it to me for that price. The person helping me in the store made a mistake and quoted me the wrong price. The new price was $489 more. That's almost half again what they first quoted me. Now I'm not saying that mistakes don't happen but having been a business owner, I've learned that when you make a mistake on a quote, you stick with it. You may not make your profit margin on that item but you do what you have to in order to make the customer happy. In this case they said they couldn't give it to me for less and basically left it up to me to buy it or refuse it. Since I'd looked at the prices on line I knew that $1819 was still a good price but it irked me that a business wouldn't stand behind their quote. Since they didn't even have it in stock there was no flooring cost involved. And, as they didn't tell me they were giving it to me for their cost I'm assuming they still made a profit. A quoted price, a bid, is a matter of trust and they didn't honor their bid. I feel this trust was broken. I wonder if them making a profit on this sale was worth losing a customer? I won't return there regardless of how nice the people were because I'd hate to one day only find out there was a different price presented to me after an installation was done.
