I ordered the triple pepper pizza they said it was hot and spicy I had to add crushed red peppers to increase the heat but again servers were great and pizza came out hot I'll be back but there draft selection could be better in my opinion especially when called the brewhouse!! read more

I'm basing my review solely on the bar pizza, which is what my husband and I regularly come here for. It's easily one of the best on the south shore (and I've had most of them). The dough is thin but still has that fluffy/crispy taste of thicker dough. It's always cooked perfectly with a slight crunch and no flop no matter the amount of toppings. Our go-to pizzas are a half cheese/half pepperoni and a brewhouse hawaiian (pastrami, bacon, pineapple). In the past we've ordered a banana pepper and pancetta pizza, which was to die for! I can't wait to get it again. The atmosphere is casual and as dive-barish as you can get (but we love these comfy joints!). The service has always been friendly and attentive. If you're into bar pizza, I highly recommend giving this place a try! read more

We eat out a fair amount, searching for the best bar pizza and decided to give Braintree Brewhouse a try. It was a total mistake, no greeting from the bartender and one other staff member, no obvious place to sit other than the bar that was half full. It didn't get better. Apparently they don't have coffee? And we waited at least 10 minutes with the menu while the bartender was on her phone, refilling her customers beer, doing keno, etc, and ignoring us like it was her job. The apathy was real. We even asked if we could order and she went over to her phone again. Of course when we left without ordering she was incredulous and petty, getting other customers involved instead of any attempt at fixing the situation. Meh. Getting heckled by a bunch of dudes drinking on their lunch break is not our jam, I was actually really hungry and excited to try their pizza. I'm assuming she felt we should've waited until she was ready. If you read my other reviews, we eat out A LOT and rate places pretty highly. We totally get how challenging it is to be in this industry and enjoy being a part of it and decided to try something new. My advice, skip this place, get back on the highway and drive further south to some absolutely wonderful restaurants. read more

It's like a casino and a strip club had a baby and they added bar pizza. Black walls and no clocks so time flies when betting on Malaysian miniature horse races on the like 100 flat screen TVs. Wicked cold draft beer service is delivered to your table after losing hundreds on keno. read more

I hate to give 1 star but it's gotta be done. Yeah, their bar pizza is good. The bartenders are friendly. The place is clean. But... and a big but: they kicked my friend and I out for "standing up kinda funny" to go to the bathroom. After asking how we were getting home, and us truthfully responding that we both uber'd there. Really? Is this not an establishment that solely exists to serve alcohol and take money? Try and be responsible and polite and Uber and be lowkey all night and get rewarded by cutting us off? Felt to me like there was some undercover guy in the background scoping us out because we aren't local townies or something. Weird stuff. Im a grown a$$ man being responsible and taking an Uber out to the bar on a Friday night and not insulting or acting disrespectful or nothing. Just having my drinks and my pizza and chillin... and this is how you do us? Are you in trouble for people getting dui's after leaving your place or something? Makes no sense. The food was alright, the fries were fantastic. However the drinks were TERRIBLE for a bar, watered down to high hell and they cut me off after three drinks ! Right after I asked for my drink to be stronger the bartender told me she couldn't give eme anymore and that it would be 1 drink an hour from that point on. Would not recommend this place. read more

Went in on a random Friday afternoon in October. Plastic barrier separates barstaff from patrons (COVID protocol). My server was super friendly and acknowledged me right away. Heard they were known for their bar pizza, so I ordered a plain cheese. Felt overdone with a hard cheese top and even harder dough and crust. Maybe it was an off pizza, so could revisit. Again, my server was attentive and friendly, COVID protocols were meticulously followed, bar seating was clean as was the bathroom. Just wish the pizza was on point. read more

Went to brewhouse at 10 pm on9-9-22.had 2 beers with my wife and son and friend.dj playing good dance/rap music.my friend asked him if he could play aerosmith.dj said yes.10 minutes later dj came to where we were sitting and said to my friend"2 weeks ag o you called me nigger".you need to leave.told the bartenders same thing.we had to leave.total fabrication by the dj because I heard the aerosmith request and my friend was with me at another place at least 6 previous weeks .....dj made up this whole story because of 1 aerosmith request...the dj was big and imposing so don't request a song or be shamed.crazy. read more

This bar is so disappointing. It's like somebody put lots of time and money into it, but quit halfway through the process. It would be easy to fix this place. It's beautiful inside. Tons of TVs. Everything looks new. Large area with space to move around. But there are 2 major problems. 1 - They need to serve real food. All they have is pizza and like 2 or 3 cold sandwiches. In my opinion, the pizza is severely lacking flavor, but to be fair, some other friends do like it. Even if you're not going to have a full menu, have some apps. Nachos, mozzarella sticks or something. You need some type of variety. 2 - The bartenders are awful. I've been there twice, with different bartenders working and it's been the same situation. They never ask if you need another drink. They never look at you. They just keep walking by. You have to be very aggressive to get their attention. The bar is losing lots of business because of this. I've spent hours there watching the games and I know our group's bill would have been double or maybe even triple if the bartenders put out the slightest effort. These issues aren't tough to correct, so maybe some day this bar will be good. But it's been open for long enough whereas these things should have already been fixed by now. There's other minor things like the fact that there's no sign and the place is almost impossible to find. And although there's dozens of TVs, they only show the Red Zone channel and maybe 2 real games. They also have tons of fans spinning and blast the AC until the customers are shivering. I want to like this place. They built a great looking bar, but I can't go back again. Why go to a bar where it's tough to get a drink and there's no food menu? read more

The food is really good, especially the pizza. I was a frequent customer pre pandemic. However, I am not comfortable eating there now as the waitresses do not wear masks. The last few times I have been here, there have been three different waitresses not wearing masks. The bartender sometimes wears one, sometimes not. They do not even have them around their necks or make any pretense that they wear them. The waitress was inches away from us talking and serving food with no mask. It kind of freaked me out, but I didn't want to say anything because the person I was with is friends with the owner. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke so I went again to meet my brother, and it was the same situation. We ended up leaving. The third time I went to pick up a friend who needed a ride and again no masks. I am amazed that this has been going on for months and no one seems to care. Although the food is good, I am just not comfortable eating there at this point. I don't really understand how they can stay open when they are so clearly violating protocols. Obviously, they have friends in high places because my brother said he reported them and nothing happened. It's just unfair to all the other restaurants that are killing themselves to to doing the right thing, and this place does whatever they want. read more

This place is confusing. There are a lot of elements that scream dive bar- like the black painted walls that make you think you aren't meant to be here during daylight and wouldn't want to be and the many many promotional items that are being used for decor- think Johnny Walker mirrors. There is a big oval bar in the center and a lot of stools around it. Not a ton of space to move around people. They offer a full selection of alcohol- but everyone was drinking beer. Their draft selection was seriously lacking. I thought that this was a "Brewhouse"? There are a few high top square tables for small groups to socialize around but no waitresses so you have to go up to the bar and wait to order. They do have food (other than pizza) and a few of my friends got pizza which I did not partake in whereas it did not look yummy. There was left over pizza uneaten- which never happens with this group. I had a Stoli Vanilla and Diet Coke($6) pretty much just to see how the pour was- and it was good and a Bud Lite ($3). They had Corona but no Corona lite- weird. My friends were happy with the $3 beers and the good amount of tv's. There were a few dart boards up front- pretty much right when you walk in the door to the left- watch out! I can't picture myself playing darts in the front of the bar. It was a little difficult to walk in and out of the establishment whereas many patrons were sitting on the entrance/exit stairs "smoking butts". There was really no other place for them to go though whereas the bar is located in a parking lot. I just cant really figure out exactly what this place is going for- not a sports bar, not a restaurant, not classy... Maybethey should rename to the Braintree Confusehouse. read more

We had a great experience at this pub. It has a great atmosphere and lots of TVs. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. The BEST part of our experience was the bartender, Silvia. It is Super Bowl Sunday so the bar was full. Silvia was the only bartender working. She was very attentive and friendly. We never had to wait for service. As soon as our food came out of the kitchen, she got it to us. She really seems to enjoy her job and she really makes a BIG impact on the customer service. This review is based on the pizza only!!! Short and sweet, the pizza is not good. Pizza sauce as a rule is fairly sweet, and this no exception. To offset this pizza crust best with a slight yeast taste this gives a balanced platform to build on. The Brewhouse's pizza crust is sweetened. This absolutely destroys any balance. By the time you are halfway through it just becomes a cumbersome mess, the funny thing is it is COOKED really well. You wanna dive right back in after every slice, but it never gets better. read more
