Hi Suleiman, This is me replying to your reply because it wouldn't let me. I understand that fills are standard practice in the nail industry when done correctly, but my concern was never simply being recommended fills, it was the condition of my nails and the quality of the application over time. If the fills had been properly applied and maintained, they should not have lifted so easily to the point where moisture and water could get trapped underneath. Multiple nail professionals have told me that lifting significantly increases the risk of fungal or bacterial growth. I also want to address the removal process. Removing nails by prying them off with another fake nail is damaging and not considered proper removal technique. A proper soak-off should always be done to protect the natural nail, even if it takes longer. My nails were left extremely thin and damaged afterward, which is not something that should happen with safe removal practices. While I understand fungal infections can come from different sources, the timing of the infection along with the lifting and damage I experienced makes it hard for me not to question the quality of the application and removal process I received at your salon. I have never been disappointed. I walked in without an appointment and was promptly greeted by Nancy. Pedicures, manicures, and some waxing services are available. Nancy provided me with a relaxing, enjoyable experience this evening. I got a plain Jane, no-frills pedicure and manicure. I left with silky, smooth hands and feet and perfectly manicured toes and fingers. I'm sure all the technicians are great, but Nancy hit it out of the park tonight. This is the WORST nail salon I've ever been to! Do not come here. If this is your last resort jus go home. I asked for (first pic) and came out with (last pic). They TRIED to charge me $70!!! I said absolutely not especially when yall fill ins are $40.. $30 extra for this??? Please... First of all this is not 100% what I wanted and the guy that did my nails didn't even wanna try and accommodate me and was being rough with me after the fact! Second he did such a half a ** job! The lines are wonky, I had to tell him to fix my nails too many times because they weren't even and I can still see some of the the color from my last set because he didn't file all of it off... never stepping foot in this place again. Edit: To the owner who obviously didn't read my review. I understand you may think that your employees are doing their job but this day they were NOT. Like I said the guy who did my nails wasn't even tryin to give me the color I wanted and was being rough with me so I think it's safe to say that prices weren't communicated. I've been here a few times. The first time was a good impression, I was happy with the service. Now the second time was a little different.. Let me start by saying they do not sanitize or use safety precautions when it comes to using clean towels or even clean tools. The man doing my nails attempted to use a dirty towel and I had to tell him to get a clean one. I got a manicure here yesterday and regret tipping after seeing how poor the result looked by the next day. There are visible scuff marks, one fingertip had a prominent ridge, and the overall finish looked uneven rather than smooth and polished. The cuticle work and edges also looked rough and lacked attention to detail. I do not expect perfection, but I do expect a professional manicure to look clean for more than a day. I called and asked if they have enough techs to do 3 people's pedicure. The lady said yes of course what time will you be here. It took me 20 minutes to get here. Just for two people able to serve us. They didn't say anything in the beginning. Sat us all down and pretending we were going to get pedicures done. Well only two of us did and they planned the third person will get done when other person will get done. Very unprofessional. If I knew the service would be like that I wouldn't drive here. I could go to the salon which is only few miles away from my house and get same crappy inconsiderate service. Please learn to be honest with your customers. Your customers time is valuable to them. On the top of them not having three techs. I paid $65 for pedicure with paraffin or gel polish signature. In the description it says there is an 8 minute massage, instead of doing it at the end, the tech handed my daughter the packet of massage lotion to take home. My acrylic nails were getting old and breaking so I came in to BQ nails to have the tech take them off completely. I am starting a remodeling construction project and it was futile to replace them since they were all going to get broken off anyway. So she worked to soak, file and eventually get the old acrylic nail material off. Then she put a few coats of gel polish to strengthen my natural nails. She did a great job. I'm not one to leave reviews, but I will never be coming back. From the start, I asked for dip, and she kept pushing acrylic instead, saying dip would break. I felt pressured. The worst part was the removal process. Instead of soaking off my dip properly, she used a fake nail to pry it off. My nail beds were extremely sensitive, and I was visibly uncomfortable the entire time. When I asked if she could soak them off, she said it would take too long and continued anyway, I left with sore nails. The pain was completely uncomfortable and avoidable.... Proper nail care should never involve rushing at the expense of a client's comfort. I should have walked out then. If you care about nail health, hygiene, or being listened to as a customer, I would not recommend this place. read more

People were friendly and easy to talk with however my tech forgot my massage with my pedi (I paid for the middle type For the five minutes massage but got no massage at all). My nail tech for whatever reason kept trying to do a shape On me I didn't request. I corrected her and they still ended up a weird round mess instead Of the almond shape I wanted . After I complained twice and she didn't listen I didn't say anything else as it was my cousins birthday and I didn't want to keep pushing . I asked about the massage but the lady must've misunderstood what I was asking and didn't mention not doing my massage until I was heading out. Overall I just feel super disappointed as I came here specifically for the good reviews. I made an appointment and came in at 10am this morning. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted (gel or a full set) but I told the man who seated me that I was looking for a natural looking set. When my nail tech asked what I wanted, I explained that I wanted something natural. She asked if I wanted a nude or pink base and she demonstrated it on a nail for me (which was nice) but I explained that neither looked natural to me and that I preferred the regular powder. She tried to convince me to go with the nude, but I informed her that I'm military, and there are specific regulations about what we can have, and that look wouldn't be considered natural looking. She proceeded with the set, but the service felt very rushed. She didn't engage with me at all and talked with her colleague which is whatever but the overall service felt a bit dismissive. I wanted a short square shaped nail and I wanted it sharp but I think she filed them too much and they weren't as sharp to my liking. I also mentioned that my index finger nail was a bit crooked and she replied it was not the nail, it was my finger which came across a bit rude. For the top coat, I asked for clear, but she continued trying to convince me to add a light coat pink color. The staff assisted in looking for a color I didn't ask for. Since she's the professional, I agreed to see how it looked. Unfortunately, the color ended up being very pastel pink, which wasn't what I was looking for at all. I asked to switch back to clear, and she sighed and seemed annoyed. I could tell they were talking about me right after that incident. The nails themselves are okay for the price ($50 plus $10 tip) but the overall experience wasn't great. The entire full set took about 40 minutes, which I don't mind, but I wish more care and attention had been put into the nails. Overall, the service felt rushed, and it seemed like my request for a natural appropriate set was more of an inconvenience than something they wanted to accommodate. The salon IS Nice & Clean, the lady at the front was welcoming & kind as I entered. Gave my name, as I called after viewing their social media ad, for an afternoon appointment. After being seated in the chair, the vibe like switched, they lady seemed less friendly, walked away for a few minutes came back with a small bottle water & color swatches & books, saying nothing & walked away again. The entire nail service was just "off" after giving my name. I felt rushed even though only a few other clients in the entire salon. For my fresh set of gel nails she had to remove the old. She moved so quickly when trimming cuticles and shaping; I winced, took my hand back. The second time I winced she gave me sorrowful look and apologized. She moved quickly, handling my fingers a little rough and my cuticles felt sore after leaving. My nails looked fantastic when I left. Day two 1st chip. Okay, I'm mad but probably knocked my nail on something. Not a big deal. Few days later, chipped, worse were a piece of dip it self chipped out. By the end of nearly two weeks; major lifting at cuticle end, chips and peeling at nail tips, And down one full gel nail. Gone. Could coupon having something to do with it? Not sure. To make things worse, when she asked for a nicer design and some premium options, she was dismissed and told she "couldn't afford it." They didn't even try to hide the discrimination. It was humiliating, racist, and completely unprofessional. She walked in to feel pampered like anyone else, and instead left feeling dehumanized and unwelcome. I've been coming here for a few years, this last time I went the lady didn't glue down my whole nail, I came back when they requested it. I didn't pay for it but they took every shortcut to fix it. They wanted to glue my nail down instead of replacing it. It was already half off. I had French tips and the man that took over for the lady painted over my clear nails with pink so now I have pink in top of white. Just okay. I came here because of the great reviews. The 1st time I had a great girl, I couldn't quite hear her name something like "Lee"? On my manicure she cleaned up my nails and gave this shoulder/arm massage, along with the hands, which was heavenly all for the regular gel mani price around $35. Unfortunately the only issue I had was only a week in and 3 of my nails had the gel polish lifting up already by the cuticle. I held out as long as I could before I had to remove it. 2nd time I can back about a month later trying to give this place another shot, got another gel mani, different girl. She spent a whole 5 seconds of massage on each hand that's it and she didn't even clean up the excess globs of polish on the sides of my nail, just felt rushed and I pray these don't start lifting too. You're also in a rotated position which was uncomfortable and led to uneven polish application that was bumpy. All this I can look past however my shellac manicure chipped on day 3. That's unacceptable and has never happened to me before anywhere else in years of getting gel manicures. Both Kim and Ken asked me a lot of questions to make sure that I got the look I wanted. They were both very detailed oriented and this is the best fill that I have had in quite a long time. And there were so many color options for the gel polish! I was extremely happy with the shape and color. Kim and Ken really took their time and the hard work shows. While my fill was being done I also got a pedicure. I didn't catch the name of the lady doing my pedicure but she also did a great job making sure that the pedicure package I selected was done well and that my nail shape and color were just as nice as that of my manicure. I just got back from my 2nd visit to BQ Nails & am so happy! This is definitely my new go-to spot. I went in earlier this week for a pedicure and the experience was great. Came back today for a manicure (full set with dip) and I am so happy with my nails. Kenny did my manicure and he was awesome. Can't recommend this place enough! Now I normally come to this Salon and they always do an amazing job. However, I jus came in to do a pedicure and had told the service provider that I have ingrowns that are very deep and I can feel them when I walk. She proceeds to cut around it (which is my skin) and doesn't get to it. I'm sitting in the chair for about 15 min and she states that there isn't anything there. I know how an ingrown feels like, I workout all the time and am on my feel all day due to my job. I told her to stop cutting because she obviously was not getting to it. And on top of that I asked to stop the nail painting because I was just over it by then, so no finished service. I'm not the one to write review in general but this one I had to.
