Yummy and delicious and huge portions! Great for breakfast and brunch. Cappaccino and espresso! I had the grouper sandwich and this is my only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the grouper was way over seasoned and I hardly could enjoy it. Everything else was delicious. They also had a special strawberry basil lemonade made there with chunks of basil and strawberry; delicious and refreshing. Can't wait to come back and try the Bloody Mary meal. read more

Boynton Diner - Grouper sandwich meal. Fries were delicious - Diners Near Me - Boynton Beach, Florida

Poor service ,waitress don't really help each other out, only to run food they have no one to clean off tables and the wait time on the food is a bit long but food is ok at best . The prices are very high a glass of OJ is $6.95 and a cup of cheese grits is $7.70 which that price alone could probably buy you 3 bags of grits from Publix . The Boynton Dinner has gone why down hill but the prices have gone sky high . I could just imagine what the lunch menu cost. Needless to say we probably will not be back anytime soon if at all . The bill was like getting sticker shock for two people $62.87 Lol read more

The diner would not let my mom in with her service dog who has his service dog vest on. She has strokes, diabetes and PTSD and he is able to alert to all of those. They said they needed proof he was a service dog with a "card". When she asked them what "card" that would be the lady said she didn't know she would have to go check on her phone. There is no service dog registry and the ADA explicitly states there is no "papers" or anything for a service dog. You are not required to show any papers to prove they are a service dog. I had also just picked her up from the hospital and she even had a hospital bracelet on. Dear management: make yourselves educated. You are not allowed to discriminate because of trained service animals. https://www.ada.gov/regs2010/service_animal_qa.html https://www.ada.gov/archive/qasrvc.htm read more

DOG FOOD! When it comes to TERRIBLE OWNERS this restaurant takes the cake. I pity the servers and the rest of the Staff for putting up with his immaturity as They are the only ones that get hurt (Tips). I ordered burnt hash browns, burnt corned beef hash and soft poached eggs, along with multigrain toast, uncut and unbuttered. As you can see from the photos, the food the cook (owner) created doesn't even resemble what I ordered. The toast never arrived, the corned beef hash was milky like he just opened the can and plopped It on the plate without even heating it up. The burned Hash Browns I ordered turned into, barely cooked chunky potato pieces. The eggs, while actually being eggs, were over cooked. A total disaster!!!!! The Manager was the one who served the food so she wasn't aware of how it was ordered until I let her know. She arrived back with the same plate a minute later to advise that the owner said 'Tell the customers to eat what I cooked because he's too busy to correct his mistake" REALLY???? Is he that back ass ignorant to send a Manager in a mercy mission to infer that I should eat what he wants to make, not what I ordered? We've been customers of this restaurant for many years and the manager referenced that too. The owner/cook just doesn't give a damn about his own restaurant, and certainly not his customers! When the food is served, as ordered it can be good. Overpriced, but good. Unfortunately the uhh, food or whatever it was that was presented to me, I wouldn't even serve it to my dog I've even overlooked the many Health Board Violations he's had over the years. He just does t seem to learn what it takes to operate a successful restaurant. Before I would ever consider coming back to this restaurant, it would have to be with a new owner. This one needs to start over at a McDonalds or a similar place, where he can't screw the order up. If you're busy, hire more staff. It's simple! Don't be a skinflint. You're in a service business so start serving the customer. While the weekends may be busy, you're Restaurant is empty during the week. Likely because other area restaurant like Green Owl, Ellie's Diner and Sandies restaurant are Killing it every day. We, and the people we have referred to here will never be back! read more

Service was good and the staff was nice - yet the food was not very good at all. Not sure if I'll go back might give it another chance .

My husband took me to the Boynton diner for breakfast. Even though it is close to our house we had never tried it before. The interior is welcoming and clean. The tin tiles on the ceiling are reminiscent of an old fashioned diner. Being from NJ, I really miss the taste of Taylor Ham/Pork Roll. They have it here and they also have scrapple; two things that are almost impossible to find in our area! They also offer half portions which are more than enough. Making our visit even better was our server, Alexa. Her outgoing personality and attention to detail were amazing. Do yourself a favor and give the Boynton Diner a try. You'll be glad you did. read more

Where have I been before I came here? This diner lives right down the street from me and it's dangerous. The menu is loaded with great breakfast goodies and you'll explode when you leave from here. I was torn between the smores cakes and the new york cheesecake. The cheesecake was chosen. When it came out, I didn't expect a huge portion to be on my plate. I had enough for leftovers this morning for breakfast. So let's get back to the description of this meal. It consists of four mini french toast sandwiches filled with cheesecake filling topped with chocolate and caramel syrup. If this isn't heaven, I don't know what the hell it is then. I'm a debit card freak, so I made sure to get some cash beforehand since I wasn't about to pay a fee to use the atm they provided in the diner. It's cash only. read more

Came here for the first time for breakfast and was impressed with the ambiance and the welcoming, attentive and friendly service by Alexa. Went here for breakfast on a Wednesday two weeks back. Had coupon for buy one get one. Ordered the eggs, bacon and chocolate chip pancakes. Wife had eggs, bacon and banana nut pancakes. Food was very good but the breakfast specials really aren't specials. Coffee or tea is not part of the price and the reason I took off a star is because even with the coupon the check was $27. Without it check would have been close to $40 and frankly that's way too much for breakfast. I go to the Palm Diner for less than half the price for the two of us. I might go back because I have another coupon but I certainly wouldn't spend $40 on a weekly basis as I go out to the Palm every week. read more

My 2 daughters & I stopped by for lunch. Who knew they closed at 2 & we walked in at 1:15. When we found out we asked if they were still serving & was told absolutely. I ordered a Rachel, one daughter a Patty Melt & the other a Cobb salad with chicken. I had to search for sauerkraut & Swiss cheese. Tons of pastrami but unfortunately too tough to bite through. The Patty Melt had cheese which needed a magnifying glass to see but an inordinate amount of odorous red onions. The salad was fine. While trying to eat, the waitress was vacuuming around our table. We packed up the leftovers & left saying "one & done". Why did I take my sandwich home? Still couldn't bite through the pastrami. read more

The interior is super outdated and needs an overhaul which I don't understand cause they're always busy so they can definitely put some money back into the business. As far as the food come hungry cause you will have a bunch of food to put down. Great place for the rough mornings after a long night of fun. The difference is, is that the food is really good. If I wasn't trying to avoid having a big belly I would be here every weekend. read more

The nicest staff ever!!!! Food was very good, but it's the staff who made this place 5 stars.

Waitress Melisa got our order completely wrong and was clueless the entire time. My daughter didn't receive her meal at all, I never got my pancakes, my husband eggs didn't have the cheese That he requested, we didnt recieve the toast that came with the meals, a refill seemed out of the question. we waited an hour for things to be fixed and for the most part it never came. Then They still brought my daughter the wrong food, after asking for an omelet several times to each different worker. So finally after waiting an hour my child received her omelet, a flipped egg with barely melted cheese slapped on top. Then adding insult to injury the check came with extra items that we never asked for. This may Have been the worst service I've had in my entire life. We have Literally no reason to ever return here, especially with the diner on gateway operating so much more professionally. read more

My wife and I had not been there in a long time. We were in the area and decided to give it try. It was crowded and the only table was inside near the kitchen service window and bar. A very friendly waitress came over to take our order. However she had stains down the front of her shirt and looked like she had just woke up. We could hear the cooks in the kitchen yelling at each other with profanities, dropping the F bomb everywhere and using the Lords name in vain. That's all it took for us to get up and walk out. We thought we were in a restaurant but turns out it was a was more of a scene out of Animal House. Never going back. read more

The food was shitty. The waitress was just nasty. It seemed like us ordering simple breakfast food was an inconvenience. I'm expecting to get food poisoning or the sh**s later. This has been our go-to breakfast place for almost 5 years. Its definitely my favorite! The food is great, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Your coffee cup will always be full because the service is excellent! They are open 365 days a year and have become a breakfast tradition on holidays. Corned beef hash like you've never had before, it's excellent! As is everything on the menu. Bring cash because they don't take plastic but they have an ATM. read more

Ordered breakfast. Home fries were horrible. Hard and tasteless. Scrambled eggs were tasteless. Sausage link poor quality. Very grizzly. One glass of orange juice was 6$ and it was the lowest brand you could buy. Dark and dingie inside. Cushion was missing on booth seat and back on one side. Very uncomfortable. Waitress Leslie was very nice. Will never revisit read more

Took my daughter who flew in from Nashville, we wanted a Local diner, I will never go back. Waited 2 long for service, first coffee was burnt! I hate that! So, u cross ur fingers, u ask 4 a second cup, the waitress, made a comment, " this is the freshest it gets ! " Couldn't drink it, so nasty! Good 4 them they didn't Charge me. We asked for hot Sauce, she never came back, the avocado was soooo hard we couldn't even cut w a fork, it was rubber. She only asked if everything was good, after we asked for the check. I will make a positive comment, friendly staff. BUT.... I do not recommend to anyone unless u like burnt coffee! read more

Heads up - this place is cash only. They do offer an ATM inside, however. I am huge on breakfast. Breakfast/brunch would definitely be my fav meal of the day. Boynton Diner is right around the corner from me and abundantly satisfies my breakfast need. They have a great specials menu that has crazy twists on breakfast staples. Smores style pancakes and french toast and modern ingredients added to eggs benedict certainly keep me happy (but not healthy). You should seriously checkout that menu on their website, it is insane. Also - bloody marys and mimosas are now offered. I just wish they took cash because that honestly dictates if I come here or somewhere else that accepts cards. read more

Here is my long over due review from Father's Day. My sister and I went here as it is close by and we heard good things about it. Due to my veganism I ordered a fruit plate, which was huge, and an order of potatoes. She ordered the special breakfast buffet they had that morning. The buffet had a variety of food. She had a nice sample of eggs, pancakes, biscuits, fruits, breakfast pizza, etc. She doesn't eat meat and mentioned that the guy in charge of the buffet was very helpful and told her what would be safe to eat. It was a fun and relaxed place to eat and I would go back there again. read more

This place was my go to breakfast spot. Massive portions... Really good multigrain bread. I discovered a custom omlette combination that resembles a philly cheese and it turned into an addiction ... It was almost a weekly tradition to grab it takeout for my girl and I ... Sausage, green pepper, onion, yellow American cheese. (The sausage is not how you would expect it to taste) Sadly I saw a sign posted on 01/17/2016 that they were "Closed for remodeling ...." Hopefully this isn't the end of the Boynton Diner... As I've seen this message at other local spots and they never returned. Update: REOPENED! read more

First of all, we had to wait 25 mins to be seated but half of the table inside were open. The food was t great at all. We had Spicy Spanish and Crab Florentine. We ate half of Spanish omelette and didn't even eat the crab cakes, they were horrible. Also the place looked kind of dirty, the restrooms doors are so dusty. I don't think I'd ever come back here. read more

A buddy suggested we go here for lunch...I wish we had driven past it. I looked over the menu and settled on a pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes. A little heavy for lunch but I'm sucker for good pot roast. Call me a sucker for ordering this one. I posted a pic of it. The presentation looked ok at first. The portions seemed huge and my eyes gave it a thumbs up for perceived value until I looked closer. Dark, dark brown gravy is usually a sign that the gravy wasn't made from the roast drippings. This one was made from a commercial beef base and was so salty it nearly made me choke. The pot roast was very tough, very stringy and way over salty as well. I had really wanted to like this place since it's close to where I work but alas, it was not to be. CASH ONLY here too. I don't mind cash only at the Dune Deck because the food there is to die for and the view of the ocean is fantastic but cash only here with a view of the parking lot and the frequent trains going by...not a good thing. I gave this review 2 stars based solely on our waitress, who was upbeat and polite even when serving us this sodium infused fare. I won't be back - au revoir Boynton Diner! read more

Disappointing. Upon arrival we walk up to the host stand--and she walks away. We wait about 15 minutes and then she comes and says oh your name is not on the list. So we give our name with other people that are arriving behind us. As we watch, they seem so unorganized and understaffed and and see people trying to get drinks refilled, get orders and bills paid. Based upon that, we just ended up leaving. read more

This diner's workers openly discriminate against people with disabilities. I went in with my trained service dog this morning, and the woman working the hostess stand refused to let me inside and said I could only sit outside with my dog unless he had "certification papers". I tried to explain to her that under the Americans with Disabilities Act, there is no certification or paperwork for service dogs, and that the business can only ask two questions. 1. Is that a service dog? 2. What tasks is the service dog trained to perform? She however, had an attitude and raised her voice that yes there are papers, and she has seen it online. This is a fake registry, as there is no federal registry in the United States for service dogs, and there is no requirement for registration under the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is like asking a person in a wheelchair to provide paperwork proving they need the wheelchair, it is absurd and highly ILLEGAL. Despite me explaining this multiple times, she continued to escalate and would not let me dine there. This is blatant discrimination, as you cannot separate individuals with disabilities to a separate area based on their medical equipment, that is segregation. I will never give my money to a business that refuses service to those with disabilities, and I hope you do the same. I hope they educate their workers on the laws, because discrimination is NOT okay. read more
