It's open Sunday through Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Thursday until 11:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 12:00 AM. This is one of those places I wouldn't go out of my way for, simply because the food itself is nothing special. My friends and I stopped in on Friday night and ordered bourbon bbq wings, cheesesteak egg rolls, French onion soup, a buffalo chicken calzone, and the Grove Burger with fries. The wings came out overcooked, the French onion soup wasn't broiled long enough to develop any color, the calzone lacked any real crisp, and the Cajun seasoning on the Grove Burger was dominated by black pepper, which overwhelmed everything else. If you live nearby and want to walk over for a drink, catch the game, or shoot some pool, I can see the appeal. Beyond that, it's not worth the trip.

It's open Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 7:00 PM. Even though it was the middle of the day, I still couldn't resist ordering breakfast. This time around I went with the Bacon Strip Wrap, packed with crispy bacon, American cheese, onion, and jalapeños. They were out of home fries, so I opted for hash browns instead. My friend ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a buttery-crisp croissant, served with hot, golden-brown French fries. All the food was well prepared, the staff was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I'm happy to see this place back in action.

They don't include utensils or condiments, and Uber Eats won't help either. I called the restaurant, and they just gave me a useless excuse about needing to select an option that doesn't even exist. Their only "solution" was to tell me to order something else next time so they could add utensils--seriously? I spent $27 on breakfast and couldn't even eat it properly. It's ridiculous that a takeout order doesn't come with the most basic essentials like utensils, salt, or pepper. This is the dumbest policy I've ever heard, and I won't be ordering from here again.

While waiting in Whitehall for my Jeep to be finished at the shop, I took the opportunity to stop in for lunch at my favorite diner. I started with the boneless BBQ wings, which came out hot, crispy, and perfectly sauced. Some of the best I've had in a long time. After the wings, I went for the Bing Bong chicken sandwich with French fries. The chicken was tossed in a spicy, sweet chili sauce and topped with lettuce and tomato. I wish the cutlet was a little thicker and crispier, but it was still a solid sandwich, and the fries were fresh. Service at Whitehall Diner has always been great, and this visit was no exception, with Marcos being personable and attentive from start to finish.

Joseph and his team arrived when promised and were cordial and helpful to all of our guests, especially to the older friends/family who needed some assistance. Everyone commented on both the quality of the food and the friendliness and overall helpfulness of the staff. HIGHLY recommended!!
