I made an appointment to see Dr. Ellen after rave reviews from a friend. I mean reviews that made me think Dr. Ellen is a MUST see! I scheduled my appointment and asked if I should bring anything with me and was told to just bring myself. In making the appointment I was asked for my email, gave it, and assumed it would be to send me a reminder about the appointment. I made my appointment and was excited because it would happen before the end of 2021 and since I had met my deductible, to me, this visit was almost free! A few days later I received a call that they had to reschedule my appointment due to the snow. I was offered an appointment in January and asked if they could see me before the tend of the year and was told that wasn't possible with Dr.'s schedule. Okay, fair enough. My new appointment was Wednesday, Jan. 5th. In the meantime, I started getting messages about filling out information about myself on their portal via email. I was never told about the portal but wanting to be compliant and spend (presumably) less time filling out the portal information in the office I worked to get it filled out before going to the appointment. Because we are in covid, life is crazy now and everything seems infinitely more complicated I didn't get to start the portal until the day of my appointment. Mind you I had received a few reminder emails to get it done. I called their office and left a message that I was going to be starting the portal information albeit a bit late, but would be attending my appointment, which was the same day. In starting the portal, I was prompted to upload front and back images of my driver's license -, my insurance card, and add in my SS#. I know a lot of this is required but wasn't very comfortable scanning it into a system to be saved. There are breaches of confidential information regularly, it seems. I called and left a message that I had concerns about the portal questions. There was no option to skip, come back to a section later, or not provide the information. I continued. I was soon asked to sign off on Dr. Ellen's office using a copy of my signature. There was no explanation as to why - and this was not something I'd ever been asked to give before, and it was NOT a statement to acknowledge my understanding of their policies and practices. It was not clear WHY it was needed but again there was no option to skip, come back later or not provide anything but "Yes, I agree." This seemed quite odd to me, and having anxiety I started to panic about what all this information was for, why was it needed and why didn't they tell me about this information being needed? I had already called twice and received no response. After deciding I HAD to give them permission to use my signature, I moved on to the allergy section. Being allergic to the glue on patch's I searched for this and could not find it. I also couldn't find a way to enter this information because it didn't fit into the menu on options on the drop-down menu. I was really starting to panic about what was this all about ...? Why wasn't there a space to enter information about allergies that didn't fit into their pre-chosen options? The next section was to allow them to send me communications marketing things that might be of interest to me (I believe through) some company they work with....no thank you. I realized I was not going to be able to make this appointment. My appointment was at 2:00 PM. Nothing was making sense except they were not good at communicating what they needed me to do, and this was too much stress and anxiety for me. I was frozen - in a panic - couldn't get myself to the appointment and felt the only option was to go to sleep. I had to escape. Making a phone call in a panic attack is not an option. I received a voicemail at 2:30 PM after my appointment from Angie letting me know I missed my appointment; she'd be charging me the $100 missed appointment fee and to call back and reschedule. There was no mention of my call asking for more information about having concerns about the portal questions. It was becoming clear this office was only focused on the bottom line, they choose money over patient communication and wellbeing. Okay, feeling like I could handle a phone call and wanting to find a way to make it work so I could see Dr. Ellen, I called her office the next day. I spoke to Angie and explained that I'd had a panic attack, that I have incredible anxiety, that the information requested on the portal was confusing at best, could they drop the $100 charge if I rescheduled. She indicated this was okay, to hang on and she'd get my file. When she returned a few minutes later she told me she could not remove the $100 charge because I had acknowledged the no-show fee and didn't call. I told her of course I didn't call, I was having a panic attack. (see photos)

BEFORE seeing Dr. Ellen Derrick, bulging veins on the front of my leg showed up after I had my second baby.

I've been a client of Siobhan's for 21 years now (I know, she looks like she's maybe )! If that…read moredoesn't speak to how good she is at what she does, then I don't know what would! I've had several laser hair removal treatments (I'm one of the lucky people with extremely stubborn hairs and a lot of them). I haven't had to do any touch ups and it's been over 8 years since I've finished treatments. I've been receiving tattoo removal treatments for a couple of years now (not nearly as consistently as I should though)! The two that she has been treating have faded considerably. Both were very old and very dark and I didn't have much hope that they would lighten very much. Boy was I wrong. They have faded so much that some of the line work has disappeared completely. Initially I went into it just hoping that she could lighten them up enough to have coverup pieces done over them. At this rate, they might actually be completely removed! Amazing. Today I just received my first IPL session to correct redness and some melasma. I expected it to be uncomfortable (it was not at all). She prepared me that it may feel like a minor sunburn afterwards and I may notice some redness and swelling. It's been several hours and I haven't experienced any of those things. Siobhan is basically magical at what she does. All of these treatments are an investment for sure, but laser treatments are definitely not where you want to skimp. ALCOS is competitively priced and I wouldn't go anywhere else. These women know what they are doing and are always professional and knowledgeable in every treatment that they offer.

I scheduled an appointment for IPL consultation. Prior to the consultation, I received numerous…read moretext messages, phone calls, and emails asking me questions that would be asked during a consultation. The provider determined I would not be a good candidate prior to treatment. To my dismay, I learned this clinic attempted to charge me an $85 cancellation fee for not following through with their "treatment" (extremely predatory practice, especially since I said I'd contact my dermatologist for medical advice before moving forward with any treatments). Seattle Aesthetic Laser is trying to falsely claim I "cancelled" my appointment, or didn't show up, when nothing could be further from the truth. I engaged in extensive consultative dialogue with the provider spanning the course of DAYS. The only way I could get out of the cancellation fee is by agreeing to a different form of treatment their clinic offers (surprise, surprise). Obviously, I told my card issuer to reject the charge as fraudulent, but on principle, a respectable clinic would never treat patients this way or try this scam.

My first impression of the facility was that it was clean and reminded me a little of Scandinavian style with light wood finishes and simple, classy design. There was a cozy place with chairs and a couch and a fireplace to lounge in, with turmeric ginger tea, strawberry water, regular water, and a few snacks (I didn't have any, I think it was nuts and dried fruit?). The locker room was spacious with a sauna, two huge showers, two toilets, and a changing area with lockers. some toiletries were provided as well. I appreciated that the lockers had a keypad so I didn't have to carry around a key. You can change in the changing area, but if you want more privacy, you are encouraged to go behind the door of the shower, where there's plenty of room to change. The sauna was nice and hot. Loved it. We both opted for the Om package which included a facial and a massage with one enhancement of choice. I have to say, the massage tables here are the most comfortable ones I've ever experienced. They are heated for your comfort, although they can turn off the heat if you run hot. My massage with Allison was lovely and super relaxing. Afterwards, I was brought back to the lounge area where I met up with my friend again and waited for my facial. The aesthetician, Kat, immediately gave off warm and friendly vibes, and I knew right away that she was going to be great. Her recommendations were spot on and her technique was fantastic. Again, so relaxing and I wish I didn't have to leave. Hands down the best facial I have ever experienced. We were allowed to check in an hour prior to our appointments and stay as long as we wanted it afterwards We ended up staying and talking for a couple more hours and enjoying the atmosphere. Every single person we encountered was kind, helpful, and seemed happy to be there. They have product recommendations at the end, but no hard upsell which I appreciated. I will 100% return. My friend and I both loved every minute of our day today.

Howevr my facial experience was kind of ok, nothing amazing to talk about. For the price they charge I feel like it's a a basic facial and kind of felt quick. The main desk lady specifically asks if you want to a 20% tip for the therapist instead of letting you make the choice on the device in private.I found that kind of tacky, it's an expensive service as it is and customers should be allowed to select what they would like to tip. Can't really recommend based on my experience.

Dear Allure Esthetic Team,…read more I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional care I received during my recent surgery and post-op care. I would like to extend my thanks to Dr. Sajan, Dr. Khezri, Chansotie, Tina, and Shelby for their professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Dr. Sajan was very honest with me about what I could expect from my surgery and made sure I had a realistic goal for my physical results. He was professional, caring, kind, and funny throughout the process. Dr. Khezri was also kind, caring, and funny. My sister mentioned that he stayed with the staff and waited until I was in the care of my sister before he left to go home for the night. Chansotie and Tina at the Kirkland office were both very helpful before and after the surgery. They were knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Shelby at the Seattle office was so sweet, kind, helpful, and understanding. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and I wish she would have been at every one of my post-op appointments. I am only a couple of weeks out of surgery and am pleased with my results thus far. I came to Dr. Sanjan from another state to fix a prior breast lift and mini tummy tuck. I will update you during my process. Thank you again for your exceptional care. I would highly recommend Allure Esthetic to anyone seeking medical care. Surgical team: Dr Sajan, Dr.Khezri (anesthesia), Chansotie (nurse), Tina (PA). Post-op care: Shelby (MA) Sincerely, Danika Bowman

Bellevue Laser and Cosmetic Center - 5 months after my last treatment

I previously left a poor review last year because nearly every visit resulted in waiting at least…read more15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. The manager replied at the time, acknowledging the issue and saying they were "fine-tuning appointment durations" and making adjustments. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to try again this year. To be clear, the front desk staff and nurses have always been friendly and professional--no complaints there. During this most recent visit, they explained their internet was down, so I tried to be understanding. My appointment was at 11:50, but I wasn't called back until about 20 minutes later. After a brief conversation with the nurse, I changed into my gown and then waited another 15 minutes before the doctor (Andrea Jones) came in. She didn't apologize for the delay--just said, "Hi, thanks for your patience, welcome back." After waiting roughly 40 minutes past my appointment time, I expected a bit more acknowledgment, but I let it go. This was an annual skin exam. Dr. Jones asked about a mole on my cheek that had been bothering me last year, so I explained that I had it removed by another dermatologist a few months after my last appointment with her. I told her the area didn't completely smooth out after being shaved off, but that I wasn't eager to go through another cutting-and-healing process unless there was a less invasive option, like laser. She confirmed there wasn't, and said punching it out might be the best option. Somewhere in the conversation, things seemed to get lost in translation. I said I was tired of dealing with it, and she took that as me agreeing to another procedure. She then told me it would cost $750 since it was cosmetic. I was confused because I never said I wanted a procedure done. After we cleared that up, she responded: "Oh, then why are we even talking about this? We're just wasting our time talking about something you're not interested in treating." Like, I'm sorry--I'M wasting YOUR time?? Talk about RUDE. She had asked about my cheek, and I was simply answering her question. I never said I wasn't interested in improving it--only that I didn't want another surgical cut. That is not an appropriate way to speak to a patient. We continued with the skin exam. She mentioned my scalp looked irritated, so I explained the recent issues I'd had (acne flare-ups, scalp psoriasis, etc.). She listened, but showed no empathy for the stress or frustration I'd been dealing with. Her only response was, "Well, we can do a patch test," which felt more like another upsell than genuine care. Overall, she showed zero concern, and it felt like she was eager to end the appointment once she realized I wasn't planning to spend extra money on treatments or tests. Basically a 50 minute appointment for 5 minutes of the actual "Doctor's time". I gave this place a second chance after my poor experience last year, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, today's visit confirmed the opposite. I will absolutely not be returning. Not now, not ever.

Dr. Chiu and Olga absolutely changed my life, and I do not mean that lightly…read more I was referred to Bellevue Laser and Cosmetic Center from my dermatologist after receiving a significant wound on my face that left a deep scar (picture attached). My care started at Dr. Chiu, who addressed the medical concerns via a few injections and an extraction under my eye, all of which was done so gently that I hardly felt it! I was then transferred to Olga for laser treatment. She used a couple different speciality lasers at various points of my treatment, and within 7 sessions, completely and totally transformed my skin. Olga is knowledgeable, caring, and always gave me a thorough consultation regarding the treatments and expected recovery time. She always ensured my consent was obtained and informed (some of the procedures left bruising for a couple of days), and allowed me to drive when and how much treatment I wanted. For example, I had an event timed around one of our sessions and didn't want a lot of down time, so we adjusted the type of laser to still give me results but not leave bruising. I walked into every session feeling confident in her abilities regarding my scar treatment, and also always enjoyed her presence and our sweet conversation! Needless to say, after less than a year, my scar is almost completely gone. Even before the big scar, I never felt confident in my skin due to a lifetime of cystic acne and related scarring. I rarely left the house without makeup for 15+ years. Now, I hardly wear foundation, receive compliments on my skin everywhere I go, and finally, finally, am starting to love my skin again. I highly recommend the Bellevue Laser and Cosmetic Center to anyone, and especially anyone with a more complex case, such as mine. Dr. Chiu, Olga, and the rest of the staff involved in my care, I truly cannot thank enough for what you have done to my skin, and my confidence
