Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this place. I wanted to like them a lot, because most of the staff I talked to were very kind. Originally, I was quoted a 3 day repair time. I'm not a stickler about that, but it did take over a week. After I picked up the car, I noticed right away that the repair wasn't up to standard. I'll attach photos of how it's supposed to look first vs the repair I got. I called them immediately. The receptionist was very apologetic that I wasn't happy, and transferred my call to the overseer of my repair immediately. Unfortunately, he didn't answer and we've been playing Phone-Tag for a day and a half. Image A-1: Notice how the side piece aligns with the hood and the headlight cleanly. A-2(their repair): There's a much larger gap between the side piece and the hood. The pointed end of the side piece is also angled up. Image B-1: The hood and the side piece align cleanly, with only a small gap between the two. B-2(their repair): Note the large gap. Image C: This is the passenger side door, which would not open before the repair. During the Estimate, the overseer assured me the entire door would be repainted and no scrapes would be noticeable. Image D: This ding was right at the impact site, on the hood. They didn't even bother to paint over it. In my opinion they should've at least filled it in or maybe replaced the hood. Image E: This piece of the inside door handle was not broken prior to dropping the car off. This is the door that wouldn't open. All in all, I wasn't satisfied. I appreciate that they put in a new headlight and made it to where the door would open. I am not satisfied at all with the body work though. I understand that it is all cosmetic, but I personally care about how my car looks on the outside. 1/10 would not recommend unless you don't care about looks and only care about functionality. read more

They get one star because there isn't anything lower. We hit a deer which did front end damage on my 2024 truck that has less than 7000 miles on it. I got an estimate for about $1000 from the Chevy dealer, I went with bowser because that is who my insurance company recommended . I was told they would inform me if other work needed done besides the grille and shutter system along with pulling the bumper out. Long story short I got the truck back and they replaced headlamps, coolant , radiator, condenser grille kit shutter cooler, Freon for a whomping total of $ 6790.08. I also need to mention the one thing that would not cost in parts was the bumper that they did not touch , when we asked about that they said we would need to bring it back. we drove the truck after hitting the deer both headlights worked heater worked fine and we also ran the air conditioning also fine. It's my feeling that I can't prove they took working parts off my truck and replaced them with aftermarket parts. My parts will either be resold or used on one of their vehicles. A honest mechanic would either save the damaged parts to show their work or call and inform you of what needs done. My opinion the insurance companies and collision companies work together to scam us and that would explain such high insurance rates. read more

I am so pist off that when I picked up my car from Bowser Collision-Jefferson due to a rear bumper hit for repairs (they says it cost 1,800ish) in which I'm very much unsatisfied on how things were handled during this pick-up :( . I was so surprised, I'm not sure if there were a turnaround with new staff members? and I know folks are stressing due to this pandemic but you have to treat your customers with dignity and respect as what I do and always will no matter what! and I feel that I didn't get this from this Bowers team... I have done business with you guys some years ago and I was very satisfied. but now I don't think I will be back nor recommend folks. I work in a professional field "Dept of Med" for many years and folks knows me very well, I feels that Bower took my kindness for weakness, and this is no game to me. I am a very nice lady and will help anyone with needs :). I am a blessed woman. Anyway, once arrived at Bowser at 5pm during this bad rain storm that came through, I then sat in the car,awaiting til the rain eases up but Bowser staff members kept coming to the window/door (main entrance) not sure "why" but my guess, they wanted to leave, so I jumped out the car in the dam rain got soaked, then after signing I guess the repaired form/invoice (I didn't get a chance to see the repairs because where they had my car sitting far towards the runway sitting in a pudding of 1-1/2 foot of water, which my feet has gone in the water as well, my leather $200 shoe/boots were soaked, It was raining so bad that I was unable to take any photo. I have 2016 Lincoln w/ about 47,000 miles and excellent shape, I live in the Nort-Hills and came some distance because I thought you all were the same folks but apparently I was incorrect. Then the rain was stilling coming down in which they offered someone to walk me over to my car with a umbrella that did no dam justice. Instead of bringing my car to the entrance doorway :( I am so glad that I didn't get hurt. I feel that the Bower team are very immature and this was kinda rude to do this to a person that helps bring businesses to your company and furthermore, I don't think they would have done this to their wives. I want this to go to the corporate office and offer some customer services training. Also, I had to call Bowser back about 10-minutes after leaving collision shop/facility and still on the raining road noticing my right turn signal wasn't blinking correctly (too fast) then I immediately called them back and spoke to a Mr. Chris I believe because Dave (the person who worked on my car) was gone now wow that was fast.. I want my car fix the way it should be not to cause more damages to my car. Thank you read more

Don't ever, ever take your car here! The paint on my Hyundai literally was flaking off the car. Bowser took pictures and sent them to Hyundai to get approval for repairs. This shop has NO communication with its customers whatsoever! It took 3 months to get Bower to do what Hyundai called a "Good Will Repair Request". When the work was done, there were noticeable chips in the paint. Tom, who oversaw my claim, flipped out because this was not acceptable to me. Furthermore, I asked the question if the whole hood was going to be painted, not once, but twice and was told by Tom that it would be. Now when there is an issue I was told it was not! I pick the car up and go 2 MILES down the road and my car starts shaking and vibrating and seemed like it was running on 2 cylinders. I barely made it to the service department down the road and after checking it out was told the car needed a 'software update' and they did an 'engine adapting reset'! Funny how there was no issue AT ALL with the engine UNTIL the collision center had it for a week. Coincidence? I DOUBT IT! Sabotage comes to mind, especially based on the way I was treated by Tom. read more

I am seriously disappointed with Bowser. I got a 2023 Nissan Rogue from them 2 weeks ago today and on Sunday, I was driving and my tire blew out, I did not hit anything and was on a residential street With witnesses who Saw it happen. I had less than 400 miles on it and was told by 3 individuals at a tire shop that it was a manufactural defect and I should take it to the dealership and it should be covered. My husband called the service department 5 times at Bowser and left 3 messages and did not get a call back one time, he showed up and dropped off the tire and they said they would take care of it the next day but never did, I stopped by the day after and they decided I hit something, it was my fault and called me a liar. Their idea of above and beyond to rectify this was to sell me a tire at above their cost. I strongly advise you to steer clear of the dealership and service department. They made me feel stupid and like I did not matter. I look forward to completing the new car Nissan survey. read more

Took my car here last week to have tap and die work done so that I could get an hitch installed....took a 1/2 day off work for a scheduled appt --.waited over an hour for them to perform the work. Took my SUV to the shop that is installing the hitch yesterday only to be told that I paid for services they NEVER did!!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!! read more

I had the worst experience with this collision center. I spoke several times on the phone with the receptionist trying to coordinate dropping off my vehicle all of which where less than acceptable. I was told different things by the same receptionist after confirming my repair an estimate. The third time speaking with the receptionist she yelled at me stating how she did not say that when that is what she advised me to do. She said a few days ago that they had loaners yet the service manager said the don't . Honestly, I a very disappointed by the level of professionalism this place has. I also confirmed with the insurance company that they would pay for the rental however long it would take. I spoke with the service manager their who made a snide remark about him getting 2 million in revenue off of state farm claims alone. This place does not appreciate your business and does not deserve your money. read more

Worst experience ever. My car went there after an accident on November 17th, after 2 weeks with no communication from them I called to get an update. Mark, who was overseeing my repair told me that the parts were ordered and in should be a week and a half. After another 2 weeks I had to call again to get an update and Mark said "great news, the parts just came in and it should be ready by the beginning of next week". On Wednesday of the next week I stopped in and spoke with Mark to which he said " well the parts just came in, it should be ready by the beginning of next week" ...again. My wife stopped in on Tuesday of the next week and again Mark told her "well the parts just got in" and it should be ready by the end of the week. Every week there after I called and Mark said it should be ready next week. Keep in mind that I drive past the shop every day and see that my car hasn't been moved, several times I stopped and took pictures that show no work had been done and the car hadn't been moved. Not sure why they feel the need to LIE to customers. 75 days from when they got my car it's finally done. Without a doubt I would NEVER use them again nor recommend them to ANYONE. read more

Miserable failures. Shotty paint job lasted 18 months before rusting out. No other rust at all on the vehicle other than where they fixed. The bottom of the truck bed wasn't even painted. When i asked my representative there he offered no concession and said they do not cover rust. Of course you don't, why would you with a pathetic paint job like that. I would not recommend taking any vehicle there for any reason. read more

Have had significant body work done due to collisions over the past five years and they have been very professional, but most important the work quality is such that there is no indication there had been a repair done. As far as prices, they are not the least expensive, but very competitive for the quality. My son's car was appraised by the adjuster, but instead of taking it to their repair place he took the money and went to Bowser, saved enough to more than cover his deductible. Their time estimates are pretty accurate. At this point I would not go anywhere else if I cared how my car looked. read more
