It's amazing how many Mechanics Still do this. NOT Tullytown Auto!! I started going to Tullytown Auto After The Garage I used for over 15+ years tried to charge me $2500+ to fix my truck. Yet when I asked what it would cost to get it running to get to dealer, it was the cost of a $25 hose!! So much $$$ wasted. I made them pop hood and saw they NEVER Replaced hose they charged for. They've since moved their Garage from the Corner of Levittown Pkwy. and St. Michael's. Just Disgraceful!! Tullytown Auto is The Best. I won't go anywhere else!!

I had already scheduled an appointment elsewhere and called my auto insurance provider to have the vehicle towed to that shop. Mark, the owner of Challenger Towing arrived and saw the car wouldn't go into gear. He was fine towing it to the other shop, but said it as most likely the transmission. He mentioned that many newer cars have CVT transmissions and they don't provide as much warning compared to older cars. He took the car to his shop and verified it was the transmission. I'd once said that I'd never pay for a new transmission, but we had just paid the car off two months prior. I had no desire to take on another car payment so quickly. I got the extended warranty on the transmission. I know also know about CVT transmissions and didn't before. When it's time for a new car, I plan to ask if it has a CVT transmission because they tend to only last for 100,000 miles according to my online research. Our Rogue was just under 89,000 miles when the transmission went out. You can trust Challenger Towing - good people, great service.
