Alex is amazing. I was introduced to this place because rumor has it that they can fix the problem…read morenobody else can. I've taken my altima to numerous mechanics who guessed, changed out parts, charged a fortune, but never solved the engine noise problem. Alex finally got that sorted out. It was a combination of a bad catalytic converter and the "clutch" that coupled the electric motor to the gas motor had worn out. I drove my car 40 minutes out of the way to find this place because I was told this is where mechanics go when they cant fix their clients car. This place was worth the drive, I wish I stopped by here first 2 years ago. Update. The time I've spent waiting here, I've seen police officers bring in their vehicle as well as an ambulance on the lift, clearly they are very trusted. Mechaanics here are all very easy going and seems to love doing their job. For every part thats broken, Alex would pull out the part and show me exactly what is broken with it. I had my second vehicle fixed here, a 2004 MDX. Monroe wanted about 5k for the repair. Alex fixed it for 2,400 and he did it fast.

I've been bringing my car to Lin for the past 15 years. This is a family owned shop, so you feel…read moreinstantly welcome and at home once you enter the door. You drop off your car with Lin and then come back whenever he calls you to tell you that your car is ready. I purchased my first car from Lin. From that point onward, I started bring my car to Lin for everything, from simple things like changing my wiper blades to the most complicated repairs, like refitting my car with a new engine. He's been in the business for 20 years so he knows how to do everything car related. He even does quick body work. Last year I was the recipient of a minor hit-and-run accident and had my car repainted at a much lower price. My wallet thanks him. His prices are a GREAT value for the attention he gives your car. LinOn is NOT one of those shady shops that charges you a cheap $50 for an inspection, but then tells you that you have to spend another $3000 to fix everything to pass the inspection test. Lin tells you what's up with your car in a matter of fact manner. My family and friends also started bringing their cars to his shops, and they all say the same thing. Just listen and trust what he says. If not, you're going to be stuck with a huge bill when your car totally falls apart from the lack of maintenance. Anyways, one last tidbit. If you are a regular customer of his, Lin is more willing to provide personal assistance if you are in need of car help. When my engine died on me a few years ago, I called Lin. Lin and his wife drove out to where I was (at 9:30pm) and did some preliminary checks on my car to see if he could revive it. (WILL YOUR DEALER DO THAT FOR YOU? I THINK NOT). Since it was a big engine failure, Lin helped me contact a tow truck to bring the car to his shop. He asked for my opinion on how much I could afford for another engine, etc and tried to work within my price range. As a note, you can't be stingy with your price range or else it's impossible for him to help you. The cost of getting a new engine was far less than the $30,000 I would have had to shell out to purchase another car. Again, my wallet thanks him. It really helps to establish a great relationship with your car doctor. I really recommend you to bring your car to Linon. I hope my review of his shop accurately depicts how incredibly helpful Lin has been to me in the past!

In my experience, dealing with car salesmen is like trying to make friends with your prison bunk mate who you just met and you play nice with at first but aren't sure whether or not they're going to shank you in your sleep. This was my experience for most dealers as one by one they refused to provide quotes, ghosted me or outright insulted me for daring to take their sh*tty quote and share it with another dealer to see if they were willing to beat said sh*tty quote. But Katharine at Faulkner was like a breath of fresh air compared to the two faced monsters at most of the other dealers. She was kind, genuine, responsive and great to work with through a process that I hated from the moment I reached out to my first dealership. I wish the car buying experience could be what Katharine provided for everyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend Katharine for your saleswoman and encourage anyone who is interested in buying a vehicle to ask for her by name if you want a car buying experience that all dealerships should strive for.
