I emailed them, and received a very prompt response saying they credited my account and it would appear when I signed up for the class, and it did!! I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and satisfactorily they handled the issue. Then my daughter went to the Frozen treats baking class, and she loved it! The class size was great, just 3 students to 1 teacher. I simply dropped her off and walked around U Village for 2 hours by myself, which was glorious. She had so much fun baking, coloring, playing with the play kitchen. She's decided she wants another gift card for a class for her birthday. I cannot recommend Froglegs enough!!

AVOID for your little kids. The camp says kids 4-10 but it was not appropriate for little kids. My…read morekids are very developmentally typical four year olds - enthusiastic, love making new friends, love trying new things, love helping in the kitchen, AND they still make lots of mistakes because they're FOUR. They have attended several other camps and are in preschool and have thrived in all of those environments. Frog Legs could NOT handle their typical 4 year old behavior. I got the impression that this class is set up more for older kids and they didn't really know how to engage the little ones. I'll also say that at pick up and even drop off every day the teachers seemed strung out and exhausted. My kids mostly reported sitting and coloring all morning and then eating whatever yummy junk food they had made that day. I'm sure they did help out some, but I don't think the class was set up in a way that was engaging. They came home every day totally wired and bouncing off the walls - a huge contrast to other camps they've been to that were better suited to little kids. On the final day of the camp they called me and asked me to pick them up early because they were playing with toys that didn't belong to them - certainly something they should not be doing, but also a developmentally appropriate mistake and a learning opportunity rather than a reason to kick kids out of a camp! Like I said, this camp is not set up for little kids if they can't handle developmentally appropriate mistakes that kids are bound to make. My advice: avoid this place and support some other business that actually cares about nurturing kids and isn't just a cash grab for pre-k parents looking for exciting things for their kids to experience.

I got a butterfly done for my face, my daughter had a rainbow puppy, my husband had a baseball, and so many other people got other pieces done. My daughter had a sword, a bicycle, a bow/arrow, an octopus, my husband had a monkey in a tree, he made ninjas, axes, and so much more. 10/10 highly suggest Hoopla for your next event if you're looking for a Face painter and/or balloon art! Whatever you do, do not use Grand for any reason. If I could give zero stars I would. Back in…read moreFebruary, I signed to rent a dance floor and tent from them for my wedding in July. Communication was off from the start - Brenna often didn't reply to my emails unless I called in or followed up. I was very clear from the start that we may end up canceling the tent if the weather looks good (knowing we would still have to probably pay the full cost anyways). It was always a backup plan incase rain was in the forecast. Brenna reassured my planner and I that this was fine and the delivery fees listed were worst case scenario. A week before the wedding, Brenna casually mentions that the dancefloor is unable to be put outside because of venue specific reasons. I confirmed with the venue back in February that a dancefloor could in fact be put outside, so I'm not sure why Brenna did not think so. A lot of back and forth later and they finally agree to the following: 1. Dancefloor can be put up outside without the tent covering it if there is no rain in the forecast 2. We can call on the Friday before the wedding to cancel the tent if the forecast looks good. So that Friday comes and the forecast looks good, so my planned decides to call them up to cancel the tent setup. However, they decided to setup both the tent and dance floor on Friday morning without notifying either of us. When we call to insist they need to come and take the tent down, they basically say it's not their problem and they can't send a crew out until Tuesday. They also start saying they won't allow their dancefloor to be uncovered because there's a small chance of rain Sunday morning. Not once do they apologize or admit there was a miscommunication on their end, instead Jill threatens to cancel our contract entirely and tear down everything because I was understandably frustrated on the phone with her. Again, this was a day before my wedding. More back and forth with Jill before she finally agrees to send someone to take the tent down and schedules a crew to take the dance floor down on Saturday night - although it was going to cost us $500 extra. $500 extra just for the original services we wanted back in February!! As I told Jill on the phone, I have no clue how they are still in business if this is how disorganized operations are. Absolutely ridiculous.

We did not have the pleasure of having Braden perform at our wedding due to the closure of our…read morewedding venue amidst the current COVID pandemic. Despite this, I must take a moment to recommend him wholeheartedly and without any reservation. (Allow me to briefly illustrate my level of thoroughness as a person: I tried on over 70 dresses, reviewed over 50 photography portfolios, and with little surprise- met with over 10 DJs.) Braden, FAR above the competition, won us over with his professionalism, but blew us away with his character as a human being from day one. He leaves no stone unturned as a DJ, and inquired about lights, special effects/equipment, any cultural customs to be aware about, health issues, etc. He even wanted to take the time to get to know us as a couple over beers so he could tailor his performance to us as a couple, our personality, and our vibe. I hope readers understand that this is an amazing, personal touch because no other DJ offered to personalize our event to the extent that Braden did. I also want to vouch that *after* I hired him, I saw him featured in multiple magazines for his work as a DJ/MC, which only made me more excited to show him off at our wedding. Braden is MORE than a DJ, though. Perhaps most importantly, he is, without a doubt, a genuinely good person. He sent an email after finding out that our wedding was canceled, and it literally left me in tears. His support and kind words have single-handedly restored my faith in our community amidst this COVID-19 pandemic. You will feel lucky to have him as your DJ at your wedding. P.s. We are still eager to experience having Braden as a DJ so if you would kindly allow my fiancee and I to party with your guests at your reception (we will not eat your food), PLEASE LET US KNOW! :)

We received more guest comments about how great the DJ was than any other aspect of our wedding. In the planning process he was relaxed and prepared, needed very little of us, but was also willing to take whatever instruction we asked for, and was a calming, confident presence on our wedding day. We hit him with a somewhat last minute, very strange request to sample lines from our favorite SNL skit and work them into the dancefloor music, assuming he would think we were crazy, but he enthusiastically had the audio pulled within days and went above and beyond mixing a custom song for us with the SNL audio. A week before the wedding we asked for a disco ball and he found a way to borrow one at no extra cost to us. He was also a wonderful MC, which was a more significant element of the day than we anticipated. He was so active on the day of, constantly monitoring volume levels, crowd mood and reaction, etc., adjusting volume of the mic on my groom for when he was speaking versus when I was speaking a few feet away from the mic - it was all flawlessly executed. We were very torn between having a live band and a DJ, and were so incredibly happy that we chose Braden. We highly highly recommend him!
