The kids at our birthday party had lots of fun with AlakaSam! The jokes landed really well with the 6 and under crowd - older kids were more skeptical. The 45 minute set may have been 10 minutes too long for kids who were hungry for lunch. Keep that in mind when planning your event. Sam was very professional and quick to tidy up. read more

If you're wanting an amazing show, but also want to ensure the safety of your kids during this COVID-19 pandemic...LOOK NO FUTHER!! We loved having AlakaSam come to our center (Mill Creek KinderCare)! He was extremely informative and patience with our younger age groups and tailored the show to fit their attention span! With the older kids he described the "tricks" more in depth and made it more of a learning experience. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and set up with out any hassle. I was running around the center helping the many classrooms, and he was extremely helpful with the transitions between shows. Sam did five different shows, ranging from ages two years of age all the way to 12 years old! He kept their full attention the entire time and was so enjoyable to watch, even as an adult. in the last week-Edit AlakaSam made our 7 year old's birthday party 'magic'! He kept our 6 and 7 year old audience on the edge of their seats for almost a full hour of magic, and better. His performance was highly interactive and he involved almost every kid. Plus - he is not only a master magician and entertainer, but he is an expert balloon artist. Every kid got their own balloon. We had a fantastic night with AlakaSam at our Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. Not only is he a very talented magician, but he was also fantastic working with the kids as volunteers, keeping the audience in control (as you must to with 8 year olds) and keeping every trick age appropriate and with such good taste. His dialog was clean and suitable for our religious crowd. I was so impressed that he even asked if certain tricks would be okay and he left one out that MIGHT have been questionable.
