Mentalist - Nate Jester - 1st Birthday Party - Magicians Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Hands down best decision we have made to hire Nate for our son's 6th birthday party. I also want to point out that Nate's ability to perform for all ages was incredible. There were 3-year-olds to 40-year-olds present at the party and everyone loved the experience. He is truly an expert in his craft and if you are looking to hire someone that knows how to manage a crowd, perform engaging magic, and is great to work with, then look no further. It truly doesn't even matter the type of event - if you are looking for a top-notch magician for your ______ event, then Nate should be your #1. I would even go far enough to say that if he has a conflict, you should move the party to another day. FANTASTIC experience from the original inquiry to the end of the event and highly recommend! Thank you Nate! read more

We had Nate join us for a client event on October 4, 2023 and there are not enough words to describe how amazing he was. Nate left our clients laughing and in awe. He is a great entertainer -- hilarious, talented, adaptable, and so easy to work with. Nate was amazing and we still have people talking about his act days later. It was SO fun and I look forward to working with Nate again in the future! read more

We had Nate for our daughter's 7th birthday. He was absolutely amazing! The magic he does is simultaneously elegant, simple, and mind-blowing. We were in a pretty up-close setting and are still mystified by the magic he did. It was truly awesome. He drew in grown-ups and kids alike, and his jokes had all of us cracking up. My daughter said it was the best part of her birthday read more

Nate Jester is a fantastic magician! My team (at work) hired Nate for a virtual performance, where we had folks joining globally. He is 100% effective and very entertaining over VC! Multiple cameras, tech setup is all ready to go, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at how seamless his magic tricks + audience interaction were over VC. It was basically like we were all together in person for the performance; definitely do not let the remote audience aspect stop you if you're on the fence. Nate's comedic timing is excellent, and he had a wide variety of illusions to show us. Everybody was smiling, laughing, or clapping the whole time! Our team's group chat immediately blew up after the show with everyone talking about how awesome the show was, and how impressed we all are. Overall, this was my favorite virtual event I've attended during 2020 (my workplace has had *many*) and certainly the most fun hour I've ever spent on a VC during work hours. Our crowd loved him! read more

I hired Nate for my daughters 12th birthday party. There were about 8 kids and as many adults. Nate wowed us all ! What a great performer, personable ,funny and best of all a great magician. He had us all fooled and thoroughly entertained. I would recommend him for any event. Super fun ! read more

I saw Nate last night at a 30th Birthday Celebration and let me say...WOW! Nate was impressive and amazing. I'm still in shock and awe over some of his tricks. Nate would walk around from group to group throughout the party and performed a bunch of little tricks that left everyone speechless. He was so fun to watch that everyone ended up following him throughout the night to see what else he had up his sleeve. By the end of the night he was surrounded by the whole party! On top of being a great magician he was also a lot of fun to talk to and had a great sense of humor. He even won over the guests who were skeptical of magic in the beginning leaving them as believers! Because of this and more I would highly recommend him for any event! You will not be disappointed! read more

Nate gave a FANTASTIC performance at my company's user conference last week! He's a natural performer who knows how to get a crowd going, whether it's close-up magic or a full on stage show. Nate oozes charisma and inspiration. He doesn't know it yet, but I think he has a couple of new groupies. LOL! read more

Hired Nate for a Zoom party for my daughter's 7th birthday. There were 7 year olds and adults on the Zoom call, and everyone had a great time. His magic tricks were excellent--we could not figure out any of them. A couple were kind of mind-blowing, actually. He was really good at "working the crowd," which, trust me, is really hard to do over Zoom. He was a pro at it and made everyone feel included. He was bantering a lot with people, which was fun. He is the opposite of a cheesy performer. Wished he could have fit more tricks in, but time flies and before we knew it we were at the end of the show. I would totally recommend him for children or adults. He has definitely honed his show for the Zoom audience. He was also very professional--everything was seamless, from booking a date to email and phone correspondence to getting on the Zoom call. A+! read more

Nate was AWESOME! We hired him for our companies virtual social and he did amazing! Everyone had a great time and he really knows how to work the "crowd" even via Zoom. 100% would bring him back for another event. read more

We hired Nate for a group of approx. 200 people, at least half of which were kids. The kids were absolutely MESMERIZED by his show and the adults all had a good laugh and enjoyed it too. We were hearing non-stop good things about it for hours! Definitely made the event a success. read more

I can not say enough good things about Nate! Ended up hiring him for my 30th birthday party and he was a huge hit! My friends followed him around and couldn't get enough of his magic! He was super easy to work with and quick to respond with emails on setting up a time and sending the contract! I have never hired anyone like this before and he made it super easy. He offered two option on how he could entertain. I went with the walking around. Which I thought was perfect for a party. Though everyone just huddled around him so maybe should of done the other option! He arrived on time ready to entertain! And boy did he entertain!! Seriously my friends were in shock and awe the whole time he was there! He was so sweet and did one last illusion just for me since I was so busy I didn't get to really watch. I hosted the party of the year because of him! So as a guest and a host I highly recommend Nate!! read more

Nate is an amazing entertainer. He performed for our four year old birthday and it was an incredible experience and fun for not only kids but also for adults. read more

Nate is simply one of the best at his trade! From his charming personality and great sense of humor to his sleight of hand tricks, balloon animals and stage magic - he's pretty amazing! I've seen Nate now at corporate functions, weddings and even kids' parties and he's always shined. We especially love seeing him entertain guests at wedding receptions during cocktail hours, as an ice breaker to bring families and friends of brides and grooms together early on. He really can help loosen them up and help contribute to a truly unique and memorable event! But Nate's versatile enough to work any crowd, really, so for anyone planning any type of event - consider hiring Nate Jester, Seattle's Ace Of Illusions. read more

I just attended a 30th birthday house party and was told there was "special entertainment" at 10pm. I didn't quite know what to expect.....and even when I heard it was a magician... I still wasn't sure. Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised. Nate was great. He was funny and personable and a huge hit. It wasn't weird or hokey at all! He followed the guest's lead and everyone interacted with him and even the biggest critics were enthralled with his work! Everyone was laughing and had a great time. I'd highly recommend him. read more

I saw Nate at a private event where he was walking around and showing his amazing magic tricks to everyone. It was really great to see him truly interacting with everyone and we really enjoyed his tricks!! A very entertaining and fun party for sure!!! read more

Nate nailed it! I hired him to entertain my mixed group of co-workers during our holiday party. His combination of in-person tricks and stage performance was the perfect way to warm-up the crowd and get people laughing. His tricks were legit, and had people taking for the rest of the evening. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great night Nate! read more

If I could give a higher star rating, I would! Nate is the best! Our party would not have been as much fun without him! We hired Nate for our Holiday work party to entertain guests during the cocktail hour and then to perform after dinner. Everyone was amazed! I kept seeing huge smiles and laughter from all over the room and every time it was centered on Nate's performance. If you're looking for someone that is a master of illusion, as well as extremely personable, you've got it all here. I am still perplexed at how he performed the tricks! I have not seen my coworkers enjoy something as much as this. I am so very impressed and will definitely be hiring Nate again! I received glowing reviews about Nate from my coworkers after the show, and am still hearing about it today. (our party was Saturday night) Thank you so much Nate! read more

Amazing Magician! I was in attendance at the 125th Anniversary Gala event for The Rainier Club in downtown last night. It was a grand affair - great food, good ambiance and energy - but the show was stolen by Nathan Jester. I came across Nathan in one of the banquet rooms and was immediately drawn in by his showmanship and personality; his interaction with his crowd was inviting and inclusive, and his flawless execution of tricks was mesmerizing. I've seen a lot of roving magicians in my day - most end up being cheesy and are usually lackluster in the execution of tricks. NOT THE CASE WITH NATHAN! I applaud him for his dedication to his craft and would recommend him to anyone. You will not be disappointed! read more

Nate did a great job with my 7-year-old's birthday party. He was game to go along with our Star Wars theme, which we really appreciated (bonus that he made the kids balloon 'light sabers' which they loved and the adults got a huge laugh out of as we all agreed they looked like giant ...um... male anatomy). But for real his tricks were really great and he has a nice delivery that worked great in our family room and I'd be willing to bet would work in any environment. Highly recommended! read more

Nate is a class act! His strolling magic and magic shows are highly entertaining, creative, and engage the audience for a fun time. I've even had the pleasure of being part of his act where he cut me in half. Sorry, not telling how he did it. Any company looking for a professional to provide wow factor at their event will be impressed with Nate at Ace of Illusions. read more

Nate performed at my son's 5th birthday party, and he was fabulous!! From the get go, scheduling was fast, easy, and clear. Nate was super responsive, and actually helped us out last minute after someone else bailed on us. We were so lucky to have Nate, it turned out to be a blessing. Nate showed up at exactly the time we scheduled and set up super quickly. The show was a perfect balance of age appropriate magic and comedy. The kids were entranced and spent most of the show howling with laughter. The magic tricks were awesome, and Nate masterfully engaged the kids. He involved the birthday boy a lot and was very flexible in responding to my son's surprising request to perform his own magic trick. Nate also dealt perfectly with a child who got too excited to sit down quietly. Balloon animals were also a big hit. I am so glad we hired Nate and I would wholeheartedly recommended him to anyone! read more

We had Nate do our company Holiday Party this year. He was absolutely amazing. Great performance and one I would recommend for other office parties. read more

Magician Nate Jester returned to Petersburg, Alaska, as the main attraction for the post graduation party after our high school graduation last week. This was his third trip to Petersburg in the last 5 years!! Our kids (and parent chaperones, too!) were thoroughly enthralled and astounded by his magic show. He had the kids engaged and involved from the get-go, in his entertaining, totally appropriate and amusing presentation! Nate made the final event for our graduating seniors an experience they'll never forget! read more

Nate Jester is an accomplished magician that continues to surprise me with each trick even though I have seen him perform his magic many times at various events. He is entertaining, witty, professional and a joy to work with. I think what I like most about watching Nate's performances is how much he seems to enjoy his job! In November, 2010, I had the opportunity to hire Nate for the Seattle Children's Home formal dinner & auction. He provided energy and delight to even our most selective guests during our VIP reception. For sure he was the shining star that completed our event theme: A Magical Night! We are looking forward to hiring him again soon! read more

Nate Jester is awesome! We hired him to work at our wedding during cocktail hour and part of the reception. He's charismatic, engaging and incredibly talented. What a total hit he was for our guests! Hire him! read more

Nate is truly first rate with his prestidigitation and I would highly recommend him for any event. His youthful vigor and charm sits well with his professional demeanor and provides an overall impression of sophistication and class - and no I'm not his mom. We've had the opportunity to hire Nate for well over 100 events in the last few years and he has never failed to impress our clients. As a consummate professional he's been a joy to work with on scheduling; always arrives early, easy to work with and totally without the ego that accompanies some performers of his skill level. We look forward to an ongoing relationship for many years. read more

We hired Nate for our son's 7th birthday... 23 kids, 2 babies, and a bunch of grown-ups! Everyone was so impressed and the parents kept asking "where did you find this guy?!" He was very cool under pressure and some of the kids in front weren't exactly playing by the rules ;( Thanks Nate! And hopefully Yelp won't bury this review! read more

Nate did a tremendous job at my daughter's 10th birthday party, and I highly recommend him from an entertainment and business perspective. Regarding entertainment, the kids (and their parents) were enthralled with Nate's performance. He does a great job of settling the kids, getting them involved in the act, and creating a fun atmosphere. All of the kids and adults were left wondering "how'd he do that?" From a business perspective, Nate was so easy to deal with. He was always very responsive over email, his rate is quite reasonable given how much entertainment he provides, and he was prompt and professional in arriving and setting up. Thanks, Nate! read more

I hired Nate for our company Christmas party of 120 guests. I've had so many calls today from people who absolutely loved his show. From an event planner perspective, Nate responded to all my communications quickly, he was at the venue and setting up well before the show and was willing to adapt to a venue that wasn't quite what he thought it would be. I can only say the performance was outstanding, and everyone absolutely loved that he roamed during the cocktail hour doing impromptu tricks. I highly recommend Nate for any event you may be planning. He's prompt, personable and incredibly talented. Linda. read more

Look no further...Nate is FANTASTIC! THANK YOU Nate, for adding so much entertainment and enjoyment to our company's holiday party. We hired him as a "surprise guest" to our company holiday party earlier this month in Bellevue. Nate immediately began mingling with our unsuspecting guests and instantly charmed them with his casual and friendly personality...and then stunned them with his slight of hand and crazy illusions! If you are skeptical of "party magicians", I PROMISE YOU - Nate will change your opinion with his very first trick...and the good news is he's got tons more...ahem...up his sleeve...you won't be sorry adding Nate to any party or event! We will be calling him again for corporate and family events to be sure! read more

Nate performed for our daughter's 7th birthday party. He definitely exceeded our expectations - entertaining not only the kids but all of the adults too! It was so great seeing the excitement of the children but also really enjoying the performance myself. Besides being a great magician, Nate was very responsive, professional, kind and navigated incredibly well through the unpredictability of performing for children ages 3 thru 10. He is really funny but most of all, a great magician and entertainer. We will definitely hire him again in the future! read more

Unbelievably Amazing! I hired Nate Jester to perform at a Father Daughter event at our high school. The audience was amazed and mesmerized by the entire show! We usually see people leave about half way through the evening and no one left early. In fact, people hung around after the show to talk about how amazing it was and how they wished it was longer! This show was a month ago and people are still talking about how fantastic the entire thing was and how we must invite Nate back again! If you are looking for someone to provide a show that people will not forget, hire Nate Jester! read more

If you have a group anywhere from age 12 to 80, this one-man show is for you. He is funny, gifted, and does not mail-in his performance. He was able to hold the audience with no blue humor or double entendres. And his magic was delightful. I'm still shaking my head at the performance I saw 6 days ago. I can't recommend him too highly. You won't be disappointed. read more

Nate performed at my daughter's 5th birthday party and he put on an incredible show! I was impressed both with the high quality of the illusions (absolutely amazing!) and also with how well he was able to manage a room full of 5 year olds. He kept the kids engaged and made the show so much fun. A couple of times a child interrupted or was a bit disruptive and Nate was able to quickly get the child back on track in a way that was kind and polite. So many parents commented to me how much they enjoyed the show as well. Highly recommend! read more

I hired Nate Jester for a virtual magic show for our school Candlebrook Elementary. Although the school is diverse with grades K-4, Nate Jester was able to keep their attention and blew their minds with magic. Some of the tricks he uses, at first, you may think you have seen it before but then he surprises you with a completely different ending. You start to learn in the show every time he snaps his fingers that something really cool is about to happen and you are glued to watching what he is doing. Some of the comments I heard from the kids were: he was very talented, he was great at sleight of hand, he tricked us, and some of the kids also had their jaws drop when they saw the end of the tricks in amazement. A lot of the kids were clapping in between the tricks. Even though we were physically separated with being virtual, he made us all feel like we were together during the show. Nate also had a part at the end where he taught the kids how to do 2 magic tricks. You should add that to your package, it was really fun for the kids. The kids loved the tricks and they were all practicing on Zoom how to do the magic tricks together. It was a great way to have a virtual Halloween Party!!! With how everything is going in this world now, I feel the world could use a little magic and Nate Jester is a great escape when seeing his show! Nate was very easy to work with when setting up the show. He was on time, very professional, always answered all my questions in a timely manner, and a great magician. I highly recommend Nate Jester for anyone that wants to have a great time and get lost in his magic. He WILL blow you away! :) read more

I hired Nate for my 50th Birthday Party last year with about 30 women in attendance. He was the clear HIT of the party. I'm so glad my daughter convinced me I needed spring for this entertainment-- well worth the investment. My friends still talk about how fantastic he was in approaching both the tables of women and groups standing around with his informal magic tricks. He knew how to work the crowd without being intrusive. He quickly engaged women and created laughter and smiles all over my party. I was grateful because, while I knew these women from a variety of settings, many of them didn't know each other. He was the "ice breaker" and glue for the event, besides the entertainment. He also performed a short show where everyone was engaged and he called up women for audience participation. Folks still ask "how did he DO that?" The polls show that after an event, people will forget the food, the beverages, the decor, the flowers, etc but what they remember most is the entertainment. True that. read more
