Birthday Boy tries to cut rope with two different pairs of scissors, neither of them will work for him! Jeff says he'll do one of three tricks depending on how high the ball bounces. The ball doesn't bounce at all. Jeff asked for a bill from the audience. I just happened to have a hundred still in my wallet from the previous day's party. He transforms it into a million dollar statue of liberty bill. The kids rushed him and tore it in half! Check out his awesome flaming wallet though. Jeff Evans entertains adults and kids alike. He is flexible and responsive to any environment or interaction with the audience. I hired Jeff to perform a stand-up show and strolling magic for an event with age ranges from 10 years-old to 80. Every single individual at the event later told me that Jeff made the night for them. During the stand-up show Jeff had to endure some heckling and incredulity from the middle-school crowd. He handled it like a pro! He wasn't flustered, he addressed their comments with humor and lightened the mood without embarrasing or shaming them. He made believers out of all of us! I hired Jeff to perform at my husbands college graduation party. We have seen Jeff many time at local community events, have always loved his shows and I always thought I should hire him! Finally, the time came when I needed entertainment for a party and he was my first and last thought. Let me say that he did not let me down! Jeff performed a strolling magic show, going from group to group and showing his tricks. The adults and the children were all in complete awe!! Not only are his tricks incredible, but he has a great sense of humor and is very witty...which is great for the adults! When Jeff finally wrapped up his show and came to check out with me, he had a line of kids following him around, asking him to do more tricks! Jeff''s show kept the guests talking long after he left, with most people wanting to know how to get in touch with him. I can't end this review without saying that my son actually called Jeff and left a message. I figured with his busy schedule he probably wouldn't have time to call him back but not even a day later my son received a phone call back. After seeing Jeff perform at a public library event, I knew I had to hire him to entertain at my son's birthday party. Jeff put on a wonderful show for my boy and his guests! Prior to the big day, Jeff contacted me to find out a little about my son's interest so he could personalize the show. At the show, Jeff established a great rapport with the kids, included very cool science tricks (to the delight of my son), and delivered the performance with a great sense of humor. My son is usually quite shy, but Jeff drew him out and got him involved in several tricks--in fact, the level of audience participation was great! To wrap up, Jeff made really fun balloon hats for the kids, posed for pictures and gave the birthday boy a magic theme coloring book and an autographed poster! As an add-on, Jeff provides magic trick goody bags for the kids--I am glad I opted for this because the kids really liked them. Everyone enjoyed the show and the kids were talking about it for days after. I have only positive opinions about Jeff's professionalism and attitude and his ability to connect with his audience.
