We had 1 zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted and she provided a spreadsheet to help us with planning and creating our schedule. We then also had an in person meeting 1 month before the wedding to discuss the plan for the big day. Meghan had great input while being considerate of our needs. She is extremely punctual and organized and made sure to keep us on track throughout both our rehearsal and the day of. On the wedding day she asked me maybe a total of 3 questions about decor adjustments and otherwise I just sat back and let her take the wheel. She did an amazing job helping set up decor, keeping the wedding party organized, communicating with vendors, and keeping everyone on schedule. She was present throughout the night whenever we needed her and made sure to direct us where we needed to go and when. I didn't have to think about the itinerary at all and was able to just sit back and enjoy the day with my husband, family, and friends. At the end of the night we headed out and she helped pack everything up along with some of our family so we could just go enjoy our wedding night without any worries. Overall, I would 100% recommend Meghan for anyone looking for someone organized, a good problem solver, and also a kind/down to earth personality. The wedding day went super smooth and everything was so well organized that we were able to start the ceremony a few minutes early. Meghan helped the whole day and night move forward smoothly and it would have been so much harder without her. She started cleaning up elements of the ceremony ahead of time so that by the time the night was coming to a close clean up was fast for our family and friends. Her communication is top notch and she did such a great job at putting us at ease. We were told that wedding coordinators are an absolute MUST expense and Sara proved this to be true.

When our venue was shut down 14 days before our big day we felt absolutely helpless - we had no idea where to even begin to find a venue, cater, day-of coordinator and not to mention re-plan all the logistics, etc... I had a wonderful experience working with Stephanie when I was in my cousin's wedding party last September, and so we reached out to her for advise. She immediately jumped into action while on a drive home from a hike with her family and had three venues all with in house catering available on our date and standing by for us to visit for a tour. Stephanie was already booked with TWO weddings our weekend, but still stepped in with a big smile on her face ready to save the day. Within 48 hours Stephanie helped us get from feeling defeated to excited and confident that our day was going to be better than we could have ever imagined. I like to think of myself as a pretty organized, type A personality and always said "I see the value of a day-of coordinator, but planning my wedding will be fun! I don't need to hire someone to do it for me!" What I didn't realize until working with Stephanie was that with the right wedding planner, it actually becomes MORE fun! She was able to work right along side me and helped me flesh out my vision and made suggestions that made my ideas come to life. Not to mention that because Stephanie has relationships with so many wonderful vendors, she was able to linked us up with those that were able to be respectful of our budget and helped us SAVE money! I am now a totally converted and am the biggest advocate for hiring a wedding planner (specifically Stephanie) :). Day of Stephanie and Jen were both SO wonderful - they worked hard to make our day stress-free and fun! As well as all of her incredible vendor contacts that all jumped in and helped execute the new plan flawlessly. That day we were able to completely forget about the major change in plans that happened just 14 days prior and were able to live in the moment with all our guests! I have attached a picture of the selfie Stephanie took of me, my husband and my cousin who's wedding she planned and coordinated in September. She is the perfect combination of professional and making you feel like family and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her on our team those two weeks. On the day before our wedding, we had a venue walk-through with her, in which she coordinated details with the venue liaison, and she also led rehearsal. What is most worth your investment is what happens on the day-of. I told Emily my goal was to not make any decisions that day except how many slices of cake I was going to have, and that's exactly what happened. She took care of everything - set up, tear down, vendor coordination, decor, helping to wrangle family for photos, the flow of the evening, the rhythm of the processional, and I'm sure she did a thousand other things we didn't even notice. At one point in the night I asked for a pen and she appeared 5 seconds later with one in hand. Her presence allowed us to fully enjoy being in the moment and also took pressure off our friends and family so they could relax as well.     TERRIBLE venue management under the guise of a beautiful space…read more In short, three months after signing with The Barn at Holly Farm we were told management would rather start a year of self-initiated renovations than honor their contract with us. Their decision not only affected us, but at least nine other couples who had booked weddings there too. For my fiancé and me, this left us with less than 7 months before the wedding date to find a new venue and re-plan our entire event. It took over a month for us to find a new space that could accommodate our wedding size indoors. To receive a full refund, we were expected to sign a document that stated we wouldn't make any comments which "may, directly or indirectly, disparage" The Barn at Holly Farm (obviously we did not accept those terms). It then took over a month to receive the funds for The Barn's breach of contract. I hope no other couple has to experience The Barn at Holly Farm's mismanagement and the nightmare experience they caused at least 10 couples in 2021!

    My husband and I were married at the Barn at Holly Farm in May 2019 (I meant to leave a review…read moresooner but life quickly got in the way). We worked with Karmel as well as a flower vendor (Dirty Girl) and photographers (GSquared) whom Karmel recommended. Part of the reason we were drawn to this venue is because of the good works that they do with equine therapy and rescued farm animals. Our experience with the Barn was fantastic. We really hit it off with Karmel and she made planning the wedding fun and low stress. The vendors she recommended also did a great job and at the end of the day, are just good people. I feel like they all connected with us on a personal level. One fun perk this venue offered is for a small fee someone from the Barn takes guests out to meet some of the animals (chickens, goats, llamas, etc.) during the social hour before the reception. This was a lovely and charming way to start the celebration. I think that what we paid was fair for the service we received. The only snafu at the very end was having to pack our own stuff even though we paid extra for the clean-up service, but it was mostly just our personal belongings and it wasn't a big deal. There's always a little wedding drama - in this case our own guests, and the way that Karmel and vendors went about handling it to reduce the stress on us was beautifully done. They were respectful and discreet and we were incredibly grateful for their support. The space itself on the day of the wedding was absolutely stunning and everything was set up exactly as we had planned. It was a truly magical day and I'm so glad we chose the Barn to get married. I'd do it all over again. :)
