I had a chance to go to a 150 person wedding here - and it was awesome! Location is a little rough if you're coming out of Seattle - takes about 45 minutes, but well worth the drive. There are several buildings, a nice garden and fountains. There are cooking facilities and rooms for brides and grooms to prep before the ceremony. Even a nice pergola for the ceremony itself. I knocked off a star for the distance from the city - and it's under the flight path for Harvey Field in Snohomish, which was a little distracting for some of the guests. Other than that, very peaceful and a great venue for small to medium sized weddings!

I am a wedding DJ and i have now DJ'ed here twice this year. This venue is awesome. There is a ton of space. They normally do the ceremony outside, on their property, it's cool because you see beautiful pastures in all directions. If there is rain (one of the 2 weddings), they have a separate area right next to the dinning room. I am not sure how big it is, but i know there was about 100 - 150 people at the wedding... One of the coolest things about this venue is that there is a giant patio connected to the dinning area. They have standing heaters, tall drink tables, and even a giant sectional couch. The walls actually slide open, it creates a really cool vibe. If it's a nice night you could set the DJ up near the doors and dance inside and outside. The staff is really nice. I have worked w/ the same lady both times and she's really friendly. Also, both couples didn't seem to have any problems w/ the staff or venue while i was there. The food was awesome. The second wedding they used Pyarmid catering - there was salmon, chicken, and prime rib. They sliced the prime rib right there in the buffet line, it was really good. The garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. Giant ears of roasted garlic mixed in, soo good. They also served chocolate covered strawberries w/ the cake. Only downside is it's a bit of a distance from Seattle, but it's not that bad from Bellevue/Kirkland. - providing a shuttle home is a great option, and it keeps your guests safe.

The most versatile and beautiful venue in Washington. The new patio area with fire pit and amazing Washington view.

TERRIBLE venue management under the guise of a beautiful space…read more In short, three months after signing with The Barn at Holly Farm we were told management would rather start a year of self-initiated renovations than honor their contract with us. Their decision not only affected us, but at least nine other couples who had booked weddings there too. For my fiancé and me, this left us with less than 7 months before the wedding date to find a new venue and re-plan our entire event. It took over a month for us to find a new space that could accommodate our wedding size indoors. To receive a full refund, we were expected to sign a document that stated we wouldn't make any comments which "may, directly or indirectly, disparage" The Barn at Holly Farm (obviously we did not accept those terms). It then took over a month to receive the funds for The Barn's breach of contract. I hope no other couple has to experience The Barn at Holly Farm's mismanagement and the nightmare experience they caused at least 10 couples in 2021!

My husband and I were married at the Barn at Holly Farm in May 2019 (I meant to leave a review…read moresooner but life quickly got in the way). We worked with Karmel as well as a flower vendor (Dirty Girl) and photographers (GSquared) whom Karmel recommended. Part of the reason we were drawn to this venue is because of the good works that they do with equine therapy and rescued farm animals. Our experience with the Barn was fantastic. We really hit it off with Karmel and she made planning the wedding fun and low stress. The vendors she recommended also did a great job and at the end of the day, are just good people. I feel like they all connected with us on a personal level. One fun perk this venue offered is for a small fee someone from the Barn takes guests out to meet some of the animals (chickens, goats, llamas, etc.) during the social hour before the reception. This was a lovely and charming way to start the celebration. I think that what we paid was fair for the service we received. The only snafu at the very end was having to pack our own stuff even though we paid extra for the clean-up service, but it was mostly just our personal belongings and it wasn't a big deal. There's always a little wedding drama - in this case our own guests, and the way that Karmel and vendors went about handling it to reduce the stress on us was beautifully done. They were respectful and discreet and we were incredibly grateful for their support. The space itself on the day of the wedding was absolutely stunning and everything was set up exactly as we had planned. It was a truly magical day and I'm so glad we chose the Barn to get married. I'd do it all over again. :)

I shopped around in Seattle and Bothell--and Cherry Falls had far more ambiance at a better price than the big city offerings. We liked the large windows in the back that showed the trees and forest (our family member who passed was an avid hiker and outdoor lover). There is a kitchen that includes a 30-cup coffee maker, as well as two lovely water dispensers, and much more. There is a large screen with the electronics and speakers to show a slide show or movie. The parking lot is huge, the place is easy to find, right off the road, but it feels peaceful and secluded. The proprietor, Autumn, met us there to go through the electronics and the other details, and before I showed with all my snacks and flowers, she'd already put white tablecloths on all five (huge) tables, and pulled out additional smaller tables for pictures and memorabilia. Everything was spotlessly clean, including a large bathroom and cloakroom. Really, we couldn't have asked for more. I whole-heartedly recommend this venue!

I sincerely wanted to explore every inch of the property and take a million pictures, but unfortunately, I was Non weightbearing on crutches and really couldn't! I appreciated that the bathrooms had a good grab bar and felt safe. If I get lucky enough to attend another event there, I would not sit by the speaker in the dining area because it was extremely loud and it was hard to hear the people at my table, will leave that table for the younger generation! lol. The food from the Cabbage Patch in Snohomish was outstanding. The beef tenderloin and the spinach salad with homemade raspberry vinegarette was delicious. I'm telling you I have been to many venues in my lifetime, and this one might be my all time favorite. Kudos to the family run business!

The aesthetic leans towards modern country-tiki chic, which was great for photographs! The only downside was that since there were not many paved areas, my heels were ruined by the end of the night between the grass, gravel, and gaping floor boards on the dance floor. This space is definitely more wedges or flats friendly, which you may want to warn your guests about ahead of time.
