The owner was so helpful and friendly with us. - Beautiful venue, even without any decorations hall was standing out - all the tables and chairs were pre-arranged and made it easy. - comes with cleaning/server, this took out lot of burden from us. - hourly pricing and can bring our own food. AVOID! There's a reason why they have so many openings. It's in back of an industrial park and there's no signage. We booked a company function here and it was awful. The owner charged us for several items we explicitly said we did not want. The AV equipment was bad, the hall itself was very cold and the heavy presence of incense put everyone's appetite off. But the food is the real source of pain here. We ended up getting Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry (whatever that is??!), rice, lasagna. The CTM had no sauce! The "lasagna" used 1/2" wide flat noodles. The chicken curry was as unremarkable as you'd expect. I question some of their food handling techniques too. I saw the chicken curry being topped off by someone using a plastic container which once held raw meat. My guts were dicey for 2 days. read more

I celebrated my wife's milestone birthday at Empire Banquet Hall. Daljeet also organized the DJ and the bartender for the party. The guests absolutely had a fabulous time. We had samosas, paneer pakoras, chicken shahi kebab, and chilli chicken for appetizers; all of those were awesome and polished off. The dinner had biryani, karahi paneer, malai kofta, and butter chicken with naan. All the food tasted super yummy and we ended with gulab jamun and ras malai for dessert. The bartender did really well with the drinks and everyone was kept hydrated on a warm evening. DJ Virus was excellent played well into the night. Daljeet, himself, was present throughout the party and took care of every detail. We had a gold + black theme for the party and all the decorations added exquisitely to the ambience. They didn't deliver the service they charged me for. Very unprofessional. 1. The owner charged me $400 on top of other charges for two extra servers. He said that there would be 4 servers who would take care of the dirty dishes and pour water in the glasses for my guests etc.. But there were only 2 servers and they left glasses and a pitcher of water on each table to self serve. 2. He promised me to provide china plates and silverware for the cake but at the time of cake cutting, he gave plastic plates and plastic forks. 3. He invited people to see his banquet hall during my party. They roamed around and took pictures and when I asked the owner to ask those people to leave, he said that they would be there for 5-10 minutes and then leave. So unprofessional. How could you have random strangers at someone's private party? 4. I paid him for the bartender. He asked me to buy the "banquet liquor permit" for the party. At the very last moment (an hour before the party) the bartender messaged me that he couldn't come and he would send someone else. That person didn't make a single cocktail for my guests. The bartender asked me to get 4 bags of ice and the other person who was there didn't put any ice in the drinks. He didn't put any rim for the margaritas. The bartender later apologized to me when I told him what happened at my party. 5. For the decoration on stage, they made very thin stage though they showed me and charged me for premium decorations. Otherwise the decorations were very good and exactly the same as I requested. 6. I booked DJ through them as well. DJ Y-rus, Money, was awesome. Very pleased with his service. It couldn't have been better. 7. I ordered vegetarian food through them as well. Food was good and served on time. read more

Business owner is a con artist. A week before your party the price will all of a sudden go up. He demands payment in cash and no official contract. He wants full payment in advance so after you pay you have no choice. While you are having a party and busy hosting the food will start disappearing within 30minutes after serving time. The burners will be off and the trays will be mostly empty. Dessert will be served without bowls and spoons. And half of our cake disappeared entirely. Your party will be cut short by turning lights on 2 hrs before the end time while people are dancing on the floor. The server actually took the plates away from the table while our guests were eating and said time is up at 10pm. Not the place where you want to make memories. Far better and professional halls out there. read more

****IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND RESPECT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE**** 1) We booked the hall till 12 the lights were turned on at 9 as a tactic to have everyone exit the hall. The owner is claiming that this all occurred once the environment got intense but the reality is that the reason why it got intense is because of the leading events (lights being turned off, paid $400 extra for the slideshow to be played but they were having technical issues, no announcement was made for last call for dinner, warmers were removed, when asked about the salad which was identified in the contract they never severed it, plates with food on them were also being taken from our guests). This was not acceptable. 2) The celebration cake disappeared and was never even served. When asked about the cake, we didn't get any confirmation on where was the cake and it was definitely never served!! 3) No concept of customer experience! And just spoiled our large 100 people party! And to now make matters worse the owner is claiming that his staff felt unsafe by our guests in his responses. We made a big mistake by hosting our party here - hope you do not make the same mistake. read more

Horrible experience- food was taken from guests with no permission and party was shut down early because a guest asked for his food back. Unprofessional scene was caused that could have been avoided if staff was more understanding that people can't eat food in less than 10 minutes at a function where their attention is divided and they're mingling and socializing. There should be no time limit to eat especially if guest got food while it was still being served. Paid almost 12 grand for a party to celebrate my grandparents 50th anniversary and got kicked out and shut down at 9pm with not enough food for guests after the number of guest was 100 and was clearly communicated. We had my wedding reception here last weekend and had a great experience overall. The hall itself is beautiful and very big/open. The service staff were awesome in keeping up with our party as well. DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF WE COULD!! Management and staff are extremely unprofessional, rude and have NO sense of customer service. This venue is run by an older man and his extremely rude daughter. We booked this for my brother's wedding (Desi), and deeply regretted it. The management FORGOT what day the wedding was and we had to remind him every meeting, INCLUDING THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE EVENT! We met with the management several times prior to the event, and they assured us everything we wanted was available and would be taken care of.bDuring our meet ups, their mic was not broken and they told us we would definitely be able to play music and use the mic at the same time with no issues. We played music on the speakers and they worked fine at this point. We made sure that speakers, mic, projector, etc were all included in the 'package' we were paying for. Day of the event - MIC ISSUES: 1) The mic is completely broken and literally scotch-taped together. The top piece of the mic kept coming off and we had to constantly put it back together. 2) Mic was so bad it kept cutting out when someone was trying to talk. You had to hold the wire a certain way or it wouldn't work at all. 3) When we started doing entrances, the management all of a sudden says that we are unable to use both the mic to announce families and also play music at the same time. When we brought this up with the daughter, she lied and said no one had asked her about this, despite being there when we met up to get details confirmed. We called her about this and she had nothing to say. They told us we had to unplug the mic from the speaker EVERY TIME we wanted to play music, then plug it back in if we wanted to talk. SPEAKER ISSUES: 1) The management provided us with an aux cable that was also broken! The daughter tried to say that all our phones were messed up, and that it would work fine on her laptop. She plugged the cable into her laptop and it still didn't work. We ended up having to buy our own aux cable from a local grocery store. 2) The plug-in for the aux cable on the back of the speaker was also broken! It only worked if the wire is held a certain way. 3) Speakers were terrible and had extreme feedback, echo and buzz, which none of the staff knew how to fix! I had to go and fix THEIR equipment! Neither father nor daughter had any idea how anything worked. The buzz never went away. 4) Speakers were not loud enough for everyone in the venue to hear. We literally had to yell into the mic for guests in the back. LAPTOP ISSUES: Management explicitly told us we were NOT allowed to bring our own laptop(s) for use for the event, and that we had to use theirs 1) The daughter's laptop they provided had a broken headphone jack that required someone to hold onto the wire a certain way at all times 2) She left and took her laptop home 2 hours early!!! When I asked about this, the owner just said 'She has to do her homework and we don't want YOU GUYS to mess up her laptop' ..... I asked how it would get messed up when all we were doing is using YouTube, to which he had no response and just smiled. When we brought up all these issues with the owner, he said 'You should've bought the DJ package I suggested' instead of acknowledging that literally ALL his cheap equipment is broken! VENUE ISSUES: 1) The decor on the day of the wedding was NOT what we had requested and agreed on 2) Curtains were all wrinkled and not ironed 3) One of the chairs on the stage was BROKEN! 4) Management made us go and buy our own disposable cups after we paid for their glass/silverware! 5) Management told us they would set up table for wedding cake, but on the day of the event, he just pointed to an empty table and said 'You guys can use that one'. We had to pick it up and move it ourselves. Overall this was by far the worst experience we have ever had with a venue and it's management/staff. We will not be recommending it to anyone in the future, and if you are reading this, save yourself the embarrassment and headache and FIND ANOTHER VENUE!! read more

We celebrated our wedding at Empire Banquet Hall and it was exactly what we wanted for our Indian wedding ceremony and reception. The pricing was fair and worth the money. The hall is situated in the corner and perfect for a event requiring to play loud music. They have ample parking space too. Tony and Rimpey were very accommodating our requests. They stayed with us late in the night and again early morning the next day to make sure we've everything we need for decorating. They even surprised us with their Empire pizza while we were decorating for the event and it was delicious. They were available throughout the wedding too to make sure everything went well. They have vast decoration items to make your event grandeur. These decoration items are definitely their USP. We definitely recommend this place from small to big and business to social events. read more

I visited this place to get a quote and seriously think the owner should do a crash course on business etiquette and communication. Over the hone he gave me an all inclusive quote of $X and when I visited him in person to get into the details he started asking additional money for everything that ideally should have been included as "all-inclusive". He started asking money for using plasma , TV and insisted on using his own DJ. Morever he refused to allow food from one of the renowned restaurant in Bothell due to his personal differences with the owner. Extremely Unprofessional. And then additional money for table decorations, hall decorations..andthe list goes on. What pissed me off was he was not willing to document all the details and wanted to keep agreement verbal. When someone is not willing to follow the documentation process, it surely means trouble so we decided to opt out of this place and think did the right thing by going to Royal Banquet Hall. So if you are thinking of this place make sure you have a written contract with every minute detail documented to avoid surprises. read more

We recently hosted a celebration/party for our Daughter on Saturday February 1st and the party was an outstanding success. All the components of the party including the Food, Decorations, Cocktail Bartender, Waitstaff, DJ were above and beyond our expectations. We received wonderful feedback from our friends and family that the party was fantastic and expertly executed. We are incredibly grateful that the party was such a great success!!!
