It's a nice touch. We got Takeout pizza on the latest visit and went with the Detroit style base. There are many options to choose from but we got half - "Marketplace Sotheby's" which includes jalapenos, bacon, pepperoni and pineapple if you want. And half "Bo Knows" which has mozzarella, basil, oregano and more. I loved the pizza, it's not the best pizza I've had for sure or even the best Detroit style but, it's definitely good. He steered us toward an appetizer of clams in tomato sauce. For the main course, he suggested the pasta with salmon. Both were excellent. Throughout the meal, Dave checked in at just the right moments--never hovering, never disappearing, always making sure we had what we needed. The kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without ever feeling managed. All in all, a terrific first visit, made even better by someone who clearly takes pride in the place. My lucky day, the rotating slice was Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapeños, a personal favorite. It also happened to be wing Wednesday, so $.50 each order all you want. My fault for not reading the menu, the wings are fire roasted, not fried. So I have to grade the wings based on exactly what they promised, not what I wished they were. Spice level is great and the wings are super tender. All in for a slice, wings and an IPA $23 including tip. First time won't be the last time.
