There is also more gravel rather than lawn, which limits the usable space of the "backyard". The water views are still lovely and the bushes, flowers, shrubbery nice and well-maintained. Years ago, we were unable to use our own caterers without a lot of negotiation, additional costs and proof of insurance, not to mention covering the costs of the caterers transportation (which we offered to do). The staff over a decade ago felt impersonal and stand-offish, unfriendly and not wishing to be bothered by confirming reservations, nor addressing any questions we had in regards to our wedding day and the property. I hope things have gotten better, and that the people one works with now are more communicative, friendly and happy/willing to help.

We…read morebooked her for day of coordination services after having a zoom meeting to get to know each other a bit and found her to be a great fit for us. We had 1 zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted and she provided a spreadsheet to help us with planning and creating our schedule. We then also had an in person meeting 1 month before the wedding to discuss the plan for the big day. Meghan had great input while being considerate of our needs. She is extremely punctual and organized and made sure to keep us on track throughout both our rehearsal and the day of. On the wedding day she asked me maybe a total of 3 questions about decor adjustments and otherwise I just sat back and let her take the wheel. She did an amazing job helping set up decor, keeping the wedding party organized, communicating with vendors, and keeping everyone on schedule. She was present throughout the night whenever we needed her and made sure to direct us where we needed to go and when. I didn't have to think about the itinerary at all and was able to just sit back and enjoy the day with my husband, family, and friends. At the end of the night we headed out and she helped pack everything up along with some of our family so we could just go enjoy our wedding night without any worries. Overall, I would 100% recommend Meghan for anyone looking for someone organized, a good problem solver, and also a kind/down to earth personality. The wedding day went super smooth and everything was so well organized that we were able to start the ceremony a few minutes early. Meghan helped the whole day and night move forward smoothly and it would have been so much harder without her. She started cleaning up elements of the ceremony ahead of time so that by the time the night was coming to a close clean up was fast for our family and friends.     Amanda offers the creation of memory bears from deceased loved ones on her website. I decided to…read morecontact her to inquire about her current production status. She confirmed that she still creates these bears. We arranged for the clothing to be sent to her, and she confirmed receipt in December. She estimated a three-week turnaround time, and by the end of January, I reached out to check on the project's progress. She promptly responded, stating that she would complete the project by the end of the week. Two weeks later, I checked back for an update, but she had not responded. I have since reached out to her twice more without receiving a response. Now I feel like we may never be getting these bears or getting the clothes back of our loved one. The clothes came from the other side of the world (Southeast Asia) and is impossible to replace.

That being said, I do feel it's important to share my experience, so that other brides can hire a different wedding coordinator that will provide a more positive experience. After my initial call with Amanda, I looked forward to working with her. Shortly afterwards however, she became unresponsive for weeks despite repeated communication attempts. Eventually, Amanda apologized for not responding and offered to provide a complimentary floral preservation service, encasing my wedding flowers in resin, as a gesture of goodwill. I thought this was great and felt like she had handled the situation very well. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, there were a number of things she promised to do, but either forgot to do or did wrong (i.e. gave the boutonierres to the wrong people, did not bring the microphone speaker for our officiant, etc.). These were minor errors though, so I did not think much of it and let it go. The concerning issue is that Amanda took my wedding flowers three months ago and never returned them. I have reached out to her multiple times. She initially responded saying she would bring the preserved flowers to me on a particular day, but that day came and went. She never showed up, ignored multiple follow-up attempts, and has stopped responding altogether. I think it goes without saying that losing my wedding flowers is extremely upsetting, as they carried tremendous sentimental value. I want to stress that my husband and I have been kind, patient, and understanding throughout this process. I know people go through tough times, but it takes two minutes to text a client and be honest about the status of an order. Amanda--if you read this, I sincerely hope you are doing well. If you respond, please do not share excuses, but rather just let me know if or when I will ever receive my floral preservation.

We had the pleasure of working with New Creations Wedding/Rebecca Grant for not one, but TWO of our weddings. We had initially planned our wedding overseas but had to cancel the wedding due to COVID in 2020. I reached out to a dozen wedding planners in the local area, with no luck finding someone who could help us plan a COVID-friendly wedding. Rebecca, however, quickly accepted the task. Unfortunately, that plan also changed when further COVID restrictions limited the number of guests. We decided to book Rebecca to plan our beautiful elopement on Whidbey Island and had her marry us. She even managed to tell the weather to give us a gorgeous day in October!!! One year later, and with a baby on the way, we decided it might be a good idea to try to have a wedding celebration - FINALLY. We had zero ideas of what we wanted but knew we needed Rebecca to take over all details because our focus was planning for the baby. Rebecca made sure we got as many decisions out of the way as possible early on to have a wedding-free postpartum period. When it came closer to the wedding, this is where I witnessed her magic in finalizing every detail, communicating clearly with every vendor, and making the wedding finally happen. Additionally, she gracefully managed our guest count, which went from 100-130 to 175. I barely had time to spend a minute of my mind-space on the wedding because of our new family and often questioned myself, "why was I planning a wedding?" but man, did Rebecca deliver the most stunning, chic, and fun party. The circumstances around our wedding experience were not common, planning a wedding while trying to raise a new baby, but I would not hesitate to hire Rebecca again. There are so many details about a wedding that you don't even think about until you are in it, when you realize, "I'm so happy I hired Rebecca to take care of this." Rebecca is someone you can trust to get the work done; you will be wowed by what she delivers.

Our contract dissolved since we had to cancel our wedding, and I thought that was the end of our relationship. Without hesitation, though, they reached out to all of my vendors to gather information about cancellations, rescheduling, etc. It was such a headache even thinking about the work it took to cancel this event. Now that I am able to look back at all the responses received by vendors, I am relieved that I hired some of the vendors that Perfectly Posh recommended because they were the most accommodating during this pandemic. I know this is largely influenced by the strong working relationship they maintain with vendors. She was more than capable. Her staff are equally brilliant to work with. The other element is finding someone you can trust. Based on our conversation, this company soul purpose is to make your wedding perfect. They expect things to go sideways and are adept at handling any disaster. Also, they aren't money grubbers that will look for any excuse to keep your money if things need adjustments. They want your experience to be easy and full of happiness. My husband and I wound up making other plans but the 5 star this company has is well earned.

I've stayed with them multiple times and each time it has been just amazing. They're located in the city of Poulsbo, WA on a working 17 acre farm. It's a private farm that you can pet everything from Pigmy Goats to sheep....to their two wonderful dogs (Hank and Abby). It's very close to downtown historic Poulsbo and easy to find (look for the big sign at the entrance to their property), with a lengthy dirt driveway to their house. Once you arrive, you're usually met by one or both of your hosts...welcoming you to their nice quiet property. Attached are photos from this visit...make sure to give them a try!

In the first 2 minutes of my conversation with the owners, I felt as if we were long term friends. That extended to the time I arrived and quite frankly my entire experience. The room was ultra comfortable with fireplace, separate outdoor egress with wonderful views, coffee maker and cable/internet. I could have breakfast (which was outstanding) anytime I wanted and they were so flexible and friendly. This will be my preferred location whenever I come out - hopefully with my wife who was so jealous when I showed her the pictures.
