Kita however was still on my mind so I decided to make an appointment and boy am I sure glad I did. Kita just has it, there's something so special about her and her boutique. She made me and my girls feel so comfortable and welcomed. I walked in to country music playing because she asked my girls my favorite type of music. She had hot tea and water, a kiosk where you can pull up dresses, your style, your venue, anything. We literally walked outside after our appointment and all said we love her! She doesn't hover over you or make you feel pressured into buying something. She says I'm here as much as you need me so you say the word and she'll be right there to assist you. One really cool thing is she takes the time to sanitize the dresses between each appointment. Kita hands down topped the other two places I went. Like I said she just has the magic touch! I will recommend her over and over. Side note, she's also an event planner! I booked my wedding planner but if I hadn't already, Kita would definitely have been my choice. You can tell she knows her stuff which I think helps even more when helping you find your dream gown. So how much do I love this place? I'm buying two dresses. Morgan Sound is primarily a business to business business company. So voice phone them to see if they can solve your problem before assuming they can solve your problem. In the professional world, Harmon International-Samsung dominates. JBL was absorbed into Harmon. JBL, still today, has support voice lines answered by humans and a web list of authorized professional service centers by geography. I contacted my local (Portland, Oregon) authorized professional JBL service center. "Well we are backed up for 12 weeks and our minimum evaluation charge is [expensive]." Basically that Portland, Oregon business does not want more business. It is understandable, with the shortage of skilled specialized professional technicians, no fault, no blame. So it was worth it to spend $60 per round trip to travel to Seattle for better service. I'm sure Morgan could provide the service by shipping too. I had several problems to solve with a vintage pair of JBL professional monitors similar to today's JBL L100 classic. I bought them used and these were reputedly used and abused by a professional producer of a famous band. One woofer had a rip in the cone from being overworked, and one mid had some crinkles in the cone and a big wrinkle at the edge. So I brought the woof to Morgan. After I dropped it off for evaluation, I was in my vehicle doing some phone stuff and the repair professional ran out saying they found an original new old stock cone kit in their inventory. Today many 40+ year old speakers rely on reproduction spare parts. In the JBL pro world, they actually did (and do) speaker engineering using exotic test equipment. I bought these old speakers because I recorded on them professionally in my early career, so understand how they translate. At that time, JBL used paper cones with Aquaplas elastomeric coating. Aquaplas is not made anymore, though there are reproductions of unknown equivalence. Morgan had the original cone replacements with original Aquaplas. Picking up my newly reconed woof, I brought in my suspect crinked mid which had an exotic cone material. They were, "checked, we have the original recone kit for that, and we can do it while you wait, for this price. It's speced in our year 2000 JBL repair manuals for both the H2 and H3 speaker variations." That's service! They run incoming speakers and repair results through a tone listening test. In my observation, they have at least 3 repair staff. A senior person, mid-Zach, and young-Zach. I dealt with young-Zach. They all are recommended. Morgan Sound, hang on to young-Zach. Every interaction I had with him was stellar. I'm sure it would be the same for all your service staff. While I was there, the senior person was working on a Genelec. That company, based in Finland, is one of the top 5 professional makers of recording studio monitors in the world. Morgan seems to be best with voice calling. Morgan Sound provides professional services at a reasonable price including professional speaker reconing for professional speakers.
