Their communication was spot on and they even met with us to get the songs ready for my wedding. In that meeting they went over songs that shouldn't be played at the wedding. Before my wedding day they called me to tell me they couldn't play my walking down the isle song. I panicked because I loved that song within a minute they said they could actually play it. On my wedding day they barely tried to get a microphone to my ceremony so that our guest could hear. They played EVERY song that I said not to. To top it off the DJ asked if they could take our cupcakes to give to the homeless. Feeling uncomfortable, those who were putting them away obliged. My husband and I were extremely bummed with the way the DJ was on our wedding day. I would not recommend this place!

I found this company's website and saw that they had the prices listed for the covers and the sashes, but you need to fill out an inquiry for a quote on delivery charge. I did this as well as emailing the email address listed on their "Contact" page on JANUARY 31st. As you can see in the attached screenshot, I am just now getting a response back on MARCH 14th. This is SIX weeks for an answer to a very simple question. Turns out they don't even deliver to my venue so that should have been an even more straight forward answer to figure out. Georgia does apologize for the delay in her response, and I am generally very understanding, but I feel that six weeks is just too much. At that point, she may as well not respond at all, wedding planning is a very busy season and no one has 6 weeks to wait on info before making a decision. If it had been a genuine mistake, oversight, or unusual circumstances that she felt guilty about then she would have responded saying they will be offering a discount for wasting my time or something along those lines. But the fact that SIX WEEKS was just shrugged off as a normality shows that this company is seriously lacking in their communication and/or organizational skills. Neither of which I want to deal with when planning something as stressful as a wedding. From my experience in researching and communicating with chair cover rental companies, I would definitely recommend L & M Chair Covers. Every time I reached out, Lizz was extremely timely and helpful. She went above and beyond by offering her personal cell number for more convenient communication, texting me back even while she was on vacation to send pictures from past events so I could see the exact fit of her covers on the type of chair my venue has. She also seems very flexible about pricing. She offered a 0.30 discount per item, and free delivery charge. This may not seem significant but it definitely adds up! She also offered to mail me a small sash sample so I could see the color in person. When trying to plan color schemes with only seeing everything online this is such an awesome option. Arturo was eloquent and ran the wedding perfectly. The music set up and lights were very well done. We had a four hour open bar and we did not experience any issues and everyone had a great time. For anyone considering having Arturo at your wedding as a DJ, you should definitely do it. His rates are reasonable and my husband (military) is a fine detail type planner so he kept us to budget - after discussions with all the various services, Arturo was (a) mature, (b) moderately priced, (c) had his own equipment and set up, and (d) was respectful. The number one issue my husband had when talking to DJ's were that they were (a) young and distasteful in approach and (b) nickel and dimed over every detail. If we have another party in the future we will be contacting Arturo again.

You showed up to our event un prepared: this included not having your lights that we had agree upon, a missing extension cord and not putting together our playlist. You left to retrieve your lights causing you to be almost 30 minutes late to the event, and on the phone on your way back you requested an extension cord from the facility. Not following clear instructions: I had sent you a play list several weeks in advance was not played. You told my husband that you had intended on formulating it upon arrival. The playlist also requested that no songs with profanity be played, and this was also not followed. There was an overabundance of ABBA played, such that our friends are now calling it the "ABBA party." Unprofessional conduct: The bar tender told me that she had to "cut you off" from the alcohol served at the party. I'm not sure what is typical in your profession, but in my profession any drinking on the job is unacceptable. Additionally, when I tried to speak with you at the end of the evening to express my dissatisfaction, instead of apologizing, you were defensive and argumentative, possibly because of the alcohol, but regardless in appropriate. As someone in the customer service industry, I am particularly aware and sensitive to dealing with clients and going above and beyond to make a client happy. Perhaps this is something for you to think about in the future. I hope you take some lessons from this experience, I know I will. Cherie

He kept the energy high from the moment he stepped into the property until he left late that evening. He kept all of our guests engaged and the day running smoothly. He also took care of us on a personal level, making sure we had time to eat and stayed hydrated! Our DJ, Micah, was also fantastic.
