I rented a speaker package for an outdoor waterfront wedding reception. Paul was very helpful and made sure the package I chose was appropriate for the large outdoor space. He also set up the system at his office to show me how it all worked. Paul was extremely flexible for pickup and drop off as well. He saved me a trip by letting me pickup the system earlier than I had first requested. (I was in the area picking up guests that had flown in). I just gave him a call and he met me at his office after he was done with another delivery. The same goes for drop-off as I had a little too much fun at the party and wasn't going to make it Sunday afternoon like we had previously planned. I sent him a text and again Paul was extremely accommodating and allowed me to drop the speakers off the next morning instead. Overall awesome service and the speakers sounded great and were easy to setup. read more

Seattle Event Rentals - provided necessary items for a large cultural wedding. Sound was perfect, seats, tables really everything. They are by far the best in the northwest. Always on time very transparent and affordable. You will not find a better event rental provider. Trust me we went through 10 different rental companies before we decided on Seattle Event Rentals. read more

This place nearly ruined our special day We reserved sound equipment weeks in advance. The night before pickup, the guy sent an email that went to spam. We went to pick up that morning, and it was a storage facility! he didn't answer his phone for about a half an hour, and then when finally he did answer, he said that he wouldn't be available to meet us until 4:00 four, the time of the wedding! Call Guitar Center, they saved the day!! Avoid this!! read more

Paul was prompt in email conversations, getting our reservation squared away, and did a great job working out our scheduling needs. Paul dropped off & picked up everything at the times requested, very punctual and professional. We got 'The Party Package', and the equipment was exactly what we needed for our "DJ iPod" party, and everything worked great! read more

Paul was fantastic to work with. We had an event that we needed sound equipment for in less than 24 hours. He was able to accommodate all of our needs, work within our budget, and was extremely prompt and professional in his interactions. Highly recommended. read more

We contracted SER to provide a sound system (the "Party Package") for our wedding. They were able to provide us with the system, setup, and delivery for a more than reasonable price. Paul was prompt, courteous, and professional in communicating with us, and flexible in some last-minute changes to the order we had to make. In the end, the package was exactly what we needed, sounded great, and helped make the event a night to remember. read more

We needed sound equipment for a public meeting at Green Lake and contacted Seattle Event Rentals after receiving slow responses from other companies nearer to us. Seattle Event Rentals was prompt, very responsive in helping us understand our needs, and overall nice to work with. We ended up not needing SER's services in the end because, as it turned out, the host for our meeting had the necessary equipment. At that point, we offered to pay SER for the time they had spent working with us, but they declined, simply asking that we keep them in mind next time around. So, on top of their responsiveness and professionalism, SER was also very gracious. I can't imagine not using them next time around. read more

We used SER for sound equipment for our wedding in September. The equipment Paul brought and set up all worked great and the package was exactly what we needed. I'd give him 5 stars for actual quality of goods! After our wedding, we noticed that the price we were charged was greater than the amount agreed to in our contract. When we contacted him about this, he argued that the price he had set and signed off on in our contract wasn't fair for the services agreed upon and refused to issue a refund. Ultimately, he did apologize and refund us (at first just in part, then the rest), but still blamed us for somehow taking advantage by agreeing to the deal he offered. During this exchange, he was horribly unprofessional and rude to us. At the end of the day, I *would* recommend Seattle Event Rentals to others, but would definitely advise keeping a copy of your signed contract and checking it against the final charge. read more

This place is great. Paul is super proactive and helpful. Pretty easy to arrange pickup and drop-off. The price was reasonable, we got exactly what we needed. It's really nice to have the package deals as no one wants to find something incompatible or forget a piece. Everything worked as advertised. read more

I've rented with Paul multiple times and have always been impressed. His gear is in great working order and he goes above and beyond to make sure you know how to set everything up to have your party rockin' as needed. Super flexible for drop off/pick up. If only every company could be as easy to work with as this one! For sure will use them for all my PA rentals going forward. read more

I was driven to their website because of their easy and transparent pricing, and I'm glad I did because the service was fantastic! Paul was very flexible with our event timing and even let me borrow an iPhone adapter free of charge. I would recommend Seattle Event Rentals to anyone! read more

I submitted an estimate request via their website. In response, Paul sent me a copy of the company's contract agreement with a short note to contact him if I had any questions. I contacted him via email and left a voicemail and never received a response to either. I'm not impressed. read more

Perfect from start to finish. Paul was extremely prompt at responding to all my messages and easily accommodated all my requests. The website was easy to use and out of all the other places I contacted to rent a PA system, Seattle Event Rental was by far the best in organization, pricing and services offered. Paul delivered and set-up the equipment in a flash and the event went fabulously. Everything went smoothly all thanks to SER! read more

I reached out to Seattle Event Rentals (SER) back in November 2015 for a wedding that would take place in September 2016. In my experience, what immediately set SER apart from its competitors was that I didn't get any push back for seeking services so far in advance from the date of my event. SER's response was very prompt, courteous, and thorough and our interactions since then have continuously been easy and pleasant. SER's customer service is superior and Paul certainly stands behind his services and his standard of keeping things "easy". He doesn't push to up-sell you on his packages/offers instead he will take the time to listen to what you're seeking and then offer a solution for you to consider. He doesn't badger you or spam your inbox and his responses are always quick, thorough, and professional. read more

If you're having an event in Seattle or surrounding area, this is the place to call for all of your audio visual needs. Paul, the owner, setup an awesome sound and video system in a craft brewery that had nothing more than a power supply and he helped put our event over the top. Well priced, reliable and a real pleasure. We would use him again in a heartbeat! read more

We used Seattle Event Rentals for our recent wedding ceremony and reception in Woodinville, WA. Paul was fantastic to work with! He was professional, reliable, and able to accommodate us on short notice as well! The audio equipment was high quality, and everything our out-of-town DJ needed for a great party! He provided delivery, setup, sound check, and breakdown, all at a very reasonable rate! I would highly recommend SER for any future audio equipment rentals! read more

Paul promptly and clearly answered all my questions and was flexible and kind with every request and information request. This is definitely the best service I have received while I was shopping around with their transparent and functional website and party packages, as well as the fact that they include all needed cables! The event I was planning fell through and Paul was understanding about it which is a great feeling while being among planning stress! read more

Paul recommended the equipment package that best suited our needs (and saved us money), was super helpful, and provided additional support when we were setting it up. I'll rent again from Paul for our next party. Highly recommended. read more

Seattle Event Rentals is definitely the way to go for all your sound needs! Our sound system plan for our wedding fell through five days out and we found ourselves scrambling to find a rental situation that would work. Seattle Event Rentals was super easy to interface with, from the initial quote to communicating about delivery and pickup. Paul was so kind and accommodating, and fun to work with! The system was easy to set up (according to our DJ) and sounded fantastic. We boogied the night away without a care in the world. The rates they charge are also *super* reasonable compared to anyone else in town. Seattle Event Rentals pretty much knocked it out of the park! read more

I used Seattle Event Rentals for my work holiday party. We needed a sound system to go with our music. They were able to provide us with a great system (on short notice too!) and delivered/set up for us as well. Paul made sure that we knew what devices would be compatible with his mixers so we could use our playlists. Payment was easy, he didn't even ask me for it prior, just took it on the spot. He arrived on-time, had a very kind and positive attitude and was just overall great to work with. When we were done he happily came back and took it all away. What great service! We will use them from now on whenever we have the need. Thanks Paul! read more

Paul was great to work with for our wedding. We got the "Party Package", and were really pleased with both the price & the equipment quality. Paul did a great job of setting expectations for what the setup process would look like (we had guests with a lot of sound equipment experience, so we decided to do our own setup, and he was very careful to check that we knew what we were getting into). read more

I will add to the accolades given here and say that my experience with SER was very positive. I had a last minute need to rent an outdoor PA system and Paul was very responsive in attending to my request. Pickup and return were both very easy and I was in constant contact with Paul via email, phone, and text. He even threw in an aux cable free of charge when I said we had to plug in a keyboard to the system. I think the rental agreement called for returning equipment by 1pm the next day, but Paul was very flexible and allowed us to make a return anytime during the day without penalty. Highly recommended for anyone needed to rent audio equipment. read more

I worked with Paul from SER to rent the DJ equipment for my 30th High School Reunion! I am so glad I did! Paul was amazing to work with! The pricing was extremely fair! Paul bent over backwards to support me when I had questions about setting up the equipment when arriving at the venue. He was immediately available and quickly answered all questions. The DJ equipment was very high quality and sounded amazing. Very professional. I recommend SER with my highest praise! Paul, thank you! read more

The company I work for does events. A client wanted a sound system in one of our venues that we currently didn't have a sound system in a couple days before the event. In a scramble I found Seattle event rentals and I was so excited because Paul said he could help. The day before the event we are still trying to pay for the equipment and at 10 AM Paul says he will be in the office at 12 and that he will call us to take CC info. At 2 we start calling every 30 minutes to pay. Nothing. No explanation. All of our attempts to pay were met by a voicemail. We ended up finding a MUCH better company that said they could deliver and took our money on the spot. Guess Paul didn't need the business? read more

Accusing your customer of intimidation simply because the customer ask for assistance in getting the equipment set up is not good customer service by any stretch. Had I not witness this myself, it would be hard to believe. Paul is short-sighted in thinking that a dissatisfied customer can be shouted into submission. I will never rent any equipment from this guy. read more
