Stopped by Boulted Bread over the weekend and it did not disappoint. When you arrive there is limited parking available on the street, otherwise I'd park in the nearby lot. Walking up to the bakery you'll likely see a line out the door. Don't let this line turn you away as it moves quickly and a sign that this bakery is popular. When we walked in it felt artsy, industrial, and bustling. For pastries I ordered the everything croissant with cream cheese inside and the morning bun. Both pastries were excellent and had great flavor. I'd have to lean toward the morning bun for being my favorite due to the flakey layers and flavor. If you are in the Boylan Heights area definitely check out Boulted Bread.

4.5. Cool spot! There was a pretty long line on a Saturday morning but it moved quickly. I got a morning bun and an iced oat milk latte. Both were good! The morning bun had just the right amount of citrus and caramelized sugar on the bottom. I also got some new sourdough starter which I was really excited about - it made for a delicious loaf. It was a little tricky to get a table, but a cool spot. I'll be back!

We went this morning excitement so glad to say that this all of my expectations. I had the pear jam pastry, my partner had a ham and cheese croissant and our little one had the cinnamon roll. They have fresh milk for sale from dairy farm in Juliet, nc, the coffees are incredible! It was super busy so you have to wait a little for a table, but the pastries are so incredible that it's worth the wait! The ambience feels like an industrial bakery, but it's inviting and cozy. You can tell. It's a wonderful neighborhood spot where people meet up every day. It's definitely recommend it if you're not yet visited. And if you're looking for a place to get your fresh bread weekly then I highly suggest this space.

All I can say is wow! I have heard nothing but great things about this place and it certainly lived up to my expectations. Upon getting there, the line thankfully wasn't that long but it is such a cozy spot. My only gripe is that there are definitely not enough seats (which is telling to how good this place is). I got an assortment of things - a chocolate croissant, everything croissant, morning bun and a cheddar scone (not the name for it but that's my best shot at a description). The croissants were incredible - both flaky, light and with the right amount of "chew". My only complaint with the chocolate croissant was that it was so fresh that the chocolate basically shot out of the other end when eating it. The everything croissant was amazing. It was filled with a scallion cream cheese which to me, was heavenly. The morning bun was definitely more indulgent and heavy, but still incredible. The layers were fluffy and had exactly the right amount of sugar and zest. Finally, the cheddar scone was awesome. I think I would've enjoyed this as a breakfast sandwich to be honest with you but it has layers like a biscuit and such a kick of spice at the end of the bite, it was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try everything else that they offer!

I'm becoming surprisingly obsessed with boulders bread. They have delicious coffee, pastries and fresh breads. The service is always good and quick and it's really nice to chill inside and watch the bread making in the works while you enjoy your coffee. I'll definitely keep coming back for more, it's definitely not just a hype.

While the bread was spectacular, I don't know that it was worth standing in line for. The coffee was well done. The bread in the raspberry chocolate pastry was so stunning that the filling felt distracting in comparison. I'd be back to buy loaves of bread from here. The morning bun, however, was underwhelming.

The morning bun is my absolute favorite. Coffee is 10/10 especially the lavender flavoring but all of it is delish. Any pastry I've ever gotten I haven't been disappointed. So clean and such a cute spot. They also have drinks in the fridge, but if you are wanting to get a coffee, expect to wait a little bit.

One of the best bakeries in Raleigh! There can be a long line on the weekends, but it moves pretty quick - even if you order a specialty coffee, it's not too long of a wait. I really appreciate the mixture of both sweet and savory pasties. The menu rotates seasonally with special offerings on the weekends - there is always something new and unique to try!

When you approach the street your senses are overwhelmed by the delicious smell of freshly baked bread and pastries. We knew we were close when we inhaled the good bread smells. We came in on a Saturday around 11:30am so a lot of the pastries were already sold out, but we snagged an everything croissant and chocolate croissant for breakfast. Both were well crafted, flakey, and delicious. We loved making a trip here and would absolutely come back earlier next time!

Eggplant Parmesan

First time here-Wow! I got the eggplant Parmesan croissant and it was for real one of the best things I have ever eaten!! Now I see the line is out the door!

Any vegan pastries?

Alas, no. Thanks for asking. Their bialys are vegan, but they are savory and chewy, not sweet and tender. I hope someday they expand to vegan pastries. If anyone thinks this can't be done amazingly well, check out the Bklyn Bakery in Durham.

The chocolate brownie is thick and rich, but not too sweet, and the marshmallow cream is divine, especially with the ice cream. A lot of their drinks and gin based, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I always find something I can enjoy. The service is great and relatively quick, and everyone I've met there is kind and willing to help. The inside is a bit small, so smaller crowds are better and it does tend to get crowded later in the evening and on weekends. The outside street sitting area is nice too and hopefully will be fully fixed soon. Overall a great places to stop for drinks and desserts after a nice meal! The café has a seating area if you want to dine in, though I ordered to go. When you enter, the display cases showcase the day's creations of artisanal pastries and savory gourmet sandwiches. The service was incredibly friendly, and the staff member carefully packaged my order so nothing would shift. I tried five of their signature macarons--Apple Cheesecake, Maple Vanilla, Earl Grey Citrus, Root Beer, and Pomegranate -- and also got a Rice Krispies treat with chocolate, a traditional éclair, and a rich brownie. These are definitely not your ordinary desserts; they are high-quality, masterfully executed works of art, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. They also offer a full selection of coffee and other premium beverages. While I lucked out with a spot near the shop, keep in mind that downtown street parking can be tight at times.

To order you'll walk up to the counter and place your order. Once your order is placed you'll grab a seat wherever there is an open table. For coffee I ordered the vanilla latte and my partner ordered the iced caramel latte. The vanilla had a nice balance of flavor and the ceramic cup was a nice touch. For pastries my partner ordered the cookie and the ham & cheese croissant. Both were excellent, with the cookie being more of a shortbread cookie with dark chocolate and the croissant having great flavor and plenty of ham and cheese. I ordered the Nun'Ya Biscuit which was like nothing I've ever ordered before. It was a biscuit seasoned with smoked cheddar cheese, breakfast sausage, scallions, and complete with sausage gravy inside the biscuit. You definitely need to order the Nun'Ya Biscuit if you stop by Lucettegrace. Definitely looking forward to our next time visiting Lucettegrace. Highly recommend checking out this coffee shop if you are in Downtown Raleigh.

There are several other businesses that share the small parking lot, so parking is slim. It's super cute and cozy inside with a few tables. There's also a few tables outside. I was greeted right away by the awesome staff. My daughter and I both ordered iced coconut lattes, she has a 12oz, I had a 16oz, and I ordered a slice or coffee cake to go. After my first sip, I wished there was a 24 oz. That was the best iced latte ever!!! The coffee cake was so perfect, but made me wish I had a hot latte to accompany it...I'll have to go back!! Whatever preconceived look she was expecting I don't know. I'm not expecting anyone to smile like I'm someone's long lost relative, but I am hoping in this world to be treated with kindness that I offer as well. Civility would be welcome. I honestly felt like they couldn't wait for me to leave the store which is a very odd and uncomfortable experience. Oddly enough, the case was kind of empty. They had their signature cinnamon rolls and pecan buns, which are always on point, but the vibe was really off today.

I did not like it a lot so we took it off and it made the cake taste a lot better. There were not super strong hints of the cheesecake flavor, but it tasted fine. I wish the Breakfast Croissant had a type of meat in it, but it was still good. The croissant was very buttery and large. I would probably rate this spot a 3.5/5 stars if I could. The food I got did not impress me too much, but I would love to give them another shot and try their other pastries.
