I messaged CVS and the pharmacy technician who called back spent considerable time telling me how busy they were and that they would get back to me when they could, but it would be awhile WTF? I told him if they want to get their rating above 2 stars, perhaps he could just say, "I'll help you as soon as I can, knowing this is your asthma medicine." I got a second phone call from a manager saying, "We'll try, but we're not promising anything. I go to this pharmacy because it's convenient - that's about it. It's not even two stars.

It's also much cleaner and organized. No wonder Ellen De Generes filmed a segment of their show here with Michelle Obama. The biggest surprise was for me to be helped by two of their employees. First, I went to the kiosk to see if there's any coupons I can use but the machine didn't print anything. I found a guy in one of the registers who helped get my coupons printed. Then I proceeded to the pharmacy to look for an item but I didn't find any so I went to look for an associate who was on the next aisle. I told him what I was looking for and he actually walked in the right section.

I waited several minutes after being ignored and said "hello". Startled, a woman in the middle of conversation (couldn't tell if it was on the phone or another person there) turned around and said " I'm at lunch" then turned around after snubbing me. I then asked "I'm hear to pick up medicine I've been notified about for a few days". She turned around again and said, "I'm at lunch (in a very annoyed voice). I then said, "but I've already entered my information.....on the check in??". She then said,"our computers are down...". Then I said,"if the computers are down, why am I able to use your computer to check in?". She said," come back at 4am." Now, I'm not sure how lunches work but if she gets an hour and half - 2 hour lunch, I'm applying for a job. I explained that I'm disabled and can't come back. Then, she said,"come back at 4am." continuing to snub me when under her breath she said "GO AWAY". She didn't think I heard her but I did. Here's what's going to happen today. Either I get my medication delivered, and she gets fired, or I'm ending our 30 year relationship and taking not only my business somewhere else AND taking as many people as I can with me. Better make a decision fast. If this will allow I'll post the receipt from my visit after I was insulted and still spent money at the other register with your company. Through the receipt you should be able to find me. Or, you can check your system to see when I checked in at the pharmacy. The woman I'm referring to DOES work in the pharmacy and I believe may have been Asian with dark hair in a pony tail. Check your cameras and you'll know who I'm talking about. This is beyond an apology so don't bother. She needs to go. It's not the information I'm angry about. It's how she interacted with me and how she said the things she said. They have easy parking with a shared lot in the Sprouts shopping plaza, also known as the Burbank Media Center plaza alongside Robeks, Starbucks w drive thru, Zankou, Crust Artisan Bakery and other gems. Not usually at this location as often, but when I am I pop in for small essentials and those great grab and go items. Service is friendly and mindful. I can't speak to the pharmacy, but rarely seems overwhelmed. Well organized and stocked as echoed by a few. Classic touristy sections and items, Burbank being in one of the big media parts of Greater Los Angeles. Kiosk for Lottery, CVS Rewards and the ATM are all positioned perfectly and easy to access. Cold stuff is on the far right side of near beer, wine and spirits. They only have one entrance and exit, through the same automatic sliding doors, which feels like a little bit of a hazard, but also helps with los prevention. Open everyday at 6am until midnight, pharmacy hours vary, but generally open by 9 or 10 am.

I was not able to get my meds. That very day, out of the kindness of their hearts, the OWNER went out of his way to deliver them himself on a Saturday with a couple of hours' notice. SPECTACULAR. My medication is regularly not ready when I'm told it should be ready, and trying to get an update over the phone is almost impossible because the pharmacy frequently does not answer. When you depend on a pharmacy for medication, you should be able to rely on them to have prescriptions ready when promised or at the very least be able to reach someone by phone to find out what is going on. Having to repeatedly call, wait, and still not get an answer is incredibly frustrating. I understand pharmacies can get busy and delays sometimes happen, but when the same problems keep happening over and over, something needs to change. This location seriously needs to improve its pharmacy staffing, communication, and prescription turnaround times. I would not recommend this pharmacy if you need your medication filled reliably and on time.
