Really nice hotel in a great area with views. Very close to a lot of things. I was in town for work and this was a very pleasant stay. The WeWork was conveniently located right across the street. There's also a Sprouts supermarket and a lot of good options around the way. The steak and risotto in the downstairs restaurant were amazing Bar tender was a really nice guy too. 5th floor balcony with a Mountain View.

Solid Marriott with really friendly, to the point they are cheerful, and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, quiet and showing some signs of wear. But clean overall. Lots of shops, restaurants and grocery just outside the front door.

Nice easy weekend at The Boulder Marriott! Classic Marriott style, fireplace, great coffee, American breakfast, and Super Bowl banter in background!! Lobby is full of lounging spaces, low and high top tables, comfy couches, and personal dining trays. Staff is attentive and personable and quick with a conversation! What a great American Weekend - Valentines and the Super Bowl!! Marriott is celebrating both!!

I had to go to Boulder for a family emergency. Staying here was my respite from what was happening. Everyone was so nice, they are practicing very good Covid precautions, my room was spacious and clean. I asked for a room with a view and she gave me one. I was able to use the pool all to myself by reserving it. It just could not have been better.

Stayed here recently for work. From the outside, the hotel looks a little dated, but once inside it is clear it underwent a great remodel to make it more modern. The new rooms are nice. I loved that the glass doors towards the outdoors opened to get fresh air. The showers are great. The lobby bar was ok. Nothing special, but an open welcoming space with a pool table and several TVs. The club room was nice and large. Plenty of places to hang out and work while enjoying the free beverages and breakfast. It is centrally locates. Strangely located in the parking lot of a grocery store and some other shopping that has clearly grown up around it, but a short drive or bike ride to Pearl Street, CU and several local breweries.

The property itself seemed recently redone and was pretty nice. The DETAILS, however, left a lot to be desired. The front desk people wore casual out to dinner clothes (while everyone else was full Marriott attired). There was a pile of puke in the garage for at least 24 hours (and mandated $20 garage parking even with the restaurants closed and all the ground level spots were open). Stains on furniture and garbage in the halls that never moved. Could be a star, but needs some serious polishing.

I didn't get a chance to stay here, but came here for a conference. They were nothing but great! Starting from walking into the door, the concierge desk was courteous and helpful right away. The lobby has two fruit-infused waters that became my weekend addiction (you guys gotta try it)! The restrooms were clean and we each stall had a private sinks in them. The bar and restaurant were very friendly and served us free coffee until 10am everyday. The lounge area in the lobby was relaxing and inviting. The service and amenities here piqued my interest in staying here in the future.

Probably one of the worst rooms I've had in quite some time. Like many of the other complaints the rooms are gross. Maybe it's because it's only $100 a night for the most basic room and I guess you get what you pay for, but I feel like a hotel should feel like a hotel not a motel! The shower curtain was disgusting, the sink didn't drain, hair and fuzzies on bed sheet, stains on floor, cracks in the ceiling, and the outer side of the toilet looked to have dried up urine next to the bolts of the toilet. I can't express how unhappy I was! We were only staying a night so we made it work, but I will never go back. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Welcoming and courteous staff. Near the entrance is the M Club lounge, bar/restaurant, pool table in the lobby, and plenty of seats. Lounge has a espresso machine, snacks and drinks 24 hours. Serves basic breakfast. Couldn't try dinner due to weekend stay. Room is cozy and depending on the side your room is, you can get a view of the nearby mountain. Lots of retail stores within walking distance and within few miles. Highly recommend the Estes Park during winter.

The rooms are very ordinary, not as they appear when you are booking. It's also in a great location--very close to the University of Colorado Boulder and walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. The lobby is definitely the highlight--absolutely beautiful with intricate details, a vintage glass ceiling, and a grand, elegant feel that gives you a sense of the building's history. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was also well-maintained. The surrounding area felt safe, which we appreciated. That said, the room itself was a bit dark, which seems pretty typical for many American hotels. The biggest downside for us was the required valet parking. It meant we never really had easy access to our car unless we wanted to go through the hassle of requesting it every time. Because of that, we ended up just using Uber the whole stay. Personally, I would much rather just pay to park and have direct access to my own vehicle. To be fair, the valet staff were always very friendly and welcoming whenever we came and went. We also ran into some minor inconveniences--there didn't seem to be enough robes, towels, or washcloths available during our stay. Overall, it was fine for a short visit. The lobby is stunning and the location is excellent, but the valet situation alone would make me choose somewhere else next time.

The hotel lobby appears recently remodeled and has lots of space for seating. The outdoor patio is even bigger, with fire pits, and tons of room for sitting al fresco. Near the front desk is a grab and go store with various snacks, drinks, toiletries, medicine, etc. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. WiFi was efficient. The shower pressure was like getting hit by Niagara Falls and honestly I'm here for it! Only drawback for me was the loud air conditioning when it kicked in. Like, you had to increase the volume on the television, and then lower the volume when it stopped. I didn't take advantage of the amenities (pool, dining, gym) due to my work schedule. However we did hang out by the fire pits and these are a nice touch. Now, one of them wasn't working and the other was going in and out, but the fact they had them was a win. Personally not a fan of the parking situation underneath the hotel. It shares a lot with the other hotels and businesses, and the parking spaces are way too tight. Parking isn't included and charged to your room upon checkout. Pros are free coffee in the lobby, walking distance to The Buff and Twenty Ninth Street Mall, and overall an engaging staff willing to accommodate your needs. Would suggest this hotel for friends staying in Boulder!

The young lady at the front desk had to deal with me after I had not slept for 36 hours, I have to give her a very high rating for fixing my reservation and allowing me to sleep in one of the cabin room for one night instead of on a hostel cot in a unit with five other people. I did go out and make a reservation at a different establishment for the other two nights that I was going to stay in Boulder. Second of all, I just needed to sleep... So this was a perfect place to lay my head until the morning. The three stars is definitely for the staff as they were very kind and very accommodating. I don't know how to rate the room itself. The railing that led to my room was rickety so I did not use it to climb the stairs that were also questionable. The room itself and the bed and linen were clean, but the floor of the tub was so brown that I could not take a shower in it. The TV did not work, and there was no air-conditioning. They did supply a box fan, which I set up in front of the TV (that was not functional) and slept with the fan blowing on me all night. Yes, I was in Colorado, but during the summer it's as warm as Georgia! For those of you who hate your phone, this is the perfect place for you as there is NO... And I mean zero... Cell service. HVAC controls worked well. Comfortable bed. Only nitpick on physical plant is low water pressure for the shower and overly finicky control for shower temperature. The common space around the bar is well used and we enjoyed that there were often students studying together at some of the tables. Main floor/lobby area flows nicely and is open and spacious. The side of the bar that opens onto the large patio has a wall that retracts entirely, making the transition from indoor to outdoor smooth. Radiant heat on the outdoor portion of the patio makes the space comfortable even in cooler temperatures. Moxy Boulder is steps away from the CU campus and only a 20 minute walk to Pearl Street. The staff was incredibly friendly and the bar in the main lobby was well stocked with a small menu of curated (and expensive) cocktails many of which are very gin or bourbon based. The rooms themselves are incredibly tiny (think dorm room sized) with beds no larger than a queen. Additionally they have common area closets where you need to go for extra amenities such as lotion or extra pillows. Overall I don't mind the smaller more communal style experience but the cost should match and unfortunately it does not here, but if you want to stay in the heart of the campus this is a good choice.

I was attending a conference in downtown Boulder, but looking for inexpensive, yet safe, accommodation. The reviews for Boulder University Inn were remarkably good for the price point, so I booked. When we arrived, I was a bit skeptical given the outside appearance. It looked like an old motel. Checking in at the front desk was easy and pleasant enough. It felt like a small, old school motel, which was different than the big hotel chains I'm used to, but it had its own kind of charm. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The real charm came from the service though. Samantha was at the front desk and when my sister and I asked about the safety of the area (in terms of walking to Downtown Boulder and back, possibly at night), she gave us great info and made us feel comfortable. Beyond giving us a quick lay of the land, we were extremely thirsty after a long walk and she was so kind as to offer us some extra complimentary waters. I was thankful though that the bed and pillows were comfortable enough to sleep well in. The towels are rough and cheap or old maybe? The bathroom counter needed repair. Just overall not good. Upon first arrival to the inn we walked in to be greeted by one in tact and one half eaten small muffin on the food bar which I guess was the snack offering as it was on a little service dish not an individuals plate. Super uninviting. The parking was great though and appreciated. We did enjoy the Great Room a little while during our stay which was cozy. When we got back from our dinner on Friday evening just before 9pm we wanted a cup of hot tea for bed and there was no longer any hot water on the beverage bar. What a disappointment. I will also say the tea choices were worse than that at a Hampton Inn. Very basic and not even close to even what a mid level hotel offers. The breakfast was nice. Quiche looked amazing but by the time we came down to eat at 9:45 which I understand is 15 minutes before it ended - the warmer was off and the quiche was cold. We did grab a muffin which tasted like it was from Safeway or Costco but it helped as we were hungry. Instead we had to eat a light bite across the street at the cafe. Another disappointment. Overall what could and should have been a really special experience felt like a run down room with a mediocre breakfast experience.
