I have two different relationships to this place and both of them have been very positive experiences. I both work for a company that ends up working many events at this location and I also hosted my own wedding using this venue about two weeks ago. Being in both positions, I have had very positive experiences with the staff here and I think that's​ really saying something. All of the women who work here have been extremely kind and accommodating​ to me during me planning my wedding here. They answered all of my questions through email (and I had many since I was planning my own wedding) in timely and thoughtful manner, they were very flexible with vendors (outside of catering), they provided a list of approved catering vendors which led us to our caterer for the event which we loved, etc, etc. I could not be more thankful to the staff here for helping me create such a beautiful event and for helping the evening go seamlessly​. A wedding is a​ kind of thing (in theory) that only happens once and we are super lucky that we chose to work with a vendor that made that once in a lifetime night so special. I was here for a holiday group party. Cute little venue to host a small event. The catering service was good. The only downfall to the place was, there were only 2 unisex bathrooms. If they added 2 more bathrooms would've been great. The place was decorated cute. If you're looking for a small venue to host, come check out this place and see if it's in your budget. We chose The Rembrandt to host our wedding and I couldn't be more pleased! Our wedding went without any issues due to the support and planning from the venue staff. Their staff helped us coordinate the day-of timeline and worked well with the caterers, and other event vendors. We ended up with about 120 guests and it was a great size. The location is perfect for access to downtown Boulder. The venue itself has beautiful artwork and a fantastic view of the flatirons. I was able to make use of the new bridal ready rooms, and it was very nice to have some extra space. I highly recommend the Rembrandt and would work with them again in the future! read more

One of my very good friends recently had her wedding here and it was perfect. The wedding was on the small side - about 50 people and we only needed one floor of the venue. Half was set up for the ceremony with seats and a gorgeous view of Boulder and the Foothills all around. Then just behind that was a bar set-up for the reception after the wedding. The other half was our dinner tables and buffet for the food. While we ate they removed the chairs and the ceremony side became a dance floor. If you're looking for a venue space to have an intimate gathering with beautiful views and a very professional staff I'd recommend checking this place out. It was lovely. read more

Rembrandt Yard - Art Galleries Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

We married off our daughter this weekend at Rembrandt Yard. RY is really so much more than a gallery. In fact, I think the gallery is really secondary to it being a great event space. When using it as an event space RY just gives off this really great combination of warmth, sophistication, and beauty. The views from the giant windows are great. The ceiling are not too high so you don't feel like your in some giant cave. Acoustics are good. RY is laid out on two floors which works out great if you need to do what we did which is have the ceremony on the third floor, move everyone down to the second floor for appetizers and drinks while the dining is being setup back on the third floor. (Ground floor is artist studio space). The staff during the event was perfect. Patti did a great job working with us and the caterers. I really can't think of a better place for an event - and it's a nice gallery to boot. read more

We had a one day, off-site, strategy and planning session at Rembrandt Yard. It was a refreshing and delightful venue that really got the creative juices flowing. It wasn't your normal grey and dreary office environment. We had a comfortable room with plenty of space, set up to accommodate our needs. And we were surrounding by beautiful art :-) The staff was very helpful, flexible and friendly. And the rental fee was reasonable. Conveniently located in downtown Boulder. Walking distance away from great restaurants for a lunch time break. Easily reached by public transport, Uber or Lyft. Parking is available in nearby garages (for a fee - ~$20). My only suggestion would be to have some more modern technology options available for business meetings (ie large screen tv for presenting). read more

Really wanted to love this place. Heard positive things and giving them three stars because everybody has an off day. From the first contact, the person who answered the phone was snippy and kept eliciting heavy condescending sighs when I tried to share that one of the quotes on the building was not attributed using the correct artist. Hey folks -- it's Pierre-Auguste Renoir. You're in the art business, ergo it matters. I ventured inside and while it's a beautiful venue, the attitude of the two people with whom I came in contact with were very snooty, visibly evaluatory on my attire and I had just come from a work out. Hate to break it to you folks -- just because I look like I just had an hour of yoga doesn't mean I'm not a key decision maker nor does it mean I don't have money to spend. Disappointed. Wanted to love this place and add it to my clients' top venues and potential event space. Maybe I'll try again when I'm dressed more impressively and see what the reception is...no pun intended. It's gorgeous, in a fantastic location near the Historic Hotel Boulderado, has a great reputation - unfortunately it was not my experience the first contact. Perhaps you'll have better luck - they are oft suggested. read more

Toured here on Saturday. I'm definitely loving the unique space for a wedding. It may not be quite right for us, as we will definitely be on the max for guests, but it's so beautiful! We had a fantastic corporate event at Rembrandt Yard. The entire staff was excellent and a pleasure to work with from inquiry to booking, logistics and event execution. Absolutely beautiful. I went to help set up for an event, and I was blown away with the space. Amazing views of Boulder and Pearl Street. Clean space, beautiful natural light. This space is great for small events! The third floor room is BEAUTIFUL with giant windows framing stunning mountain views. The gallery is beautiful as well. The staff was delightful, helpful, and great to work with. The only negative I can say is that if more than 20 or so people are talking socially at the same time, it can get very noisy. For the right event I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. read more

I recently had my wedding at Rembrandt Yard. We had about 115 guests, but knew the space could accommodate our max of 160. I told everyone that I didn't need a wedding planner, because the women I worked with at Rembrandt helped me coordinate everything. I was able to relax on the day of my wedding, because they made the phone calls when we thought our caterer was running late (miscommunication on my end with that). Even before our wedding day, they stayed in contact with to make sure I didn't have any questions and if I needed help. We had both floors, which was great--guests who wanted a quieter place to talk could go elsewhere. No one complained that they couldn't hear anything that needed to be heard. All we have gotten is compliments on the space and how beautiful it was. The big windows let in a ton of natural light, which was excellent for pictures. Yes, they don't have set parking for guests, but it's Boulder so we knew (my parents hired a shuttle service, which many of our guests used from the hotel). I would plan other events at Rembrandt Yard in a heartbeat! The price is competitive the time and space you get, especially if your looking for a more unique venue. read more

So amazing!!! the entire staff is very accommodating and made sure that every step along the way was detailed and to my liking. I was concerned that we would be super tight on space because we were expecting around 285 people, but really with the two floors we had plenty of room. The live dance was upstairs so all the rowdier people were up there while we had food and candy bars downstairs, which made for the perfect combo. This venue is gorgeous. I attended a wedding here and the entire staff was so nice not to mention the artwork was all local. I ended up purchasing a piece for my friends that got married which they were really excited about! Everyone stayed at the Boulderado as most of us were just visiting for the weekend and being downtown was awesome. Fun venue in Boulder, with a nice location. Parking is a pain, but everything else was great and just like it was promised. Stinky and dirty elevator, but nice floor lighting and bathrooms. Stairs and entry need renovation, but I would book it again. read more

The 3rd-floor is one of the worst-designed event spaces I've experienced. It's an echo chamber with hardwood floors and plate glass windows. If you have more than 20 guests no one can hear each other talking. The volume is so loud that I needed earplugs, and this was without any music! Everyone complained about how bad the space was. With the PA system the audience complained that they couldn't hear the speaker, due to the poor acoustics. There isn't a single sound dampening panel or barrier on the entire floor. They need to hire a better interior designer! read more

I was planning a wedding with them, and they were so sweet until we paid. Then the customer service was horrible, the way they talked to my mother was awful, and I was disgusted. They told us we could bring desserts in prior to signing the contract, then after told us we couldn't. The story kept changing. The two girls that work there (Sara, and Terra) kept telling us different rules the venue had. Very unprofessional. They ruined the experience, so I left. I refused to be treated the way they treated us. read more
