One employee was caught by the security logs stealing money from my room. Hotel management did nothing to help and I have not been able to get reimbursed for the burglary. Hotel management was really obnoxious, and - knowing I live on the East Coast which makes it difficult for me to file a local lawsuit - has given me the silence treatment. Overpriced; stayed there after driving through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Drove through Estes Park and decided to drive further down to more choices. Boulder is waay over priced and had we known we would have driven a couple of miles further south to Broomfield where there were more restaurants and hotels..... Had to pay to park, breakfast was above average to good. If I absolutely have to stay in Boulder I might consider it but otherwise I will pass on this one.... read more

The Marriott in Boulder lived up to a solid 3-4 star review. Clean and comfortable. Small indoor pool with jacuzzi was nice. The bar rotates three local beers ($5) on tap an several others in bottles. Central location very nice. read more

The bellhops will deal with your luggage. Their store is convenient, and business center is state-of-the-art, for completing your work. The new bar and m club are lovely. And the staff is attentive and helpful. Room service was tasty and quick. Unfortunately, that's where the plot twist begins. The sleeping rooms are tired, worn and downright unhealthy. The carpets look as if they haven't been cleaned in years and the wallpaper is pulling away from the walls. The lights and blow dryer malfunctioned. Worse, huge, wide spread black splotches permeated the carpet, a large yellow think ring ran around the edge of the shower curtain -4 inches wide, and raised, dried food (like oatmeal) an inch wide graced my breakfast door menu that was on my sleeping pillow. To top it off, the bathroom door sported a white raised substance on the door like three fingers of toothpaste and the bathroom's amenities were half full. How rude of the last guest! Pictures in hand, the desk clerk switched my room to one overlooking the flat irons which was a saving grace. Though even this high end room's blow dyer left its "mortal coil" half way through a style, leaving me a bit bedraggled for my business meeting. Had a fantastic experience here the customer service is what made it enjoyable. Paul greeted me right away and help me through the process of booking a room and any needs that I had. Paul was very professional and a lot of help he answered all my questions that I had about the area. They gave me a great room overlooking the flat irons on Green mountain. The room was clean and the lobby was grand with a great bar. The hotel overall was fantastic parking was great and the hotel was very clean. This experience was very memorable and would highly recommend booking a room at this Marriott definitely will use them again. read more

Stayed here on a trip last weekend. Rooms/bathrooms were large and clean, bed comfortable, noise level acceptable, staff was friendly, and access/parking is very good. I have stayed at the Boulderado and St. Julian on previous trips, the Marriott is the best price to value, though I prefer the St.J when with my wife or for a special weekend. Not as conveniently located to downtown/Pearl Street as the other two, but a bit closer to central campus locations. Wifi free for Marriott Rewards. Starbucks available in lobby lounge/coffee shop. read more

We have stayed at this Marriott over 20 times and this time was the worst. Normally it's amazing. The location the hotel itself and the staff. This time it was terrible. I'm not sure what went so wrong in the last couple months. We were here for New Years and our experience was amazing. They didn't change the sheets. We tried to have them turn the fire pit on in the front. We sat there for almost an hour and it never got turned on. The M lounge was never fully stocked. We couldn't get a cold water at some points in our stay. There was food and trash left in the hallway for more than 24 hours. We asked the girl at the front desk about the wild fire and evacuations and she said it was contained. We ask her how she knew that and she said because she drove by she knows it's contained. It's 9:30 am and the fire isn't contained at all and it's time to find a new hotel to stay at. The quality of staff has significantly dropped and the quality of the hotel has dropped as well. read more

I used my Marriott points to book this hotel thinking I'd get the nicest Marriott in Boulder but the room over looked a commercial area parking lot, had stains on the carpet and pillow cases and a large clump of black hair left in the bathroom. Then when checking out, I was charged for the nights so they had to go back and refund me since I was using points for the stay. I don't normally put up bad reviews but I have to admit I was embarrassed after I had told my boyfriend that I had booked the most expensive Marriott then had to quickly clean the bathroom myself so that he wouldn't see hair. read more

This is a Marriott, so it's a given that the hotel is going to be nice. But what sets this one apart, is the staff. I was in town for business, and was very unhappy with the accommodations that were set for me at another hotel. I called the Marriott and spoke with the front office manager, Tayler Meador, who was absolutely delightful to deal with. Ms. Meador went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. The rest of the staff that I dealt with were also very pleasant which is probably a direct result of the examples set by their management. read more

Visited October 26-28, 2015. It was a decent hotel. Nothing to write home about. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom was clean. Cons: the Starbucks was part of the hotel bar and it wasn't an actual Starbucks. Apparently there was no complimentary breakfast. A fellow traveler was told it would be $10 for the buffet so she went down for her meal. When she added bacon and an extra egg, they charged her an extra $10. She had already made her plate and couldn't scrape it off. This seemed pretty deceptive but I usually don't eat breakfast at a hotel so it didn't effect me. I was a bit put out with the hotel for failing to include that pertinent information, however. What a rip off! All in all, I would stay here again. read more

We stayed here for one evening because we had to be in Boulder for a special event. I can't say enough about the friendly staff. We arrived early and were able to check in immediately. We needed late check out and they were able to accommodate this. They mentioned the lobby has been remodeled and it was beautiful. Stylish and comfortable and I had the opportunity to enjoy a drink at the bar. The room was clean and nice. Super comfortable bed and pillows too. read more

We held a dinner event on a Saturday evening in July for ~31 adults, 5 children. Here are my observations: The room is dark, has not been renovated, yellow lighting, no windows, old carpet. The food was mediocre to terrible, starting with a soggy green salad; oily vegetables, starch I can't recall, tough chicken and mystery beef in tiny slices. There was clearly not enough food, but by the time it was replenished most had been through the buffet line. There were no roles or bread offered and only one desert with exactly the number of brownie pieces as attendees. Presentation was awful; chafing dishes, tanks of water and tea and a single try of brownies without a bit of decor. I've been to church suppers that tasted better and were more artfully presented. Do not bring an important meeting to this venue. It was not cheap, by the way. read more

Hands up if you've ever looked forward to staying at a Marriott - OK I'm underwhelmed by the response! Yet strangely (after almost 9 years of visiting) I look forward to arriving at the Boulder Marriott: Frozen fountain out front - check; free parking for the rented Subaru - check; free lift ticket for Eldora (the local's hill) - check; friendly & efficient staff -check; spacious suites with windows that open and look out over the Flatirons - check; within staggering distance to Zolo - check. There are swankier places nearer to Pearl St, but for comfort and value the good ol' Marriott is very hard to beat. read more

Outside & common areas very nice but the room was the worst we ever had at a Marriott. Mattress was terrible. Fitted sheets were not fitted. Carpet had several spots & stains. No frig. TV was small and always dimming. Stayed 2 nights and left the room at 10am the first day and no one ever came in and made up bed, etc. read more

There was a specific hour window when said item, which incidentally belonged to my 5-year-old son, could have been taken. The front desk took customer service to a new low when I attempted to resolve the situation. Shame on you Marriott for hiring such dishonest, condescending, apathetic employees. Four of us came to Boulder for a business trip. Our flight arrived late so when we arrived to the Marriott, it was close to midnight. Upon check-in, they notified us that they over sold their rooms & they only had 3 out of the 4 we booked. They offered us $100 if one of us could stay at the Courtyard Marriott 1 mile down the road. We didn't want to drive back and forth since we had to leave to work pretty early the next day so we just decided that 2 of us shared 1 room for the first night. They felt bad about this so they offered us free parking, free wifi and access to the concierge lounge. It was an inconvenience but they did everything they could to make it up. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It's close to a lot of shopping and downtown. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast in the concierge lounge is free but it's just continental breakfast so it's nothing special. 3.5 stars. read more

I would have probably given this hotel 3 1/2 or 4 stars on its own but the staff made this a five star hotel for me. They were always very kind and helpful. The hotel room itself was simple, but good for temporary stays. While the gym and indoor pool were small, the lobby and conference/common area had just been redone and were very nice. Came with my family for a college visit because the hotel was a short drive away; we even walked to the campus the last two days. Very happy with my experience and I know my family will be returning to his hotel in the future. Perfect place for an affordable college visit or a quick stay. read more

Both my husband and I continue to be impressed with this hotel, service, restaurant, and location. We dined twice at JW's restaurant and were very, very pleased with the service and food. Though the menu was not extensive, the offerings we selected were excellent. The hotel location is within easy walking distance to many shops. I have stayed at three other hotels in Boulder, but after staying here, wouldn't stay anywhere else. read more

Dirty and out-dated room; carpet and wall paper need to be replaced. Had to ask for a refrigerator to fill the empty space in our room and got a small dorm-size one. The pool is postage stamp-sized, and we never saw anyone using it. The lobby bar is sparsely stocked; the advertised spa is actually a business in the same complex and the Starbucks is part of the restaurant counter that sells cups of Starbucks coffee in the morning. There is only one small towel bar located in the shower itself so it's a little difficult to reuse towels. We only received two towels and washcloths each day. The underground parking was nice when it snowed, and the staff was very friendly. The location is handy to many stores and restaurants. The hotel looks very luxurious on the website, but it was not. read more

Overall ok stay until the last day where I had a bag sitting in my room with things I bought for friends bag home. After room service cleaned our room my bag with the things that I bought were gone. Not saying for a fact that they threw it away but that's our only guess. This has left a dirty taste in my mouth for my stay. They also need new sinks that aren't so close to the back of the sink. Front desk employees very very very nice and helpful they are the only reason that I gave two stars. Gym was also very nice. read more
