A group of 20 of us used Boulder Limo Service to drive from Boulder to Denver and back for a football game. I'd like to give a rundown of the day.
First, they showed up an hour and fifteen minutes late. We sat there expectantly in the driveway well past the agreed-upon time without any contact from the company. Once we initiated the contact, we found out they were late because of traffic. I admit that traffic in Boulder can be bad, but an hour and fifteen minutes late seems excessive. It also made making it in time for the tailgate to be a bit difficult. Nevertheless, the group and I were determined to have a good time and I do admit that the bus on the way there was top-notch. We were able to play music and they had some cool lights going as well. The driver was cordial enough and we made it in time for kickoff luckily.
After a wonderful game, we prepared to make our way back to our limo. We had discussed a meeting location. They weren't there. After some 20 minutes of meandering we found what we assumed to be our bus. We had paid for a party bus, what we actually got was not that. This ride on the way back to Boulder was an old city bus; it was dark, no music was playing and the energy of the group died with that bus.
Also, we had talked to the company beforehand about keeping some things on the bus (cooler, cornhole, things of the sort) and they seemed okay with it. However, after making it back onto the bus we found that our coolers were empty and bottles were missing. Overall, we lost about 80$ worth of drinks and other items.
A call to the company about our less-than-stellar treatment was met with less-than-polite conversations with the owner. In short, she was rude and pretty unwilling to work with us at all about getting missing items back or any sort of refund.
TLDR; An extremely unprofessional company and I'd rather walk next time than use this Boulder Limo Service. read more
