After a very positive positive experience with Eight Black transporting between DEN and Boulder, I went online and mistakenly thought I saw Service to Fort Collins. I bought three vouchers for my many trips to visit children and grandchildren, but when I went to fill one of them, discovered my mistake. I made several calls to the company, but received no help. 'Tho they have a policy of no refunds for the vouchers. it seems to me that a company that can't make occasional concessions for unusual circumstances -like for an old lady misreading the website, is not a company that deserves my business. read more

In mid-September, I visited my daughter in the hospital while she was undergoing one of her many chemo treatment for a rare bone cancer in her ankle. She was enduring 5-day in-hospital chemo treatments every 21 days and was just starting to receive daily radiation treatments which were scheduled every (week) day for the next 6 weeks. The daily round trip for treatments between her home in Longmont and the hospital is 100 miles. My daughter doesn't drive and her loving hubby was burning through his FMLA benefit at work. He had been taking time off of work since the discovery of the tumors in April to take his wife to her numerous (and scary) medical appointments and treatments. When I returned to Chicago, a friend asked if I had researched whether there was any shuttle or transport services similar to what we've seen in our hometown. The next morning, Sunday, I sent an email to a couple transport service companies based in the Boulder/Longmont area looking for resources. Within an hour, Simon, had responded to me and he immediately proposed a transport solution that would support both my daughter's daily medical treatments and her hubby's dwindling benefit days. Not knowing him or his company, she put her faith in Eight Black for the next 6 weeks. Today, this round of radiation treatment is over. My daughter had put her trust in Eight Black's hands and they took care of her like their own. This man and his company were angels sent from heaven at a very scary and challenging time as he and his team executed flawlessly (and daily) just as he proposed. There are not enough stars or cudos to rank this man and his company. They went so far above and beyond the call of duty. They are the real deal. The owner, the dispatch team and drivers are compassionate, caring and true hero's in my daughter's treatment plan. Speaking from the consistent and caring experience that my daughter received, I would like to believe that you too will get world-class, top notch transportation service from the Eight Black team. I STRONGLY ADVISE everyone to stay clear of Eight Black Airport Shuttle. Eight Black blatantly, knowingly and purposefully took my money for a shuttle service they did not provide. Eight Black not only did not communicate in a professional manner, they failed to communicate in any manner to me. Eight Black STRANDED me at the airport in the middle of the night with zero communication, kept the money I paid them for a service they did not provide and then forced me to pay for an additional ride service from another company in order to get home. Eight Black has committed THEFT as well as FRAUD for their on-going business practices. After 24 hours they have refused to even give a simple refund on the money I paid directly to them and the money that they forced to me to pay for an additional ride home. I followed their directives to the tee and received no shuttle service. Eight Black would not provide any communication to a customer via phone, text or email while knowingly having a customer waiting who had a pre paid reservation that night. Eight Black's only justification in stealing my money and providing a horrible experience is that it is their policy not to give refunds and that their last shuttle had departed even though I had paid for the reservation and that they had all of my flight information along with three different ways to directly contact me. One star is far too generous of a rating to give this FRAUDULENT BUSINESS KNOWN AS EIGHT BLACK AIRPORT SHUTTLE. read more

A friend recommended Eight Black and am so happy that I went with her recommendation. Our destination was Breckenridge. Upon arriving at Denver Airport, I received a text telling me exactly where to meet the beautiful black Mercedes .. I felt sorry for those waiting in line waiting for their Ubers and shuttles. Dan was our driver and he expertly and safely drove us to our destination. Moreover, he had a pleasant personality and was very knowledgeable about the land and sights along the 2 hour route. Simon and Nadia saved the day! Or I should say saved the wedding day. After a transportation company backed out the week before our Son's wedding, on our property, Simon and Nadia saved the day. We live up a private dirt road at 7,600 ft. The Previous company had my large deposit for 18 months. One week before the wedding they backed out. I called Nadia and she said that Simon would be there within the hour. Sure enough, in his Porche, he arrived. He kept telling me "No problem" "No Problem" What a relief for me and our wedding planner and the bride and groom and countless more. True to his word, Simon was perfect. We had 4 different times with different numbers. He was there every step of the journey. All the drivers were fun and the vans had seatbelts and comfy seats. My goal was the safety of all our guests. I had a late flight into DIA from Orange County and was without a ride home. The morning of the flight I called two Shuttle vendors only to find out they didn't do drop offs in Longmont. I asked both companies for referrals but they weren't helpful in that regard. That being said I took to google and came across Eight Black. These guys literally came to the rescue. Booking was an easy process, mainly thanks to Amy who sent me a text message after our transaction with the pick up location. The story doesn't end here though. I noticed my flight became delayed 30 minutes which would push me past an 11pm landing at DIA. I immediately called Eight Black to inform them of the delay and that I was prepared to cancel (since they close at 11pm). Amy fielded my call again and I explained my situation. She suggested a wait and see approach. The flight ended up making it in at 10:55pm and upon landing I received a text message from a gentlemen named Simon, who informed me that 8 Black arranged Uber for me in the place of their shuttle service since I was the only one heading to Longmont at that hour. Simon and I exchanged texts with real time updates about the Uber driver and his location relative to where I was in the airport. It couldn't have worked out better. Simon also said he would keep an eye on the Uber trip and make sure the drop off was successful before calling it a night. I can't say enough good things about 8 black. These folks are true professionals and are clearly trained in the real meaning of customer service. I look forward to utilizing their services again and referring my colleagues and friends their way. It's really unfortunate, because I was hopeful to enjoy services by this company. We used Alpenglow Express previously and Joshua sold his business to Simon due to his move. Our very first experience was awful. Worse experience traveling from DIA to BC area. Our driver, Wisdom, provided the worst customer service. He was downright rude. Without even asking he played a DVD movie of his choice. None of us even requested a movie and it was a rated R movie with our 16 year old daughter in the limo. Olympus Has Fallen was the name of the movie he played. I did complain to Simon and he did offer to upgrade our return trip and to pay for a dinner meal. I did not take him up on the meal, but I did accept the upgraded vehicle. The upgraded vehicle was comfortable, but the TV was not working at all so that was disappointing. Would have been nice for a 3 hour ride. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars instead of 1 is only due to Simon himself. He did provide us with good service personally. He also was helpful in providing us a short noticed trip at a low price after our daughter was hurt in a traumatic snowboarding accident. However none of his personal service/communication is enough to outweigh the extremely disappointing and poor treatment of us on the first portion of our trips. I will be looking for other companies for our future needs and hope Simon is able to improve his team service based on our experience. read more

I decided to take a transport to and from DIA to Longmont. This was the 2nd trip to Longmont for me, with the first trip resulting in a fear-inducing taxi ride with a driver whose speed average 90 mph (not exaggerating) and frequently checking text messages, even after I asked him to stop. I decided to try a different option and found Eight Black. I enjoyed the ease of booking and the information on where to meet the shuttle, and text confirmation information. I had just a short wait in the pick up area, which afforded me plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful view. Two young men arrived in a pretty lux Mercedes SUV, with bottled water awaiting. I was the only occupant and while it can sometimes be uncomfortable making conversation, this was not the case. The two young men were pleasantly quiet, engaging in conversation when I did, but not having a conversation between the two of them. The drive was quick, safe and courteous. The return trip was just as pleasant; the driver was right on time, loaded my bags, and off we went. There were two gentlemen already in the backseat engaged in conversation, and again, the driver did not drill me with questions, but pleasantly chatted when I initiated. Being a bit of a control freak, I don't like being a passenger with unfamiliar drivers. Both trips, however, I felt relaxed and comfortable; both drivers drove well. For a recent trip to Colorado I used Green Ride from DIA to Longmont and Eight Black to return. Both were on time, clean, professional and comfortable. However, Eight Black was definitely a cut above with the spotless black van (that I had all to myself), cold water, free wi-fi and friendly driver. The driver, Bryn, was great.
