First time and it was amazing! We had a group of about 10 for our work holiday party and our server was very quick and attentive. It was my first time there and I had a hard time choosing as they have so many tasty sounding options! I settled on the rosemary salmon and it comes with couscous and grilled asparagus but I got garlic mashed potatoes and citrus broccoli and those were all excellent choices! I have ordered the grilled chicken salad and I have never been disappointed! Of course with COVID they do a good job making sure that you order online and you call when you get there they bring everything out to your car and with great friendly service! This was the perfect place to go for our first meal out since March...they have a very large patio which offers lots of seating if you don't want to sit inside right now. I went inside and it was well thought out with the social distancing in place. The food is good, lots of variety at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and personable. We wanted to sit outside because the ambiance of their patio is relaxed and very gorgeous. Our server was kind but seemed somewhat new/frazzled that day. We were sat with a drink menu, regular menu, early bird menu & the specials menu from hostesses. We all ordered cocktails and an appetizer from the specials menu. Took about 15 minutes to get our cocktails only to be told they were out of the special app (no problem, we will change). Go to order food, 2 of us got early bird salmon (DELICIOUS) and my husband ordered from the specials menu. 10 minutes go by "oh, we don't have the meal from the specials menu, we aren't running any of those specials today" - communication is obviously terrible at this location, as that is not acceptable. He changed to the filet, received a sirloin instead. Ordered a drink, two times, took 20 minutes to get it and we were already done. Food was good but everything else was not acceptable for the price point. Wont be frequenting but hopefully they can get it together for others to have better experience. read more

Boulder Creek is one of the oldest of the Cunningham Restaurants, but I had been here in probably 20 years. Some family friends invited us out for dinner there. It was a Tuesday night and was fairly busy. Our server was friendly and attentive but not overly so. One of our friends loves to tell jokes to the servers and she was a good sport about it. I had the Applewood Chicken salad. I loved that they had actual cut up strips of bacon instead of hard little bacon bits. The dressing was really good, but I'd probably order on the side as there was a little too much tossed in. The bread and the seasoned oil they served was phenomenal. The bread was soft and fluffy. The oil had a nice flavor. Mom got the cheeseburger with the loaded potato wedges and really enjoyed it. One friend also got the same salad as me, as she had recommended it. The other friend got the bbq meatloaf and the portion was massive and he said it was good. The atmosphere in here is cool and I think it's a nice moderately priced place in Brownsburg. The menu felt a little limited, but it wouldn't stop me from going back. read more

It's only okay. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was fine. But the meals were just so-so. Their salmon - two menu examples - were over cooked. The other meals were just not that flavorful. If you're looking to meet a couple friends, drink a few beers and share an appetizer or two this will fit your expectations. read more

Had a reservation & was seated quickly. Place is noisy; no COVID considerations or allowances at all. Service was fine. Shrimp cocktail (5 big shrimp) met expectations. Walleye was pretty good; "spinach parmesan risotto" was about a cup or so of gummy white rice (instant?) in an Elmer's glue sauce, with 4-5 slimy spinach leaves underneath. Inedible. Companion's filet was reportedly "fine"; salad was salad. Bread pudding was excellent! For the $$$, this shld have been more stars. Not planning to return but won't refuse if others want to. This is a nice local restaurant just up the road from us. It's not the best food ever (a bit heavy), but it's good and it's a nice date spot. Definitely glad it's in Brownsburg and we'll visit many, many times in the future. read more

This place has amazing food as do all Cunningham Group locations. Great ambience and their drinks are on par. Cant go wrong with their house salad that is one of the best I've ever had. They have a decent brunch menu on Sundays but lack some really decent specials like bottomless mimosas. I took off a star for service. Its hit or miss and especially our last visit our waitress was also the bartender and really struggled to serve our table of 9. I've had better service with a group of 18. read more

The food was either overbearing or bland. I ordered the steak and eggs the second time I came there. The steak was heavily over seasoned and the eggs were slightly over cooked and rubbery. The only two things I can say about it is that the hash browns were okay and at least it didn't give me food poisoning. read more

Can't think of a bad thing to say about Boulder Creek. The menu, service and taste of everything was exactly what I was hoping for and their early bird offerings are great if you're dining early and don't feel this compulsive urge do just dump money out of yourself. Our server was great and kept the waters and bread on the table. Our food was out in a flash. Only gripes would be that wherever I seem to sit in this place I always get the gale force wind every time the door opens and the calamari comes with a side salad on the plate. If I wanted another salad, I'd get another one. Give me more calamari or pick another accompaniment. read more

Excellent food and service, margarita pizza is one of my favorites, also like the steaks, ribs, salmon, there chicken fingers are excellent, i steal one from the kid every time, if you get waffle fries the beer cheese dip is excellent! The parm risotto is my favorite side from here. Can't go wrong on Wednesday's when they have half price martinis! The only thing I haven't enjoyed so much is the Italian beef, so if I want a sandwich I get the tenderloin, there pork chop is great as well, like it's alll good here! We had a reservation and it was available when we arrived at 6pm. We were a party of 6 and ordered two appetizers: Ahi tuna for 2 and Calamari. Both were excellent and the sauces for the Ahi were very tasty. I ordered the Campfire Fettuccine. It was smothered in sauce and two large shrimp on top. Wish it had a couple more shrimp but there is plenty of meat in the dish. It was excellent. They have a wide selection of beer, liquor and soft drinks as well. read more

My wife and I took a short trip up to the Indianapolis area to see some lifetime friends who live in the small, beautiful country town of Jamestown, Indiana located just a small distance northwest of Indianapolis. There are many small farm communities along the way with very little great dining spots around. There are mostly fast food restaurants and small town diners and pubs. After a great day of catching up with each other accompanied with a couple bottles of good wine we left it up to them to go to one of the few great restaurants in the area. This beautiful large cozy dining experience ended up to be in Brownsburg, Indiana called Boulder Creek Dining Company. Leave it to me the: the first thing I noticed as we walked in was a bright Yelp sticker on the window that said "Yelp loves us." Was impressed already!!! As we walked in we were greeted by 2 friendly young gentlemen who handed over the menus and wine list to a girl who kindly seated us and we were immediately introduced to one of our servers who worked as a team with who later would be our waitress, Taylor. As we were walking to the table I immediately noticed the beautifully lit bar that wrapped around the attached dining room areas. Boulder Creek has surprisingly a large dining area and since the bar follows the dining areas on both sides , you can see the bar from wherever you are sitting. In the back of the restaurant there was a large open kitchen you can see also from wherever you are sitting. The atmosphere had a very northern feel to it because of the dark wood and brick which warmed this place up. I was very impressed about the immediate attention we received as Taylor helped us decide on the wine selection and answered some questions about the appetizers and entrees. The service was actually the first great attribute to Boulder Creek as it appeared that this dining experience will be timed perfectly and we would not be rushed. Taylor was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. We ordered a great bottle of Concha Y Toro Gran Reserva which surprisingly was very reasonably priced. After we started on the wine, we were served an amazing Sour Dough bread loaf with a remarkable red pepper sauce. I knew at that point we were in for a treat with their food as well. We started out with the Heirloom Tomatoes and Mozzarella. Different from the normal Caprice Salad, the mozzarella was served lightly fried over fresh tomatoes which were topped with arugula. Sprinkled over the dish was a balsamic glaze, combined with the fried mozzarella, gave this dish a tremendous flavor. We also shared the Ahi Tuna. So fresh and flavorful, the tuna was perfectly seasoned. I could of made a sushi meal out of this dish. My wife had a real great house salad which she loved. I ordered my entrée, which was highly recommended by Taylor; Double Cut Pork Chop. The pork chop was so thick and so lean. It was grilled and charred on the outside and was very tender on the inside as it was cooked medium. The way they charred and seasoned the outside of this thick pork chop gave this dish the best flavor and tenderness. You can taste it at the start and finish of each bite. The side was a baked potato which went with this perfectly. The wine was also tasting better too by the way. My wife had grilled Salmon. She is picky about Salmon which is one of her favorite fish dishes and she loved it. Now here is an unusual dish I've never seen which my friend ordered; Lobster Risotto and filet medallions. He loved it and I decided that this is what I will order the next time I come here. We all decided to split an unusual ice cream desert, the Graeters Ice Cream Trio. The desert was served in 3 small attached glass bowls, and included Cappuccino Chip and Mint Chip Ice Cream which surrounded a raspberry ice cream in the middle. It was served with fresh Basil and whipped cream. Glad we shared this because I would of eaten this great dessert by myself. Boulder Creek has a tremendous feel to it. There is also outdoor dining as you walk into the front of the restaurant. The mild weather here would make outdoor dining easy, as we are used to heat and humidity in Florida which sometimes makes it difficult to do. This was a perfect evening with friends in a restaurant that had all sorts of surprises. Five stars for atmosphere, PERFECT service and a top menu with culinary perfection. My husband and I went to visit our friends in Jamestown Indiana. They suggested this restaurant close to them called Boulder Creek. Surprisingly it was a very good restaurant in a small country town. We got there at 8:00 and were seated right away. We ordered a bottle of from Chili, and some appetizers. We had seared tuna and a Heirloom tomato salad which had fried mozzarella on top with a balsamic glaze, all were quite yummy. I ordered a small house salad with pomegranate vinegar dressing which was good as well. They served warm sour dough bread with a tomato dipping sauce. it was different, but tasty. For our main entrees I ordered salmon which fresh sautéed spinach with a lemon glaze cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a pork chop which was very thick and big, charred on the outside and slightly pink inside, just the way he likes it. Our friends ordered pork cutlet fried on a bun with fries and lobster risotto served with a small filet mignon. They both said that tget enjoyed their dinners and would order it again. We finished our dinner with my favorite course, the dessert. We ordered a trio of ice cream from Graeters, a midwest company. It was served in three small dishes, one with mint chip, cappachino chip and the last one was a raspberry chocolate. Some of the best ice cream I have tasted! I was a little reluctant to come here after reading a few of the reviews but I'm glad I did, I had to wait to be seated even though it appeared there were lots of open tables but once seated the service was great. They start you off with fresh baked bread served warm with a seasoned olive oil for dipping. The menu offers a good variety and they have a full bar. I ordered the combo that lets you select 2 entrees and 2 sides, I ordered the ribs and shrimp with broccoli and white cheddar au gratin potatoes. The shrimp and potatoes were excellent, the ribs were good (I'm picky being a competitive bbq team and SLBS judge but above average for a restaurant) and the broccoli was seasoned well but slightly over cooked. My only real complaint is the booth seating is ridiculously cramped and uncomfortable, my feet touched the other side while my heels were against the base of my seat, ask for a table! read more

Food is disgusting. Service is even worse and the atmosphere needs a total overhaul. It's obvious they don't care about their customers.

I have family in town, so our group of 20 called ahead about 2 hours before we wanted to go eat. Friday night, and homecoming. What a great time and experience we had. We never lacked for anything, they put our group in a side room, and while there were other people seated in booths in that room we never really noticed the other patrons. We were able to visit just fine. The food was exceptional. No complaints, everything was cooked very well, and drink glasses never went empty. Haven't been to Boulder Creek in years, and their food is worlds better than I remember it being. I appreciate that they were so accommodating of our very large group on relatively short notice on such a busy night of the week for eating out, and that the food was so great. It was a bright spot in an otherwise sad week, so thank you. read more
