Boucle is my favorite place to get my nails done. Andy is amazing - he definitely gives the best manicure and pedicure. The space is a wonderful little sanctuary - calming music, great view of Edgartown green space and Andy is so nice to talk to. I live here year round and go every month - I'm addicted. As if that wasn't enough, Yeony, one of the stylists there, has given me the best hair cut I've had in years! Thanks goodness for Boucle - otherwise I'd still be traveling to NY for my haircut and my nails would be in terrible shape. read more

I've been getting my nails done for about 20 years and he is the best (don't tell my regular nail lady). Youny is great for hair as well. I was on the island for 2 months so I only needed one cut, but she perfectly matched my color and the cut was perfect. I've been here many times for manicures, pedicures and haircuts. Never tried a massage or facial here. They renovated the space they use for nails and it feels much more spacious. It used to feel very cramped. Cuts are good - nothing spectacular. I tend to go on busy weekends when it can gets crowded (lots of brides). Definitely recommend booking early. Good service. Such a charming salon in Edgartown! I was so grateful to have Susan as the stylist for my wedding! She's so relaxed and easy to get along with and knew exactly what I did/didn't want. This review is for Andy's nail services. He is far and away the BEST manicurist I've ever been to!! Repeated use of gel polish had weakened my nails. Whatever Andy does, they somehow stay strong with gel and they almost never chip prematurely. And a huge bonus: he uses a totally safe LED lamp to cure the polish, not the damaging UV that so many other places use. And his pedicures... Polish lasts for more than 2 weeks and he gives the most amazing foot massage ever! I'm thinking of going in for just reflexology between nail appts. Andy's demeanor is so sweet and polite and he's so good at what he does. You pay more for a mani/pedi than you would on the mainland, but he's worth it! read more

I am a friend of a friend of Elke, who has now cut my hair twice, but honestly she does give one great haircut. She listens carefully to what you want and proceeds very methodically. And it's fun to chat with her. In summertime it makes sense to take the free shuttle bus from the free parking at the Triangle though I tend to get nervous and walk - a brisk 15 minute walk. read more

Gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because I made an appointment but they were running behind so I had to wait 15ish minutes (there are only 2 nail techs). But that's my only complaint. Paloma did an amazing pedicure. She took her time, the scrub and then massage was awesome and she was definitely meticulous and paid attention to detail. Definitely recommend!!! read more

I had my hair and nails done for my wedding at Boucle. It was fabulous! They were very careful with the original booking time, not to over-promise, which I really appreciate! They began and finished each appointment on time and also helped me decide to have a flower headpiece at the last minute and worked with me on it. I can't rate for quality, only how the receptionist treated us, but place looked nice but pricey. A little hard to find at it was tucked away. I was a walk-in. Receptionist was a little rude and seemed perturbed to have to get off her phone call to speak with us. She said they were all booked (on a Tuesday) without looking at the book. Good news is she recommended Pure Touch Salon just down the street, which was actually a good cut and shampoo for a very reasonable price of $25 by some nice Korean proprietors. read more

Yani did a great job! She had just the right suggestion for improving my haircut. The salon is pleasant and very cute. Service was prompt- I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. I was so happy to find that they have Bumble and bumble products, which I use myself. I will come back and definitely recommend this salon to others! read more

Andy is fabulous! I'm on week three of his gel manicure, and it still looks perfect. He is very knowledgable about nail health, and will give you great advice on how to keep your nails strong. I really enjoyed his spa manicure and pedicure, it's a little more than you might pay back home, but WELL worth it. I will definitely go back the next time I'm on the Vineyard. read more
