I have actually been to every salon on this island at least once, as well as multiple salons in Chicago, New York, London, Scotland, Los Angeles and a whole handful of other locations that you'd expect to find decent hairdressers at... but the first, and only, salon I can honestly say provided the perfect cut (and color, if that's what you go in for) is Circuit Style. The owner/head stylist, Seniel, is a genius. I am stopped by complete strangers on a regular basis, here and abroad, that compliment me on my haircut and the color... and every time I either hand them a business card from Circuit Style (I think I've given out like 200 of them by now, no joke) or I just say "Thank you, but really all the compliments go to Seniel." You'd be crazy to pass this place up if you need a cut, or color. The owner is on top of things, & knows the latest trends.... as opposed to all the other salons here that will provide you with a "mom haircut." Though, if that's what you like... the local thrift shop has a slammin' selection of high waist tapered leg acid washed jeans and embellished mock turtleneck sweaters & vests that you might be interested in as well.... read more

I had my colour done here last summer and still maintain it is the best salon I've ever been to, and the best colour I've ever had done, and I've been having my hair dyed professionally since I was 16! The entire experience was wonderful. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the salon has a relaxing, laid back atmosphere - they even let me go outside with my foil in, something no other hairdressers I've encountered would have allowed! I had an idea of what colour I wanted, and as soon as I said it to Seniel, she knew straight away what to do. She told me to trust her, that her proposal may have seemed a bit radical, but I'm truly glad I did! The colour stayed in perfectly for ages afterwards, and her creative combination of ash blonde and brown is something that could never be rivaled elsewhere. I live in Ireland and would seriously consider flying over to the Cape, simply to get the ferry to Oak Bluffs to get my hair done here. read more

I'd like to preface this by saying I care entirely to much about my hair, seriously, I'm a guy and I wonder if its healthy. Bad hair day = bad day. I've had a cut from just about everyone on this island, (lived there my whole life) and was never fully satisfied, until that is I went to Circuit Style. Seniel gave me my cut, I told her what I was looking for, and half an hour later what I had in my mind was there, on top of my head. The staff here is very up to date with current trends and styles (something severely lacking with just about all other dressers on MV) And to top it all off it's quite affordable, my cut was around $25. I live in Boston now as a full time student, and even with the wide variety of hair dressers to choose from in the city I still wait until I can get a weekend at home to get my hair cut, just so I can get these guys to do it. read more

Seniel handled the daunting task of doing hair for myself and three other bridesmaids, as well as the mothers of the groom and bride, on the morning of my cousin's wedding with such ease, talent and sass (the good kind!). We absolutely loved her, and our experience at the salon made the day even more memorable and relaxing. Everyone left satisfied with the hairstyles they hoped for. My cousin Stephanie and I have since returned for visits, haircuts and feather extensions, all of which have been amazing. I must begin by saying I am bald - Yet when I need to get the yard cleaned up so to speak, the folks at Circuit Style are ready and willing and do a great job. I also recently had the pleasure of going in with my friends and their two kids and niece for "Mohawk Day" Seniel created four unique styles on heads from ages 7 - 30 . Seniel's Circuit Style Salon is amazing, hands down. The fastest and best-looking haircut I've ever gotten, and it was affordable ($25) Every single one of my friends goes to Seniel to get their hair done, and every time they walk out feeling and looking great. She helped me break out of my comfort zone and talked me into an amazing haircut. I will definitely be seeing her in the future for any cut and color I may want/need. Seniel is an artist with color. Circuit Style may be known for the funky styling favored by teens and twenty-somethings, but I want to put out the word to women of "a certain age". This place is fantastic! I was longing for a change, but terrified of coloring my hair. Seniel eased me into the beautiful blonde highlights and lowlights that I now get so many compliments on.
