I somehow ended up leaving 35 minutes later with my hair chopped off to my chin. To make matters worse, the cut was uneven, choppy, and just overall sloppy. I hate to leave a bad review because the staff and the salon seemed nice. But make sure you are clear with the stylist if it's your first time so you don't end up crying yourself to sleep for a week like i did!

When she was done she proudly handed me the mirror to "see if I was happy with the shape." Because honestly... what do I know? She knows WAY more about skin than I do, so I'm more than happy to let the professional be the professional! I can tell her what's going on -- wrinkles, hydration, blackheads, whatever my skin is doing at the moment -- or sometimes that I really just need to relax, and then I let her take it from there. There are already enough decisions to make in life, and I love being able to lie down and trust that she knows what my skin needs. I also think you sometimes get the best results when you give someone who really knows their craft the freedom to use the products and treatments they think will work best for you.
