After trying a few options and being told that I could get an appointment in mid August, or they weren't taking on new clients, I tried one more salon - Angles Hair Salon - just off of Main Street in Hyannis. I got an appointment for two days later. Well - I found my new salon. Friendly, prompt and courteous...I explained to my stylist - Corian - what I wanted and first time out - he nailed it! Between the greeting I get when I come in the door from the girls Danielle , Nicole everybody behind the counter. From my wonderful absolutely awesome Jillian who does my hair. I love Salon 700. The staff is absolutely amazing and they just make you feel like. You matter, they do a fantastic job with my hair and what my needs are. Never ever disappointed ever!! Women go to salon 700 in Hyannis you will not regret it! The aestheticians are awesome as well!!! My only sadness comes if I have to leave the Cape I will never find another place like Salon 700!!

There was minimal improvement after the first session, so I scheduled the next one with a different person. That person cancelled so I got the same person again. I told her I had no improvement, so she said she would increase the level/strength. Again, no change and no improvement. I would recommend that you find a place that does a fixed price per area rather than per session. I have lost faith in this salon's laser hair removal practice.

That first appointment with Jess I immediately felt comfortable with her. My hair was gray (my choice) and every stylist I went to before Jess led off with hair color options before my butt even hit their chair. Jess was the ONLY hair stylist who didn't do this. I trust Jess implicitly and she's helped me find my way through different styles throughout the years. And yes, even the occasional hair color (again, my choice, no pushiness from Jess ever). She also found a way to keep me looking decent when I was on chemo. We've been through a lot hair-wise (and other-wise!) Jess and I, so much so that I call her my "hair miracle worker". From the moment I sat down, she was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She didn't listen to anything I asked for, cut me off mid-sentence, and spoke to me in a condescending tone as if I didn't know what I wanted with my own hair. When I explained the style I wanted, she immediately told me it wouldn't look good -- not in a helpful or constructive way, but in a way that made me feel belittled. Then, instead of working with me or offering alternatives, she went ahead and did the exact opposite of what I asked for. The result? A completely botched haircut that I now have to get fixed elsewhere and spend another couple hundred. This experience was frustrating, upsetting, and honestly humiliating. Save yourself the trouble -- I would not recommend her to anyone.

Their massage/facial services are on the pricy point, so if I try them out, they better stand up to the cost (I've had services for less at a Ritz Carlton... yes, they are pricy), BUT if they are THAT good, then BRING IT!
