Gisele has been my family's hairstylist for I guess a little over 10 years now- my mother, aunt and sister also get their hair done by her. She has actually become a wonderful and dear friend! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I drove all the way from my office in Falmouth last night to get my first wax here. I had done some research and the reviews for Brazilian Touch were better than most salons when it came to waxing, but more importantly the price was less than HALF what my regular hair salon charged. The price is what has held me back from getting waxed for years- as a single person living in a high cost of living area, I can't afford half my paycheck for a wax. This salon is SPOTLESSLY clean and gorgeously decorated. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor- its mostly black and pink with some zebra and green accents thrown in. I called around 3pm and they were able to get me in for a 6pm appointment. I got a parking spot right out front. I was pretty nervous going in but Zaly has a definite calming presence. I didn't know what to expect but she was quick and the pain was no where near what I had thought it would be. I got a full brazilian and half leg (upper) wax. The total for both of these was $60, which is still less than my regular hair salon charges for JUST the brazilian. I made an appointment for next month when I left. I cannot say enough about this place. I took a bunch of business cards and will be handing them out to all my girlfriends. read more

I received a Brazilian wax and was very pleased with both the experience and outcome. My esthetician was very kind, personable, and took her time to make sure she was thorough. She even took an extra few minutes to quickly clean up my eyebrows, something that I had not scheduled when booking my appointment - I asked while we were in the room. Brazilian Touch Salon uses the gel wax (not hard wax) so that the waxing does not hurt as much, and it is better for sensitive skin. I will definitely return to Brazilian Touch Salon. I'd also like to have my hair cut there, as the stylists definitely know what they are doing! read more

Really wanted to like this place and become a regular, but unfortunately that won't be happening. Went here for the first time today for my first Brazilian wax ever and was very disappointed. When I arrived, I was rushed into the room, asked if I had any questions and was barely given five seconds to put my things down and undress. The experience wasn't painful, uncomfortable, but not painful, so that was good, but it also wasn't thorough. My sister is an aesthetician so I knew what I was getting into and what to expect (I would have let her do it if she didn't live 5,000 miles away). No pre-wax cleanser, double dipping with the same stick multiple times into the pot, going over the same spot so many times, and my biggest issue, still being covered in hair after she was done. I have whole, splotchy sections that are still completely covered in hair. Then I was rushed out the door so quickly I didn't get to check to see how she had done. I hesitantly made another appointment for a month from now, but once I got home and saw all that hair I had supposedly paid to get removed, I called back with my complaint and to cancel the appointment and was dealt with very nonchalantly like it was no big deal at all. So disappointed with my first Brazilian wax. Wish I had listened to the few reviews mentioning this Zaly woman a few doors down and went to her instead. read more

Do not go to this place for a Brazilian wax! While my lady was super nice and made me feel comfortable (the only reason I am giving this place more than 1 star) my results were horrible! I was still covered in wax when I left, my skin was red for days and I have scans from bleeding! She didn't offer to tweeze after or clean up any of the wax. And I had huge patches of hair, it was like she barely did anything! I had to go to another salon just to fix it! The lady who fixed it told me that the first lady actually ripped my hair and used the wrong kind of wax! I know these waxes are cheap but you obviously get what you pay for so go somewhere else! I had the Brazilian Blowout done by Rosie and I couldn't be happier with the results! I have blonde (highlighted) hair, so it has some damage and it is generally curly and frizzy. I used to spend a good 30 minutes blowdrying it straight with a round brush and touching it up with a straightening iron. Now I can quickly run a blow dryer through it in 15 minutes or let it air dry! Thanks Rosie, I will be back! read more

I have been living in Manhattan for 25 years and had my choice of the best salons in the city. While on Cape Cod I've tried Aveda in both locations and was extremely disappointed with their service. (Don't even think about Procuts in Centerville! Horrible.) Brazilian touch got my color perfect on the first try. Not only that they know how to blow dry your hair! When I tell a stylist that I want my hair blown out shiny silky smooth and they get it on the first try I'm super impressed! At Aveda they "dry" your hair. Meaning, they put the blow dryer on your head and brush your hair. Then they say, "would you like me to flat iron your hair". Not the same! This was my second visit. First time was last year and I got a haircut and the Brazilian straightening treatment and I was extremely happy with both. Giselle is very good and attentive. This time I went for a haircut only and I didn't have an appointment. I was in the area and due to change of plans I had some extra time to kill so I figured I'd check and see if they take walk ins. Giselle informed me that usually she only works by appointment but she had a cancelation (yay lucky me) so she was happy to take me. I showed her some pictures and mentioned that my hair's been really frizzy lately and was driving me crazy. I have very long and thick hair and it was just so hard to manage. She suggested a frizz treatment that was similar to the Brazilian straightening but not as harsh, so of course I said go for it. It's been 2 weeks now and my hair is frizz free and it takes me about 15min to dry and style!!!( remember I mentioned my hair is very long and thick) I am so extremely happy I did this!!! I get a ton of compliments too! Giselle did a great job with the haircut as well. The treatment lasts for 3 months and I am so going back for another one!!! I highly recommend this place!
