Sunita is fabulous! I usually get my brows done at my regular spot in Chicago because I have very sensitive skin, but I'm on cape frequently with my family and needed to get them threaded. Sunita was incredibly responsive with scheduling and clearly knows a lot about both threading and working with sensitive skin! I usually get little bumps of irritation and/or lasting redness whenever anything touches my face, but what little redness I had after Sunita's service faded incredibly quickly, not to mention that my eyebrows look great. This weekend I experienced the most amazing facial services with Aesthetician, Sunita, at Beauty Pros in Hyannis, MA. (Beauty Pros in located next to Staples in the Staples/TJ Maxx plaza at the airport rotary) First, things started off with Sunita removing my makeup with a gentle cleanser that has no harmful chemicals. (Think Ava Anderson) She then cleansed my skin with a handheld gizmo (bt-micro by Bio Therapeutics) that uses only water and high speed oscillation to get amazing ultrasonic cleansing results. [Avoiding harmful chemicals has become high on my list of priority since in the past years I have been dealing with allergies] Secondly was Dermaplaning. What is Dermaplaning you ask? It is a noninvasive skin rejuvenation treatment that gives your skin an amazing polished look. (I know I keep using this word- but believe me- it's amazing!) Essentially it removes the top layer of your facial skin which will get rid of dead skin cells, facial hair, as well as many surface imperfections. And it leaves your face as smooth as...well, as a baby's bottom. [Having such smooth and hairless skin is so nice when you wear foundation and other cosmetics, I just love it!] Thirdly the light therapy treatment: Sunita uses Low Level Laser therapy (LLLT) with a nifty modality that uses both near infrared blue & red light therapy for healing the skin on the cellular level. Please note- another noninvasive treatment. [Sidebar: I have been having LLLT treatments on my foot and have had profound results. Micro-current also plumps muscle tissue so my skin felt firm and look lifted. The end results were- dare I say it- amazing! My skin was smooth, firm, and glowed with no signs of redness. I have terrible allergies and sensitive skin so to find such an effective and nonchemical treatment is exciting. (You thought I was going to say amazing didn't you?) And while I'm on the topic of nonchemical treatments- Sunita does hair removal (brows, lip, chin, and full face) with the 'threading' technique that uses only a thread and no chemicals or wax. As a licensed Aesthetician myself, I can say, with industry knowledge, that Sunita has put together a very effective, noninvasive, relaxing antiaging facial treatment that will improve not only the appearance but the health of your skin.
