Solstice is an inviting salon that offers everything to pamper your self needs. Today I had the dermaplane relaxing facial. Madi was my esthetician. I thoroughly enjoyed the process which also includes a mini neck, foot and hand massage. I love the products used, Glo. My makeup looks better without the peach fuzz on my skin and just an overall shine and softness is wonderful. I highly recommend Madi and this service. read more

Solstice Salon & Day Spa - Madi business card - Hair Salons Near Me - Hyannis, Massachusetts

Madi was amazing! She did my dermaplane and relaxing facial, and the entire experience was exactly what I needed. She's incredibly professional yet so personable--easy to talk to when you're in the mood for conversation, but also perfectly tuned into giving you total relaxation when you want to just unwind. My skin looks and feels fantastic, and I left feeling refreshed and pampered. Highly recommend booking with Madi! read more

I had a haircut with Stephani who is absolutely amazing. She was kind, professional, and listened to my needs. I showed her some inspo photos for a total makeover-she went above and beyond my expectations! I am obsessed with my hair!!! best part was my comfort level, stress free and felt like I was chatting with a girlfriend the whole time. highly recommend! read more

I recommend this place to everyone looking for anything! I have my hair done there, get pedicures and massages there..they can service your every personal need. All the staff are great, the atmosphere and vibe is great..you will never go wrong using solstice! read more

I have been going to solstice spa for months. I treat myself to a massage every month. Andrea is my masseuse and she is splendid. Very friendly. She chats with me a little at the beginning and then lets me relax throughout. I have had mani pedis there as well. The desk staff are always welcoming and accommodating to my schedule. I highly recommend them read more

Had another fantastic massage with Andrew. He's always been a master at his craft; however, this masseur just seems to get better with time! Loved the vibe in Solstice Day, I guess this is why they received Best Spa on the Cape. Thank-u Andrew and thank-u Solstice Day Spa! read more

Somehow I had never noticed Solstice Day Spa on Main Street until I received a gift certificate. The giver is someone who I know researched reviews and prices thoroughly! I had an amazing facial followed by a massage, and had they not left me so completely relaxed, the staff would have had to drag me out of there. (: Everyone was extremely welcoming, friendly, and professional, and the spa is wonderfully clean. I will definitely be back! read more

Found this place yesterday on a quick google search. Booked an appointment. At no time during this phone call did anyone advise that I need to wear a mask for the entire massage. One hour prior to my massage the next day I got a text saying I have to wear a mask for the entire massage. Sounds relaxing. So I called to cancel. I was told that I should have looked on their social media. I don't have social media. I was told there's signs all over at the premises about masks. Well I've never been there I called and booked it. So I'm also told that since I'm cancelling same day they are going to charge me the full amount. Not cool. read more

Went in for a massage after working 3 consecutive 12-hr shifts at a hospital. I was exhausted and my body really needed that extra pinch of relaxation to kick off a few days off in my schedule. Sadly I cannot remember the name of my massage therapist, but I bought a 90-minute massage, firm pressure & full body, and cannot believe how perfect it was. The service was exceptional, and she was receptive to my needs. Did not do any talking after we got started. Definitely on the pricier end, but this seems consistent with the Cape Cod market. Only other note is that the facility smelled a little weird when you enter & are waiting in reception / nail care area. Odd, and a little distracting, but everything was fine in the massage room itself. read more

This is our second visit to the spa and again it was fantastic ! Heather was so helpful and nice on the phone. We had massages with Andrew and Shelby and they were amazing!! read more

My wife and I scheduled massages here for Thursday September 28th and had a wonderful experience! From scheduling by phone to the personnel both at the desk and the massage therapists this was truly worth the price and experience! The entire afternoon from start to finish was exceptional and we recommend Andrew and Shelby as your therapist read more

The message therapists are all excellent. I am also impressed with the friendly front desk staff. I have had appointments with 3 different therapists and they were all professional, caring, compassionate people, who truly strive to bring comfort and relief to their message clients. You just cannot go wrong with any of the therapists! I gave not tried other services but i plan to get a facial and manicure snd pedicure in the near future! Great customer focused salon ! read more

My hair now looks like a blond version of Bozo. Really very poor hairdresser. Unfortunately it is so difficult to find a great hairdresser on the Cape that listens and is able to follow through with your request as opposed to experiencing an unpleasant hair result when you finally get to view it in the mirror. read more

I had an amazing facial with Val! I chose the Dermaplane with Relaxing Facial I have sensitive skin so I have to careful with what products and services I get. Val was not only gentle, but used a Cold Globe on my skin that was so soothing and calming, a total game changer for me! Highly recommend! read more

I've had two great experiences at Solstice. Both times I had a Massage with Andrea and a Facial with Val. They make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. The second visit this past March I got an eye lash lift and tint and - WOW - Thanks Val!! A month later my lashes still look great, I will definitely be getting that again! I can't recommend them enough!! read more

What an awesome appointment my daughter had with Val for her eyebrows! She's 13 so I was a bit nervous for her to have her eye brows waxed but when youre Italian it's a must! IYKYK! Val was nothing short of amazing with her. Val does an amazing brow and was great with a younger client! We'll definitely be back! Thanks Val! read more

Exceptional. Knowledgeable masseuse, warm and welcoming staff -- the entire experience is relaxed and comfortable.

While spending the weekend on the Cape w/my sunshine for our birthdays we decided to pamper ourselves & I could not be happier w/my choice. I had the Summer Solstice Treatment w/Harter & he was amazing!! It was my first time here & having this type of treatment. Harter was the perfect person to do it too!! He let me know everything that was happening as we went & addressed my problem areas perfectly, always making sure I was comfortable & happy!! I will absolutely be returning to see him again!!! read more

Always enjoy! Staff is fantastic from nails to massages to blowout's. Tucked away - it's quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend calling ahead for an appointment- especially in the summer time when the tourists come to town. read more

Irina gave me a wonderful manicure. The price is higher than I pay at my usual spot but I came for a girls manicure with a friend who needed to be in Hyannis. What a pretty spa and everyone is oh so friendly. read more

Came here for work and needed a massage. I had Andrea Childs and she was one of the best massage therapists that I have had in a long time. She was amazing. She worked my neck and shoulders and used good lotions and I left feeling refreshed. I should have had a 2 hour massage. Amazing. read more

I have a facial at Solstice about once a month. Every time I go, Ivy changes up the facial, based on what's going on with my skin at the time. Today my skin was super stressed, a hot mess. She did extra extractions and also used some sort of charcoal mask on the area. My eyes were puffy, so she used some under eye pads. She saw that I was having issues with eczema in some areas and oil in others and she went out of her way to address both. Her fingers massage and tap like magic. It's so relaxing and my face feels and looks so much better. I highly recommend a Signature Facial with Ivy. read more

It was our first visit - my husband and I loved our massages with Harder, and manicures with Maggie. Every little detail was so thoughtful--it felt like the spas I loved when I lived in California. Thank you so much. We will be back! read more

I have been two times for massages, but am planning many more visits!!! The staff is great, the spa atmosphere is delightfully relaxing, and for me the location is a huge bonus - just around the corner from work:-) The steam shower melts away your stress, I highly reccomend adding this on to your massage treatment. Helps set the mood for pure relaxation.... Both Kim K and Tabatha have been my massage therapists, and both were excellent. They make a point of asking what you like and don't like during a massage, a small detail that many other therapists seem to overlook. Fan them on facebook and you will get random specials and updates for upcoming events. read more

Went in for a hot shell massage with Kim Moss and I can't say enough about the service and Kim. I have major back issues and Kim works magic. Always friendly and always immaculate at solstice. Highly recommend I also am a regular for my mani / pedi appointments with Iryna and I can't say enough! I went from nubby non existent nails that I bite off to beautiful adult hands. Products and someone who can guide you make all the difference. What really makes Solstice stand out is the customer service. The staff is amazing they will go out of their way to make sure your requests and needs are met. Even last minute ones thank you ladies you really are the best at what you do! read more

Ultra professional team that is passionate about what they do and it shows. I have never had anything less than a top notch facial, massage or any service ever received there. If you're looking for a spa on the cape, this is your place! read more

Best place ever, in every way. THANK YOU for the child-free policy! Kids are great, but not in a spa or salon setting. Just one of countless ways Solstice "gets it" and goes above and beyond for all their clients. So lucky to find this level of service and professionalism on Cape Cod! read more

Very disappointing. A friend and I went there with GC - The woman who booked the appointments was lovely- unfortunately, it went downhill from there. I don't get pedicures often so it was a real treat to go. Their prices are much higher than others around so we were really expecting to have a great experience. If its clean, comfortable and friendly- I am happy. Unprofessional staff- Very uncomfortable chairs ( our necks were sore from the 90* angled straight up chairs ) and the results were so/so... at best You can find much better salons in many places for much lower prices. When my friend expressed some feedback- in a polite manner- she was met with rolled eyes- Please dont waste your money there- read more

I have been to Solstice Spa four times in the last year for a massage with Tabatha, I have to say it is wonderful!! Tabatha gives a Lava Shell massage that is so nice and relaxing. Tabatha speaks Portuguese and English. The new place is much nicer than the old place. They also send you email specials and coupons. There is a full salon with manicures and pedicures, also a full staff of hairstylists. It is right on Main Street in Hyannis. If your on vacation and want a relaxing massage this is the place to go. read more

Kim M. Gave me my first massage! It was absolutely amazing! I could not have been more pleased with the services I received. When I visit Hyannis again, I will definitely be scheduling another appointment with Kim! Thanks! read more

This company is beyond "stuck-up". They do not allow children to even enter their building which is appauling. I was given a gift card for a large amount of money that I was told Now that I am not allowed to use on ANY services ONLY product due to "canceling an appointment" that I did not even make nor get any confirmation. I find this discusting an very poor services when your running a high end salon. I know several master hairstylists that think this is unethical. As well as myself my family member also goes there an is a VERY good client an NOW is no longer going to continue services as this is poor customer service. read more

I've been going here for a year and a half, and I have always been treated very well by Kitsy for facials and waxing. However, I tried to go for hair and nails, but my hair took a long time, not a big deal, right?? I have a lot of hair! Donna was great. I had to pick someone up, so I told them I didn't think I had time for the pedicure. My head was in the sink full of foils and the receptionist comes over and says, we have a 24hr cancelation policy so we are going to have to charge you for the pedicure. I spend a lot of money on my hair and so on, you really want to lose me by charging $50 for a pedicure that I ran out of time for? I'm sorry that I didn't know it was going to be over 3 hours for this. They charged me. I'm a year round cape resident and this has really upset me. It's not about the money, but it was rude and short sighted. read more

The massage was great but the constant pounding of little feet running upstairs in Puritan was so not relaxing!! I think Solstice should go back to Independence Park or to their own building. I'm paying for the whole experience, right? read more

Awesome experience!!! The spa has a casual, yet very professional vibe. My daughter & I visited Solstice during a girls weekend. Services we had were: massage, facial, & pedicures. Our services were AMAZING (& we're pretty fussy!)!! Best pedis ever with Jen & Iryna. Amazing, most relaxing facial with Kitsy. She is a real pro...used the perfect products, etc..., for my skin issues. I came out looking 10 years younger!! My daughter received a top notch massage from Kimber. I also indulged in a fantastic steam bath. Everyone was so sweet & kind. We've decided to make Solstice a yearly event during our future visits to the Cape!! Thank you to the entire Solstice staff for a wonderful spa time!! read more

Tabatha gives a great massage 3 out of the 4 times has been with her and next time will also be with her. Every is super friendly and helpful. Had sports manicure and pedicures there and they did a fabulous job. read more

I have been going to Solstice Day Spa since it opened at it's previous location. Kim is my massage therapist and she is Amazing. I have some serious arthritis issues and Kim knows how to deal with them all. My brother has seen Kim and Tabitha and loved them both. You never have to fear a massage that will hurt or a therapist that won't listen, this is the pace to go. You are always heard here and the atmosphere is so relaxing .I always leave there feeling incredible. I have also had mani's and pedi's there. I leave with great looking feet and the selection of polish colors are great and they always have new ones. Next trip I plan on trying out the steam shower. read more

Lovely receptionist, but very poor customer service from the manager and owner. Went there for a hair coloring, provided photo of light ash blond that I needed in order to marry with my gray hair. Instead came out with beige in front of my head and on top, and warm brown in the back of my head. Wish I could post the photos as it is actually comical. They charged me $200 for that mess, including $50 for a "gloss" treatment that I never asked for, which was apparently applied when they washed my hair. To add insult to injury they told me I would have to pay full price for another stylist to correct the the mistakes of the first. What, another $200?? Very unprofessional. Won't ever be going back and will certainly never recommend this overpriced and arrogant salon. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This review is for nails only. I went here recently for my wedding after being referred by my make up artist. Overall a good experience. Greeting and salon atmosphere and the women that did our nails were very pleasant, conversational and fun. I think if we hadn't wanted to talk and just relax they would have respected that as well. Overall nails were good my only criticism is lack of colors and polish selection. They don't carry Essie or any natural options. One of my girls had recently finished chemo and was hoping for Zoya or a more natural option in polish... They only carry OPI. Other than that great experience and we will be back to try their other services. read more

Went in for a pedicure and expected to be pampered - for twice the price of any local nail salon can you blame me? Instead, got a technician who barely spoke and who looked like she'd rather be watching the movie on the television. Pedicure is fine but I've gotten the same and spent less many times. read more
