Then Covid hit and the business was closed for a year. Last year I still didnt feel comfortable enough to be in such close proximity to someone leaning over my face so I waited until now to redeem my certificate. The owner said her rates have gone up to $150 and that I would have to pay the extra to cover the increase which in my opinion is unethical. She couldn't even tell me how much my mom paid for my certificate but my sisters and I thought $100. She made a big deal about it and said it would take her a long time to find the price! Then she said she isn't even taking new clients ! I asked for the $100 back and she wouldn't give it to me . She said "I'm too old to argue and don't feel I have to explain my price increase. I stand by my pricing". She had no options for me to resolve the situation and by then her attitude was so toxic I just left and lost the gift my mother offered me. Very disappointing experience. Lousy attitude and no compassion.

So she bounced between my friend and myself and performed a rushed and inadequate service on both of us. I have had many facials and never paid so much for such an inferior experience.
