I had such a lovely visit to this spa. I was staying at the Inn, and it was a sort of graduation trip for me, so I booked a nail appointment and a massage appointment. Both were great! Stephanie did my dip powder manicure and she did a great job. The massage therapist was Virginia, and it was also great. read more

The Himlayan Salt Rock massage with Kimberly was incredible. Her technique is patient and calm, even her breathing and pace helped reset all my energy lines. I loved this massage's combo of warm rock & salt. The ambience in the room was also soothing with a charming electric faux fireplace and glowing salt lamps. read more

The atmosphere was welcoming and calming. I got the shoulder, neck, and back massage and my boyfriend got a deep tissue massage. We both enjoyed our massages! My massage therapist even showed me some stretches for my shoulders due to my job which I am often hunched over for. read more

I had booked a CBD pedicure 2weeks prior to my stay at Daniel Webster Inn. I had booked 3 rooms for my family for a 2 night stay. Several of my family members booked massages and were very satisfied. When I went for my appointment, I was greeted by a receptionist that didn't even escort me to the pedicure chair "just walk down the hall" is what she told me. I found the manicurist sitting on her phone, never greeted me told me to pick out my color and I went to the chair myself. She kept walking in and out, seemed confused. She told me that they did not have the CBD oil so I had to pick out another pedicure. I did, and she told me that I could not have that one either because her ride was coming and she could not wait. I was appalled by all of this, the degree of unprofessionalism was quite disappointing. I built my whole weekend around the spa services, I will never book another appointment there ever again. By the way, this does not reflect on the Inn- they were very helpful. read more

Kimberly gave me the BEST massage of my life. I'm a fitness instructor & I rarely get massages anymore because no matter how much I stress " deep tissue" it's never deep enough. She worked on me for 50 minutes using mostly her forearm. It was amazing. The entire spa is beautiful. I also got a facial with Eileen & she was very meticulous & knowledgeable. read more

The Spa promised a wonderful mother/daughter mani/pedi experience consisting of scented creams, strawberry shakes and toe rings. We didn't receive any of these! Not only was the manicurist a half hour late for our appt. we were in a room with no windows and no ambience (soothing music etc).Her filing technique was a basic run over once that barely was noticeable. This was a hundred dollar event for us that we were really looking forward to for my daughter's 13th birthday. We were very dissapointed and we are never going back. read more

The Beach Plum Spa at the Dan'l Webster Inn is absolutely HORRENDOUS. This was my first spa experience and I was very much looking forward to a relaxing detox but instead was rushed through the treatments I had ordered, so much so that I was actually stressed out by the rapidity with which they shepherded me through the processes. The attitude of the masseuse assigned to me was colder than the "peppermint cream" (read: IcyHot) she slathered on my neck and shoulders, and it literally took me a full hour of making small talk with her during my treatments to warm her up to me. Continuing with the theme of frigidity, he room I was in was so cold that she had to turn on a heat lamp so I would stop shivering, and it's not so easy to forget the world and relax when you're sizzling under a 300 watt meat cooker. My friend and I had requested to be in the same room which they had originally said they would do, but upon arriving, we were shuttled into different rooms, a thorn in the side of our romantic girls weekend. They then proceeded to cut our treatments short by a good 30 minutes, without any word of warning, because we had arrived slightly late. The treatment itself was sub-par and hurried; I could do a better job at home myself for a tenth of the cost. To top it all off, when we requested a discount on the treatments because they were cut short, we were verbally abused and accused of being irresponsible because we were late to our appointment. In my humble opinion, the customer always comes first and is always right in a service organization, and if for some reason something goes wrong or there's a scheduling snafu, the company should do everything in its power to compensate the customer for the trouble caused (especially when we're shelling out $300 a piece of our hard-earned money). This is definitely NOT the mantra a the Beach Plum Spa, where it seems frustration and finger-pointing are their idea of customer service. At the end of the day, I felt stressed, poor, and slimy (from the low-grade body butter they had used far too liberally). So save your money, time and nerves and go somewhere else--ANYWHERE else. read more

I just returned from a trip to the Beach Plum Spa in Sandwich. I had had some good experience with the one in Plymouth, but this was definitely sub-par. My friend and I had each booked a 50-minute massage and a 50-minute facial. Mine began with a massage that was so light it really was just the application of the oil. The massage therapist never asked my preferences, in fact, when I told her an area I wanted her to avoid, she told me she was just going to do her usual and I could object during the massage if I wanted. She never touched my neck and barely touched my shoulders. I can't say for sure, but I don't think the massage was more than 40 minutes. The same woman did my facial, which was better, but still not average. I kept thinking that I hoped my friend was having a better experience, but when we compared notes, she was also very disappointed. We agreed that any of the other spas we have visited would be a better choice. Top top it off, it was very expensive. I should also say that the dirty purple carpeting in the entry way and relaxation room is quite a turn-off. If you want to treat yourself, look around. I won't recommend another spa here, but I suspect you would be happy somewhere else. read more

My friends and I visited to celebrate my friend's upcoming wedding. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, making sure we had food and drinks from the restaurant in between treatments. I had a salt scrub treatment with Patty- she was attentive and professional. We were all happy with our services and will definitely return. The serenity area could use a bit of a facelift- otherwise this was a 5 star experience. read more

Re: the SPA TERRIBLE customer service. I have never been treated with such disrespect -- and one would not expect this from a spa, which should provide a relaxing, friendly environment for customers. My friend and I were visiting the town, and got lost driving to this spa - and as a result were 30 minutes late. We phoned in to let them know we were running late - and they said it was fine - and then were brought in to start our 2 hour appointment like there were no problems. 1.5 hours later - we were kicked out, but billed for the whole treatment. When I requested a discount of 25% off the price (ie the half hour of treatment that we missed), we were told that because we were late - because we got lost in Hyannis - it was OUR fault and we should have known that they would bill us the full amount and they had no responsibility to tell us. On top of that -- I was treated rudely by staff there for requesting this "discount", was yelled at over the phone, and was repeatedly told that I was wrong. OK, we shouldn't have been late - but people get lost, and we would have appreciated being told that our appointment would be cut short due to our arrival time. On top of all that - the spa service was sub-par -- I felt like I just wasted my time, my energy, and my money. Save yours - don't go here. read more

This feedback is in respect to the facials and no other service. Staff was friendly, but the facial service itself was Terrible. It wasn't even worth my time--if it were free. I would prefer to spend more money a good facial--then less on a mediocre facial. This facial was expensive and BAD. If a hotel spa wants to charge top dollar for their spa services, then they need the highly skilled estheticians to back it up. This facial was an absolute rip off. I could not wait for it to be over it was so bad and I'm usually pretty easy. If you are in the cape cod area, would suggest some of the smaller spas in the area. Avoid-avoid this spa for facials. read more

I live in Sandwich and I often use the services at the Beach Plum Spa. I regularly have a hot stone massage and have had several facials as well. It is a wonderful place. The waiting area is serene, the staff is friendly and helpful and the treatments are excellent. I would recommend this spa to anyone. read more

My sister and I went her for facials yesterday and had a wonderful experience. We literally both left with glowing skin. The overall experience was relaxing and such a treat. Hi- Sammy was by far and away the best nail tech that I have ever encountered in all the years that I have been getting manicures and pedicure. My nails and toes came out perfect! Sammy was so excellent that I might consider driving down to Sandwich occasionally from my home in Norton just to experience her excellent nail services. This was my first time here and let me tell you it will not be my last! As it was my first time at Beach Plum Spa, I was kindly greeted by Kristen at the desk as soon as I opened the door, she had checked me in and assisted me to the waiting area, where she offered me coffee, tea, water or some trail mix and that Elizabeth, my nail technician will be with me momentarily. As I waited in the cosy area I took in the beautiful artwork and the peacefulness of the waiting area. It wasn't long before Elizabeth had come and greeted me for my services, which was the Peppermint Pedicure that smelt absolutely amazing! The pedicure chair was so comfortable, and of course it had a built in massager which was just as great! The water was perfect, the scrub & lotion along with the tremendous massage just topped it off! ...how can I forget the hot towels, amazing! I literally felt nothing but relaxed, did I mention the Cabernet Sauvignon!? I had also received the SNS dip manicure, also by Elizabeth, that came out more beautiful than I could ever expect! Not only did she take her time, but made me feel comfortable & relaxed the whole entire time, I did not feel rushed whatsoever during my services. If you are in the area and are looking for top notch quality, than this is your place! I am beyond pleased that I have found this hidden gem! I will most definitely be back for future services!
