I've gone to this day spa several times, and every visit, they do not disappoint. The massage…read moretables always have warm towels and the masseuses don't leave any muscles un-massaged! Im lucky that I have almost always had Kim, the proprietor, as my masseuse. She is wonderful! If you want to talk during the massage, she always obliges, but if you want silence, she'll do that too. She makes sure you have a massage that meets your goals and needs. I've been to Chatham Bars Inn as part of a group, and the massage was ok, but the "bedside manner" made me feel like a number in a crowd. It was far more expensive and far less personalized. I won't be going to CBI again, and I have signed up for once monthly massages with Kim. Also, it's good to know that Le Petit Day Spa can accommodate 5 people at a time, each in separate and private rooms.

My credit card bill says I paid 235.60. I think they upsold the "type" of massage without talking with me about it. They also charge a 4% credit card surcharge, which violates merchant rules with the networks and is not very expected for a high-end establishment and price point. 2. Sadly my massage just wasn't very effective. Very light pressure throughout. I left with most of all the same muscle tension that I went in with. I've had a lot of massages and this one was like 95th percentile in price and 30th percentile in effectiveness.

This facial exceeded my expectations by a LOT…read more The studio is spotlessly clean, cozy, and inviting. I undressed to the waist and slipped under a soft down cover on a professional spa bed. Kelly cleansed the skin on my face, neck, and shoulders with high-quality ocean-based products, then did a gentle exfoliant and enzyme peel while warm steam wafted over me. Truthfully it is hard to remember all of the steps of the facial because I was lulled into a blissful state of consciousness! What I do remember: warm moist towels on my face, shoulders, and feet, soft spa music, exfoliating my feet and lower legs, extracting gunk out of my skin, seaweed-based masks on my face and feet, anti-aging serums, gentle yet thorough massage of my face, neck, shoulders, hands, feet, AND lower legs! There was no criticism of my sloppy skin care habits, no endless chatter, and definitely no product hard sell going on as in other places I have visited. Kelly just radiates acceptance, kindness, and restorative energy. I left with glowing velvety skin and a sense of having been cared-for in a very real way. I am glad I went, I will be going back for more facials, and I highly recommend Kelly and her studio to everyone!

The atmosphere was so calming and relaxing along with being cute and CLEAN! Kiki was warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, which made me feel both comfortable and confident that I was in great hands. The facial itself was exceptional--by far one of the best I've ever had. Every step was done with such care and intention. Not only was it incredibly relaxing, but my skin looked absolutely radiant afterward--smooth, glowing, and refreshed. What really stood out to me was how knowledgeable she was. She answered all of my questions without overwhelming me, and gave me helpful, tailored advice without any pressure to buy products. It's clear she truly cares about her clients and their skin health. It was so nice to hear what would work best for MY skin. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch facial from someone who knows their craft and makes the whole experience feel like a treat. Thank you again, Kiki, I'll definitely be back!

Unethical business practices! My mom bought my sisters and me each a gift certificate for a facial…read moreas a Xmas present before she died in the fall of 2019. Then Covid hit and the business was closed for a year. Last year I still didnt feel comfortable enough to be in such close proximity to someone leaning over my face so I waited until now to redeem my certificate. The owner said her rates have gone up to $150 and that I would have to pay the extra to cover the increase which in my opinion is unethical. She couldn't even tell me how much my mom paid for my certificate but my sisters and I thought $100. She made a big deal about it and said it would take her a long time to find the price! Then she said she isn't even taking new clients ! I asked for the $100 back and she wouldn't give it to me . She said "I'm too old to argue and don't feel I have to explain my price increase. I stand by my pricing". She had no options for me to resolve the situation and by then her attitude was so toxic I just left and lost the gift my mother offered me. Very disappointing experience. Lousy attitude and no compassion.
