The staff here were beyond lovely, and the space is beautiful and clean and well-maintained. And conveniently located! Two big gripes though: 1. The website says a 50 min massage is 170. My credit card bill says I paid 235.60. I think they upsold the "type" of massage without talking with me about it. They also charge a 4% credit card surcharge, which violates merchant rules with the networks and is not very expected for a high-end establishment and price point. 2. Sadly my massage just wasn't very effective. Very light pressure throughout. I left with most of all the same muscle tension that I went in with. I've had a lot of massages and this one was like 95th percentile in price and 30th percentile in effectiveness. read more

Never got back to me after appointment request while I was up visiting the Cape for a celebration of life. Disappointing.

I've gone to this day spa several times, and every visit, they do not disappoint. The massage tables always have warm towels and the masseuses don't leave any muscles un-massaged! Im lucky that I have almost always had Kim, the proprietor, as my masseuse. She is wonderful! If you want to talk during the massage, she always obliges, but if you want silence, she'll do that too. She makes sure you have a massage that meets your goals and needs. I've been to Chatham Bars Inn as part of a group, and the massage was ok, but the "bedside manner" made me feel like a number in a crowd. It was far more expensive and far less personalized. I won't be going to CBI again, and I have signed up for once monthly massages with Kim. Also, it's good to know that Le Petit Day Spa can accommodate 5 people at a time, each in separate and private rooms. read more

Britta and her team were wonderful and so accommodating and welcoming! Our group of friends just celebrated a 40th birthday at the spa this past Saturday and I can't say enough good things about the service we received. Not only did Britta promptly return my initial phone call, but she was thorough and detailed throughout our entire booking process, working with me patiently as I finalized details, and ultimately sending along a detailed itinerary to make sure our afternoon ran smoothly. Our group of 6 was split into two groups for services which was totally fine (and even appreciated) because they let us take over the 1st floor waiting area (and bring snacks and decorations) and we had time to chat and catch up. Jen at the front desk greeted us with a smile, and was helpful and attentive, yet appropriately removed to let us do our thing. What a perfect day! I had contacted Kim months before the trip I was planning for my best friend's 50th birthday. We LOVE spa days, so this was a critical element of our weekend. Kim was able to put together the perfect package for us. A couple of times in the months leading up to our spa day I contacted Kim with questions. She was super quick to respond and always so sweet. On the day of our appointment Kim wished my friend a Happy Birthday when she greeted us. What a sweetheart! She put my friend in Jen's capable care and handed me off to Ann. My bestie and I each were each scrubbed and massaged into bliss before our hydrating facials. Then we enjoyed mani/pedis in the gorgeous loft. (Kim did mine personally!) We didn't want to leave. Best massage my mother had in her entire life. She has received massages on the worlds fanciest cruise ships, most expensive hotels and spas around the world, but who knew that just in Chatham we could go for the best massage ever. Visited this very charming spa in downtown Chatham as special afternoon for a friend and myself. Booked a last minute double massage for both of us. Confirmed online and on my call, the type we wanted as well as length. I also confirmed price, as my friend is on a fixed budget and sometimes websites have dated prices. The interior is lovely. Very friendly and calming. My massage was good and my massage professional was very nice. However, when we went to pay, the rate was higher than quoted on the phone and online. Receptionist stated we had combo massages, which I know, we did NOT have. Secondly, my girlfriend's massage therapist cut hers short by 20 mins. When my friend went to pay, she was charged the full 60 min rate, and, again as a combo massage. Not only did they state it was combo massage too (it wasn't), when she mentioned that hers was only for 40 mins, they didn't offer any sort of refund or any discount or apologize. Apparently, her massage person got her mixed up with another client. To make amends, her therapist gave back her cash tip. So my friend, who doesn't live up here, decided that was enough so didn't say anything more. Just don't understand how this could happen to both of us, within minutes of us checking out. UPDATE: after emailing spa, owner refunded almost all of my friends massage charge due to her being stopped 20 mins early. And offered me the $10 back on my card. Appreciate their response. Still unclear why this happened to both of us but I give credit where credit is due. It was good business to do so. So I will alter my review to three stars. read more

A lovely location, right in Downtown Chatham. The spa is small, but very warm and welcoming. I haven't been in a few years, and was wondering if it would be as good as I remembered. It absolutely was. I had a deep tissue massage,and my therapist found all my tight spots. The pressure was perfect - just deep enough to work out the kinks while still being relaxing. Definitely will make a return trip before leaving Chatham this summer. read more

After having services two different times my opinion would have been excellent. Check in is polite and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. I could have gone to the many nail salons that charge almost half of what I paid. I was very happy to pay extra for the service. The problem occurs after the pampering. I made several phone calls that were answered in person and by machine. I was promised a call right back which never occurred. Even after going in person to resolve the problem again I never had a call back. This is from the owner. I gladly pay for extra service. After three phone calls AND going in person, each time promised a response I never received one. Just incredible. I won't return because Le Petite Day Spa doesn't know how to give proper customer service. read more

Girls day out! First of many reviews starts here. While visiting my sister, I went out with my mum to enjoy a day around Chatham last week and started here, heard about this place from a few friends back home. Set the entire day right! The owner greeted us with a friendly face and smile right as we walked in. Not sure if every customer gets the same treatment but we felt like the whole appointment was specified to us. You can tell the owner (Kim) and the girls there enjoy what they do which makes all the difference. The spa itself was relaxing and done in such great taste. We had a massage followed by a mani/pedi. My girl was amazing and Kim cared for my mum. Normally mum complains about everything but she said she felt listened to, pampered and she was completely at peace when we went for a bite after. This was just what I needed. I had a deep-tissue massage with Kim. Before she started, she made sure I was comfortable with the pressure. It was perfect. Two things can ruin a good massage: a cold room and noise from other rooms. My room had a heater generating a pleasant fan noise that guaranteed a pleasant hour. Le Petite Day Spa is an amazing place. The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. The Spa itself is a peaceful and relaxing place to visit and the spa treatments are excellent. Whether it's a relaxing massage, facial or waxing & nails, everything is done to perfection. I wish I could visit more frequently, but I live over 2 hours away. However, I have been known to drive to the Cape for the sole purpose of enjoying a couple of hours at Le Petite Day Spa. I was visiting the Cape for a wedding and booked a massage with two days notice. Upon arriving at Le Petite Day Spa, my friend and I were greeted by a very nice receptionist. We had to wait just a few minutes but it wasn't a big deal. I then received the best massage that I have ever had! If you need some R and R, go see Tana. She is simply fabulous!! The next time I am visiting Cape Cod, I will surely be booking another appointment with her and this spa. read more
