I worked in a massage school in CA and we woukd have sent these therapists for remedial training. During their massage people came in the front door twice. This is the person for you! I have had massage work in the past and one incident left me very physically and emotionally hurt, you might even say I had post traumatic stress from it. It was very bad and scary. So I avoided massages for almost 10 years (not evan joking it was that traumatic) I work as an aesthetician myself, so I am familiar with massage therapist in the work place. Still, I never felt comfortable with anyone working on, never mind evan touching me. Than I met Beth through mutual friends, some months past and I was in a horrible car accident, I had SERVE WHIPLASH, and was in constant pain! Soft tissue damage is the worst feeling. Especially when you are on your feet all day, and your job requires you to use your full body to complete your tasks at hand. After 2 physically therapists, and a chiropractor, with still no relief . I felt hopeless..."How was I going to get back to normal?"" Would I ever feel right for work again?" " What if I need to change my career over this?" I felt so physically, and emotionally overwhelmed. Beth heard about my injury. She told me that she specialized in neck injuries. And would be happy to help me, when I was ready. A little over a year went by, still, a little unsure, but I gave it a try. The pain was so bad for so many months, after the accident. I was desperate for help... and I must say the only regret is that I didn't see Beth Calderwood sooner! During my massage Beth went slow and kept checking in with how I was doing/feeling. She took my past story VERY SERIOUSLY, and I was so appreciative of her understanding and patience. I am blessed to know Beth she has changed my life, my opinion on body work, and my neck is feeling much better with every visit I see her (about every 2-4 weeks I am proud to announce =D ) Its going to take sometime for all the scare tissue to leave, seeing that the injury was left untreated for so long. But Beth makes me feel confident that I'm on the right path for a FULL recovery!! Thanks Beth I owe you so much!! xo Angie
