Aching after the move, I HAD to get some relief. So far I've found one place I love, and then I tried BSDS! It is expensive folks. It is a small woman-owned business nestled in Hyannis. But as a small business, you will get that customized, love you to pieces service that only a small woman-owned business can. Kelly the owner is a peach of human and her staff are following her footsteps. I just moved to Cape Cod from Hudson, MA where I left my beloved massage therapist Melissa from Synergy Wellness. In pain and tired, I tried this place. Came in for an hour and stayed for 90 minutes. I was hoping for bone-crushing deep tissue, which Danielle couldn't deliver - for a reason. She wanted to know WHAT was hurting/in need of help. And focused on what the body craved in a silent dialogue between her and my aching bones. I woke up this morning with ZERO sciatica and shoulder pain. Using very interesting techniques, and applying heat and COLD, I don't know WHAT she did or how she did it, but she brought it. Im lucky that I have almost always had Kim, the proprietor, as my masseuse. She is wonderful! If you want to talk during the massage, she always obliges, but if you want silence, she'll do that too. She makes sure you have a massage that meets your goals and needs. I've been to Chatham Bars Inn as part of a group, and the massage was ok, but the "bedside manner" made me feel like a number in a crowd. It was far more expensive and far less personalized. I won't be going to CBI again, and I have signed up for once monthly massages with Kim. Also, it's good to know that Le Petit Day Spa can accommodate 5 people at a time, each in separate and private rooms.

My credit card bill says I paid 235.60. I think they upsold the "type" of massage without talking with me about it. They also charge a 4% credit card surcharge, which violates merchant rules with the networks and is not very expected for a high-end establishment and price point. 2. Sadly my massage just wasn't very effective. Very light pressure throughout. I left with most of all the same muscle tension that I went in with. I've had a lot of massages and this one was like 95th percentile in price and 30th percentile in effectiveness.
