FIVE STARS I had a deep tissue massage with Pablo today, focusing on my traps and lower back as primary spots. Holy **** ! First of all, the place is lovely. I was greeted by Doug, who makes you feel at home with a very calm and positive vibe. He then introduced me to Pablo, the star of the show. Did I say star? Rockstar is more like it. When Pablo says deep tissue, he means it. At times it felt like I had two guys working on me. He uses his thighs, knees and shin at the same time as his hands, forearms and upper arm. I don't know how he does it so flawlessly - he's like an octopus! He treated the problem areas I mentioned while connecting the work with the rest of my body. You can visualize how he makes the muscle progression. He is incredibly effective. I STRONGLY recommend Blu Day Spa and Pablo in particular if you are serious about recovery - whether it's a "formal" injury or you are just sore from everyday soreness. I'll be back for more and perhaps some old fashioned pampering as well! Absolutely read more

This spa is fantastic! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Highly recommended! We booked ahead of time, 2 friends and myself, and we were all able to get personalized massages to suit our needs. read more

Vlad was amazing! He took his time asking me questions about my health and what I was looking for in a massage. He explained what he wanted me to experience. His technique was professional, caring and kind. I would come back regularly if I didn't live so far (Florida). But I will whenever I'm in Provincetown. read more

This was our second time for a couples deep tissue massage. Very professional and talented. We plan on booking massages every time we visit Ptown, which is 3-4 times a year. Definitely worth every penny! read more

I was experiencing a lot of tightness in my neck and shoulders due to stress and decades of poor working habits. When I first came into the Blu Day Spa, Douglas listened carefully and asked me what sorts of things were causing me pain or discomfort. I saw him several times throughout our season in Provincetown, and he always worked with assurance and connection and created a meditative, healing space. The combination of Douglas' masterful deep tissue massage and stretching every day at home (as recommended by him), along with regular chiropractic care, has helped me feel better than ever! It's also contributed to my productivity at work and home. I'll be back next season! read more

We went here for a couples deep tissue massage with Doug and Vlad, which took place in adjoining rooms with an open partition. The spa does a good job creating a relaxing atmosphere - matching music, aroma, decor. I appreciated both their professionalism (asking about sensitive spots, receptive to adjusting pressure) and how you didn't feel like you were getting rushed out the door so they could move on to the next client. I could tell the massage was effective as Doug left me (good) sore and knot-free. read more

We had a very nice massages during our vacation at the Blu Day Spa. Found it on the Yelp App and gave it a try. Glad we did! The one hour massage was top notch!! My female masseuse made me high and worked my tight contracted legs. Felt like a new man. One thing I did not care for was that the massage rooms are all divided up in one big room, divided by sheets. So someone could be getting their massage a few feet away on the other side of the curtain which is weird. They ask you to whisper which is very awkward and when they speak to you they whisper as well. I had a hard time actually hearing what my masseuse's questions. I hope they build some walls. read more

Blu Day Spa - Massage Near Me - Provincetown, Massachusetts

This place is amazing! Wanted 3 massages at same time to celebrate 50th birthday with friends. Not only did we all receive incredible massages, we all got different pressures from our therapists, and it couldn't have been a better match up!! Truly made the day magical! Doug was awesome to work with to set things up, and gave such incredible service - I think I forgot my name a few times! 100% will be back again next time in Ptown!! read more

I had the most amazing massage with Vlad. Everyone of my knots are gone and my muscles are now singing! GO HERE for the best-

This was my first experience at Blu Day Spa and Vlad did an amazing job. He paid special attention to my back and shoulder area as requested. Vlad's massage technique was very well paced and he knew the exact amount of proper pressure to use in different areas of the body (I requested medium pressure). The amount of time Vlad spent on my arms was also a pleasant surprise. For someone still early in his tenure in the industry, he is a worthwhile experience. I will definitely be looking to book him again in the near future. read more

I have been to many many many great spas and massage parlors. The staff was accommodating and friendly . The masseuse did a reflexology/deep tissue massage and did a good job . The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the really upscale places I have been . However , for a good massage I do recommend Blu Day Spa. read more

I had a wonderful massage to start 2021. Doug was a very helpful and accommodating manager and Peter gave me an excellent 60-minute Swedish massage. He communicated well with me prior to the start and it was a peaceful and invigorating hour!! I've been before with excellent service...and I'll be back! read more

Tony's arms= untied knots. I booked a couples massage here and Tony and team were nothing short of excellent. The atmosphere is tranquil and the staff encourages pure relaxation. For $120 for 2 people, this deal was hard to beat. TIP YOUR MASSEUSE People! They deserve it here. read more

The Russian massuer Vlad was so good and intuitive. He knows where the stews points were.

I loved this place. It was very clean and beautiful. It was referred to me by my manicurist in Ptown. Tony gave me an amazing massage. In all my years of coming to Ptown - it was the best massage ever! Everyone was so professional and welcoming. read more

First of all, my body's a mess, I'm lazy, overweight, out of shape, bloated and achy. These fellas did a number on me. I have to say this was the best deep message I ever had. I feel like I may go back home and actually take care of myself. (If this is what I can feel like). read more

My wife and I were in town for a few days to relax. We decided last minute on massages and are so happy we did. Pablo and Sheila were excellent! We left feeling refreshed and restored. Thanks again! We highly recommend this spot! read more

I had a wonderful massage with Vlad at the Blu Day spa. He listened to my requests and did a great job of releasing the muscle tension in my neck. I highly recommend! read more

Both of us had massages here today. Mine went like this. Andy was my masseur. I told him about the pain on my right side and the tension I was feeling. I told him I liked it hard, lot of pressure. He said, "I don't like any wimpy massages (He used a different word.) It wasn't. It was a cross between heaven and the hell I asked for, just what I asked for. I was calling him "Dr. Mengele" by the end and telling him "it was safe." Wish he was at home. Right know I feel great. On the towards-Truro-side of Provincetown. "Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww." read more

Run don't walk - This spa is a little slice of heaven on earth! Doug and the rest of the guys at blue day are the sweetest people you will ever meet and will make you feel so warm and welcome the moment you step through their doors. They are all so incredibly talented at what they do. My sisters, mom and I have been coming to Ptown every year and we always make sure to stop in for a massage. You will leave here feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! read more

Wonderful experience - from being greeted by Douglas when we arrived, the fantastic massage from Andy and Vlad, to all three of them providing dinner recommendations for us that evening. Highly recommend! Hospitality was an A++!!! read more

I made a Yelp account just so I could leave this review. I surprised my SO with a 60-minute Swedish massage for his birthday, and he hasn't stopped talking about it. Sheila worked wonders on him - I've never seen him so relaxed! I chatted with Doug for a bit in the waiting room area and he is so friendly and hospitable. Will definitely return next time we're on the Cape! read more

We came in for a deep tissue couples massage it is was excellent. Andy & Vlad were so welcoming and took plenty of time to get to know us and what we were looking for as far as any trouble spots, pressure, and injuries. We are already planning our next trip! read more

I came here for a deep tissue massage on my birthday, and Andy absolutely surpassed all my expectations. His expertise, diversity of techniques, and commitment to thoroughness left me feeling completely pain free and limber like I haven't been in years. My friend got a Swedish massage done by Vlad and was equally satisfied, so I think it's safe to say this place has an excellent team, on top of the great location. We much enjoyed the welcoming, serene environment and interesting chat with our therapists after getting rejuvenating massages. Hoping to come back sometime soon! It's worth a long trip simply to get the kind of improvement I found in my back and neck. 10/10 read more

I took a chance on Blu Day Spa and booked a Swedish massage. Fortunately, I was lucky enough that Tony was my assigned therapist. He asked me the typical questions about areas that needed focus, but he also found issues I didn't know I had. It was amazing! I was so relaxed afterwards, I could barely walk. I will definitely go back to Blu Day Spa when I'm in Provincetown again. Hopefully, Tony will be available, but I suspect all the therapists are just as amazing! I highly recommend this place! read more

excellent couples massage (deep tissue) today from Andy and Vlad. we wish we lived closer so that this could be a regular event! definitely 5 stars, great experience! read more

Before I review the spa, I must give Douglas a shoutout. He is the kindest, most hospitable person. He welcomed my boyfriend and I into the spa with open arms and provided us with tips on navigating Ptown. We were traveling with our large bag (since we had already checked out of our hotel room), and he offered us a place to keep it so that we did not have to walk around with it. Now onto the actual spa - I felt zen as soon as I stepped into the place, due to its cleanliness and general calming vibe. My boyfriend and I got the couples massage, and we both felt comfortable throughout the experience and extremely relaxed afterwards. Douglas offered us some mint tea he made from freshly picked herbs, which was just the cherry on top. My boyfriend and I will definitely visit Blu Say Spa every time we visit Ptown from here on out. They have won two loyal customers. read more

We had the gift of booking a massage at the Blu Day Spa during our trip to Provincetown. My partner Marc hadn't had a professional massage in over 15 years so I was excited when he said yes to the opportunity. The owner Douglas not only supported our massage, he provided a lot of guidance for our visit itself. As a long time local he gave us lots of choices for food and activities. Doug is very passionate about the healing benefits of massage and paired us with his best therapists. Sheila worked on Marc for 90 minutes and when I walked out of my session, and met him after his massage, he looked visibly different, taller and younger. My therapist Vladimir, was not just a pretty face. He listened patiently before the session to get an understanding of what I needed and he was extremely respectful. During the massage, I noticed he had very warm hands which is a good sign. He used a pressure technique that encourages healing. There were some strokes that he used on my neck and calves that felt as if multiple therapists were working on me, so he's got great moves! Having just come out of a red eye flight the night before, I was very grateful for this self care moment on this beautiful visit to Provincetown. I highly recommend this spa!! read more

My cell phone wasn't welcome, but I was. As soon as you walk into this little spa by the water, you experience a difference pace. You allow the music to relax you, and you hang your stress, along with your coat, by the door. Madrone, who provided an excellent service to my girlfriend and myself, not only was talented at his craft, he also created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. We'll be back. read more

My friend and I had rented bikes and rode 25 miles the day before. We were a bit sore and randomly picked Blu Day Spa to work out the kinks. Wow! We were immediately welcomed with big smiles, told to turn off our phones, sit, relax & drink some water. Both of our therapists (Kathleen & Andy) took the time to ask thorough questions about our issues & soreness. As other reviews have mentioned, the treatment rooms are divided by curtains. Sound does travel. But I focused on my own breath and was able to release into my own massage, which was both intense & relaxing. My friend also completely enjoyed her treatment with Andy. She has more of an injury than I and he worked very specifically & intensely. Everyone there seems to be top notch. We walked out feeling much much better than when we walked in. Definitely, check this place out. read more

An amazing shiatsu massage with Andy!! He and Doug were so friendly and welcoming. The treatment was superb.

I've had many massages but this was some of the highest quality massage work I have experienced. Vlad was my massage therapist and his work was healing, profound and nuanced. Truly amazing. The environment is also gorgeous, airy, and aesthetically highly pleasing. This is a wonderful place. My husband was given a massage by Doug Which was also wonderful, and Doug and I had a wonderful interactions as well. Three cheers for this place! Don't miss it! read more

My first real massage. Marcelo's technique challenged my threshold--that's probably why it feels so transformative. He also created a feeling of sanctified space in the massage room, and was simultaneously taxing and comforting in one stroke. Details like wiping my hands and the soles of my feet with the sheet before the end of the massage made the experience feel all the more about human-to-human caring. Thank you--! read more

Wonderful massage with Andy and lovely welcome to this spa from the staff. Will definitely return.

Marcelo was amazing extremely kind calm and listened. I've never had a full body massage and was a bit nervous but he totally made me feel comfortable considering I was unsure of a stranger man touching me! Lol read more

Top-notch professional massage from Douglas whose sensitive and skillful technique was the best I've ever had. He asked great questions beforehand, and was careful to use a pressure I liked. He's warm, caring and offers a choice of oils with or without aromas. Blu Day is a friendly, welcoming place--comfortable and comforting! I'll return many times for massage with Douglas. read more

I was anxiously awaiting to relax with a good massage today. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage therapist pet me and when I asked for more pressure she responded that she "wasn't comfortable with that." Later, she rubbed my back really fast and caused friction. When I told her that it was too hot she said, "what you are feeling is toxins leaving your muscles." I tried to just relax and enjoy it- but the spa is set up so low budget that there is nothing more than a curtain separating you from the space next to you.. Someone was always coming and going and it was plain impossible to put yourself in a place of total relaxation. I found myself looking at the clock hoping the hour would quickly pass. read more

I did not go here but my friend did. She has been to MANY places around the country. She booked an hour, asking for a combo Swedish and deep tissue and said her massage therapist seem to know his anatomy well and was good at reading her bones/muscles and knowing what needed to be done - she didn't have to guide or make requests. It was a quiet, non-talking experience (which is how it should be) and was so amazing she extended it by a half hour! read more
