I was In desperate need of a haircut and determined to try yet another new place. After trying a few options and being told that I could get an appointment in mid August, or they weren't taking on new clients, I tried one more salon - Angles Hair Salon - just off of Main Street in Hyannis. I got an appointment for two days later. Well - I found my new salon. Friendly, prompt and courteous...I explained to my stylist - Corian - what I wanted and first time out - he nailed it! I'm so thrilled... I actually hesitated before posting this review because this salon is a gem and I don't want it getting wildly popular - but - this salon is a gem!

I've been getting my hair done but over 40 years. I moved…read moreto the Cape almost 2 years ago, and I decided to find a stylist and a salon. Didn't use family recommendations I went on my own search and I came across the Salon 700 in Hyannis. I have been going there since I found it. It's been at least over a year or more. Between the greeting I get when I come in the door from the girls Danielle , Nicole everybody behind the counter. From my wonderful absolutely awesome Jillian who does my hair. I love Salon 700. The staff is absolutely amazing and they just make you feel like. You matter, they do a fantastic job with my hair and what my needs are. Never ever disappointed ever!! Women go to salon 700 in Hyannis you will not regret it! The aestheticians are awesome as well!!! My only sadness comes if I have to leave the Cape I will never find another place like Salon 700!!

The salon is clean and the staff . I went to 2 sessions for laser hair removal. The cost for each…read moresession was $150. There was minimal improvement after the first session, so I scheduled the next one with a different person. That person cancelled so I got the same person again. I told her I had no improvement, so she said she would increase the level/strength. Again, no change and no improvement. I would recommend that you find a place that does a fixed price per area rather than per session. I have lost faith in this salon's laser hair removal practice.

I'd been looking for a hair stylist and found Jess almost 10 years ago when I was a walk-in at a…read moresalon she was working at back then. That first appointment with Jess I immediately felt comfortable with her. My hair was gray (my choice) and every stylist I went to before Jess led off with hair color options before my butt even hit their chair. Jess was the ONLY hair stylist who didn't do this. I trust Jess implicitly and she's helped me find my way through different styles throughout the years. And yes, even the occasional hair color (again, my choice, no pushiness from Jess ever). She also found a way to keep me looking decent when I was on chemo. We've been through a lot hair-wise (and other-wise!) Jess and I, so much so that I call her my "hair miracle worker". Jess has an amazing gift and I'm happy to see her sharing it. Please don't miss out!

I would never recommend anyone go to this stylist. This was my first and absolutely last visit. I…read moresaw LINDA W., who happened to be the only stylist available at the time. From the moment I sat down, she was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She didn't listen to anything I asked for, cut me off mid-sentence, and spoke to me in a condescending tone as if I didn't know what I wanted with my own hair. When I explained the style I wanted, she immediately told me it wouldn't look good -- not in a helpful or constructive way, but in a way that made me feel belittled. Then, instead of working with me or offering alternatives, she went ahead and did the exact opposite of what I asked for. The result? A completely botched haircut that I now have to get fixed elsewhere and spend another couple hundred. This experience was frustrating, upsetting, and honestly humiliating. Save yourself the trouble -- I would not recommend her to anyone.

WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER…read more I booked a keratin treatment and haircut after seeing the professionalism displayed on this salon's website. My hairstylist was Lyla Duarte. I came in on May 1st with long, beautiful hair and clearly showed the length I wanted. The photos show my hair before the appointment, the length I requested, and what I was left with. The keratin looked great on the first day, but started fading within the first month. The haircut, however, was devastating. My hair was cut completely differently from what I asked for. I was heartbroken. I cried for days and felt like I didn't even look like myself anymore. It has taken me months to even have the strength to write this review. What made the situation even worse was the terrible customer service and complete lack of empathy afterward. I trusted this salon with my hair, and I deeply regret it. To future clients: please be very careful and make absolutely sure you are comfortable and confident before trusting this salon with your hair. My experience was devastating, and I would absolutely not recommend this salon.

I'm in the market for a new stylist, since I'm moving from Hudson, Ma (but I will ALWAYS BE…read more#GRANNIEHUDSONEATSOUT!), and this was the first Aveda salon I tried. It is a cozy and tasteful place, all sheeshee and dolled up, tiny but with the services of a "big girl" location. My first cut was on point, and I was VERY happy (dang, as I write, I can't remember my stylist name! But I loved her). Their massage/facial services are on the pricy point, so if I try them out, they better stand up to the cost (I've had services for less at a Ritz Carlton... yes, they are pricy), BUT if they are THAT good, then BRING IT! I'll try other places before I pick "my place". But this little tucked away gem, so far, is in the race!
