I was there for 5 hours..just to start I've been a customer here 4 times and last time I told her I didn't want a brassy look ,she said wait till next time to be safe w.your hair. .went in a scheduled apt. She did hy whole hair but left circle of orange along top and back then I told her and she got very aggressive told me what she thought was the best option /color,and when I was asked if I wanted it fixed I said yes and she out of spite darkened my hair with paint brush strokes all through my blond hair and tried to charge 180 plus tip after I left crying I hate it,she was so mean her assistant even apologized to me and had to whisper to speak due to how she acts speaks and what is said to others as well... I have an aunt who always did my hair w.highlights and a trim until she moved and I've never seen or experienced such a terrible person being in charge,bossy ordering people around,and talks/yells over a lot of people .do not go unless your getting your nails done..Josephine is not personable,or caring! read more

I can here for a mani pedi. It was total chaos. The nail tech was nice enough, but she's all over the place taking care of many customers at once. She paired my nails while talking to a friend on the phone. Then she left to drive a customer gone and didn't tell me. I had to wait for her to come back in order to pay her. Very strange. It was cheap to be sure, but too much choas for me. read more

Gina was a friendly professional....sat me down and talked about what I wanted before she got anywhere near the scissors! She did a wonderful job of doing what I asked. I'm very happy with my hair, and seriously, I was worried because I've had my hair done at the same place (now far away) for years. Well let me start by saying I ruined my own hair. I called and got an Immediate appointment, walked in embarrassed. These women aren't like how it is in other salons, they make you feel beautiful and important. Not to mention she saved my hair! More then fixed the color they accomplished to do the color of what u see in magazines. Then did a follow up to make sure I was happy. The experience was amazing, When I went back for a conditioning treatment and had my daughter with me which then treated her like a princess, offered her treats (with my permission first). All and all I could not be more happy with they way I was treated all the extra attention and the service was beyond amazing. If anyone wants what they want and have it be all about them I highly suggest making your appointment! read more

I've been going to Hair Today Plus for as long as I can remember and my entire family goes here too! I've messed up the color of my hair twice trying to dye it on my own, and every time I call for an appointment they always make time to fit me in, and I never leave disappointed. If you like getting your hair done at Grand Central Station, this is the place for you. There were two hairdressers working on at least ten people at the same time. My hairdresser was jumping between me and three other clients, like a bunny rabbit, at the same time. She paid no attention to me, didn't ask how I wanted my hair cut, and gave me one of the worst cuts of my life. Then she forgot that I had requested waxing, and once again, jumped back and forth between me and others. Also very high priced. Will never go there again! read more
